Chapter 23
Hey My Little Creepypastas (I have two welcoming signatures for my books now, okay? Pretty sure Sonic fans won't read these books so calling you Mobians is kinda dumb), so this chapter was both planned with much detail, but not planned well at all. So, this will probably change between Your P.O.V and the Narrator's P.O.V, because plot holes and fault and flaws and I'm stupid.
I apologise for the shitty lay out of this chapter, but a lot happens and I need to interpret shit and let you guys know what is going on where and stuff. Sorry. Anyway, enjoy...
~Your P.O.V~
You could hardly move. From being stuck in a bed, to being jabbed with a needle full of strange fluids, you were completely zapped of energy. Well, that's the only reasons you could think of for being so empty.
You had woken up in this bed many times, you could tell by the expression the nurse gave when you asked where you were. How long had you been here? A few days? Your whole life?
Wow, some shitty life.
You couldn't even remember most of it.
Or... Any of it.
Your name was the only thing that seemed to stick with you, because the nurse told you. She also told you that you were in the hospital, trying to forget about scary clowns. What scary clowns? Whatever was happening had clearly worked.
Giving out a yawn, you tried to recall anything that might have happened recently. Some images came here and there, an old man had apparently visited you, you weren't sure why, but he seemed very upset. And an older woman who looked similar to you, she was very nagging. You wondered what these two had to do with you, but you couldn't seem to remember.
What was the stuff the doctors had you on? It was very powerful.
The nurse walked into the room, giving you a tired smile, "Hello (Y/N), it's time to check your medication."
You nodded slowly, before letting out a sigh, "Why am I so tired...?"
"It might be a side effect to the medicine, everyone has different reactions to it." The nurse walked over, her brunette hair bouncing over her shoulders.
She grabbed the needle from your arm, and you felt a shiver go up one side of your body as she removed it. With a quick wipe, the needle was placed on a table, and she grabbed a clipboard. You watched as her dark eyes scanned the words, before she frowned.
"This is the third time Doctor Richard has overdosed your usage. I need to take this to the board. I am very sorry about this (Y/N), he will be removed from your care immediately." She turned and strutted out of the room, the door clicking shut behind her.
-Overdosed...?- You thought, -What does that mean...?-
Of course you remembered what it meant, but you didn't know what that could do to you. Would you get sick? Die? Was that why you were so weak?
It was definitely the reason you couldn't remember much.
So... What does that mean for you...?
~Narrator's P.O.V~
"Are you ready to do this?" Jeff asked as they entered the large hospital, "We'll have to check every room, unless we find information about her..."
The three murderers glanced around the room, only two being seen by the naked eye. They received strange looks, most people wondering why they were wearing jumpers and why their hoods were up.
In fact, the guards were already heading towards them.
"W-Well... Thi-This is trou-trouble-some..." Toby grunted, already reaching for his hatchets, "R-Ready to show-ow yourselfff?"
Laughing Jack frowned, before nodding, "So be it..."
Suddenly the guards froze, staring up at the clown in both shock and horror. He hadn't been standing there a few moments ago, where did he come from?
Jeff let out a chuckle, before pulling a kitchen knife from the pocket of his hoodie, "Looks like it's time to go to sleep...~"
He lunged forward, tackling one of the guards. Suddenly the room was full of screaming, from both the guard and the onlookers. People started to rush towards the exits, all but the front doors of course.
Alarms started blaring, whether it was fire alarms or security alarms, it was hard to say. The other guard pulled a taser out, looking between the two that stood still at the front entrance, and the white killer who had already silenced his friend.
"S-Stay back..!" He stuttered, legs trembling as he took a step back.
Laughing Jack smiled, an evil smile that spread across his face, and he shuffled forward. The guard shot the taser at him, but the clown was gone with the blink of an eye.
While the guard was distracted, Toby ran to the front desk. Once over the table and sat in the seat, he started typing on the computer.
"Found anything yet?" Jeff asked, wiping the bloodied knife on his jumper.
"G-Give me a ch-cha-ance..." Toby glared at him, before sighing, "N-No... Ju-ust ap-p-pointments an-d cat ph-photos."
"Shit. LJ, are you done with the guard yet?" The pale human looked over, to see that Jack had in fact finished with the guard, holding two halves in each clawed hand.
"Yeah.." He dropped the body pieces with a splat, "Did you find anything on (Y/N)?"
"No, w-we nee-eed to search the e-en-tire place..." Toby joined the other two.
"Or someone who can give us what we want." Jeff chuckled, spinning the blade in his hand, "Get to make a lot of beautiful faces today."
~Your P.O.V~
The room was quiet, as you quiet as you could remember it always been. Wow, you could remember something. The nurse hadn't returned yet, and you were wondering what the next few moments could mean for you.
How were you meant to get your memory back?
The only reason you knew you'd lost your memory to begin with was because the nurse had told you so. And because you really couldn't remember much. Did you have family? Where were they and what would they think if they found out you didn't know who they were?
Where did you live? Was it with your family, or did you live with someone else? By yourself?
Your life was going to be a mess.
Unless that's no different to beforehand.
You really couldn't tell.
The nurse walked back into the room, pulling a chair close to your bed and sitting down.
"Right (Y/N), I'm going to do a check, see how much you remember." She stated, setting a clipboard on her lap, "Can you tell me anything?"
You stared at her, before letting out a breath, "My name is (Y/N) (L/N), and I'm here to forget about scary clowns."
"Anything else?"
"No... Just that some old man visited me yesterday."
"And what was his name?"
You shrugged, before playing with the sheets, suddenly feeling shy, "Was he... Important?"
"Just a candy store owner." The nurse shrugged, "What about your mother, do you remember anything about her?"
"I think so... She nags a lot..." You stated, coming to the assumption that the nagging woman must have been her.
"Good. Do you remember her name?"
"No... Do I have any other family?"
"Not that I know of." The nurse sighed, "From what I gathered, you're an only child, and your father died a little over a decade ago."
"O-Oh... I didn't..."
"I know. But I can happily give you any information if you need it." The nurse gave you a smile, "Do you remember my name?"
"No..."
"It's Mary Sue dear." She pat your arm, "Well, I think I'll keep you here for a few more days, see if your memory comes back or not, and we'll go from there, okay?"
"Will it come back...?" You tilted your head.
The nurse hesitated, before standing, "I hope it does. Do not worry, we'll file a lawsuit against Doctor Richard for you, this was not meant to happen."
"What will that do for me...?"
"Well, you'll sue him and that should give you enough money to rebuild your house or buy a new one."
"Rebuild...? What happened to it?"
Mary Sue sighed, before shaking her head, "I don't want to overwhelm you (Y/N), I'll tell you tomorrow okay?"
You nodded, before sighing and leaning your head back into the pillow. It was silent for a while and you closed your eyes, doing your best to relax.
Who knows, maybe your memory will come back. But... Does it work like that?
Suddenly, an alarm started blaring outside your room, and you jumped. Mary Sue did as well, before turning to the door.
"That's strange... I'll go see what the problem is okay?" She gave you a reassuring smile, clearly seeing you were anxious.
"B-But shouldn't I go to?"
"It will be fine. If anything, it will just be a fire drill." She stated, before walking out of the room.
"W-Wait...!" You tried sitting up, but your limbs just didn't want to work, "Don't leave me here!"
A scream came from the other side of the door and you fell silent, gripping the blanket tightly as something red splashed across the window of your door.
-What is going on?!-
The door creaked open slowly, and you watched with wide eyes as a pale white face, covered in blood peeked in. At first you thought he was smiling, a creepy smile was inhumanly wide. But you realised soon enough that he had scars from his lips to his cheeks, giving him a permanent smile.
His crazed eyes locked on you and you wished you could move, run, do anything, but you could hardly sit up.
Walking into the room slowly, he held a kitchen knife at his side.
"Are you (Y/N)?" He asked, tilting his head.
"I-I..." You took a deep breath, "Why...?"
He stared at you, and you realised he wasn't blinking. At all.
"Just answer the question."
"Y-Yes..." You closed your eyes, expecting him to jump on you and slaughter you.
"Oh good, I don't think my jumper can be any more soaked..." He stated, before walking over and picking up the clipboard Mary Sue had dropped, "Holy shit, they really wanted you to forget him..."
"Forget who...?" You asked, watching as he put the knife on the metal table that still held the needle.
"Laughing Jack, sound familiar?"
You shook your head slowly.
"Fuck... Hold on." He placed the clipboard on your lap, before jogging out of the room.
You were frozen, not sure what to do. A growing pool of blood appeared in your doorway, and you wondered if Mary Sue was okay, or if she was the one that screamed.
A shudder went up your spine, and you hoped she had gotten out safely. She was too nice to die horribly.
Footsteps ecoed from the hall and you stilled once again, watching as the white-skinned man ran back into the room, followed by another that wore a brown jumper, stained in what you could only assume was blood. He wore a hood over his head, large orange goggles and a mask over his mouth and nose. The turned his orange gaze to you and you flinched as you heard him tic.
"(Y-Y/N)?" He asked.
"Yes..." You mumbled.
"T-Toby." He pointed to himself, "D-Do you rem-ember me?"
You shook your head, and he let out a sigh, "O-Okay."
"Well ain't that lucky." The other chuckled, "Considering he nearly killed you."
Your (e/c) eyes widened, and Toby faced the other, probably glaring at him.
"Wh-What about Jack?" He asked, turning back to you.
You shook your head slowly, and the brunette sighed, wiping his gloved fingers over his goggles, "L-LJ... Co-me out..."
You titled your head in confusion, before a tall being appeared in front of the others. Your gaze raised to meet his silvery eyes, and you felt a pang go through your chest. He slouched under the roof of the room, his lengthy arms nearly dragging on the floor.
The black and white monochrome theme was clear in his outfit, which suited that of a clown's, and his dark hair and lips made you wonder if this was the supposedly 'scary' clown the nurse had you forgetting.
The clown, who you could only assume was Laughing Jack crouched in front of you, holding the railing on the bed with a dark clawed hand.
"(Y/N)? What did they do to you..."
"Drugged her, they have her listed for schizophrenia." The un-named man stated, pointing at the clipboard on your lap.
The tall clown stared at it, before lifting it and scanning the paper.
"I see... So you don't remember much then..." He turned his silver eye to you, "And this is all you remember?"
You nodded slowly, still gripping the sheets and wondering what these non-human creatures wanted with you.
Suddenly, sirens could be heard from outside your window, and all three looked up. The white-skinned boy cursed, before turning to the others.
"We need to go. Now."
"Right." The clown nodded, before turning to you, "We need you to come with us."
You shook your head, "I can't... What about my mum?"
"I-I'll ta-ake care of h-her..." Toby stated, holding to small axes.
"No. Don't hurt her." Laughing Jack stated, "(Y/N), I know this is a big ask, and I know you don't remember... Everything... But I need you to come with me. We can tell you everything."
"You can...?"
"You bet." The clown smiled, showing his sharp teeth, "But we need to go now." He stood tall, slouching under the roof, "Can you walk?"
You shook your head again, "I'm too weak..."
The clown frowned, before his eyes lit up and a lollipop appeared in his hand, "Here, this will help."
"It... Will...?"
"You have some sugar problems. You need to have candy regularly to be able to function." Jack stated.
You nodded, before taking the candy.
"Jack. We need to go."
"Right." He scooped you up in his striped arms, before walking out of the room.
You looked around, taking in the bloody mess of the halls, before spotting Mary Sue at Jack's feet, two lines carved into her face to form a smile and another line carved across her neck. She stared up at you with dull eyes, her once pretty features already scarring your mind.
You felt a clawed hand turn your head away, and you closed your eyes tightly, gripping onto the suspenders that the clown wore. He let out a sigh, and suddenly, the sirens could be heard no more.
BTW guys, I know 'white-skinned' probably isn't the best description of Jeff, but you all know what I mean, and you all know that the reader doesn't know who he is. I apologise if this offended you, but really, his skin is literally white. So sorry, but oh well...
Haven Out!!!
