Brotato's P.O.V

I was too bummed to have fun training with Sky. He gets to go on an adventure, while I'm stuck here! Plus, I'm so scared for him! I growled in annoyance and slumped down on my bed. Kyle was my roommate, so he peered over to check on me.

"Are you okay?" He asked me. I shook my head.

"Didn't you hear about our mentors?"

"Yeah. I want to go too. But we're not really ready yet." My eyes darted around the room, trying to avoid his gaze.

"Whatever. Let those two have fun." I spat.

"Oh, grow up. It's very dangerous too!" Kyle objected.

"Exactly! So I am concerned!" I defended. Kyle rolled his eyes and laid back on his bed. It was time for us to sleep, but we chatted a bit. Kyle groaned.

"Good night, I am tired."

"Good night." I replied, but was wide awake. I waited, and waited, waiting for his snoring to begin. He eventually did, but it probably very very early dawn. I closed my eyes, waiting the darkness to wash over me, but it didn't happen. I got up from my bed, and walked over to the bathroom. I soaked my hands in the bucket of water. I splashed some in my face, gazing at the mirror.

"I can't let Sky get hurt..."
