Lance sees a male hybrid deer holding his bleeding stomach as the hybrid deer sobs "Please help me, I'm dying" Lance kneels down and says "I know you, You're Adam. Shiro's mate" Adam says "I was until I miscarried and was rejected by him. Then I got kidnapped by hunters that were going to use me for a slot so I escaped but I ended up getting hurt on the way out of here" Lance agrees "So that explains why you weren't there and Shiro went on a vengeful rampage" Adam asks "Takashi? On a rampage?" Lance replies "Oh, you didn't know. After the wolf pack heard you disappeared, Shiro went insane and started slaughtering innocent animals just to scare us humans and I should know because I'm human" Adam asks "Who are you?" Lance replies "My names is Lance and I think I can help you with your wound. I'll take you to my cottage"

Lance carries Adam piggyback style to the cottage and when he reaches it, he sees nobody there and only a note that says "Hunk, Pidge and I are at another town to get you those Juniberry seeds and won't be there until next week. Hugs and Kisses, Uncle Coran" Lance sighs "I guess it's just you and me, Adam" Lance carries Adam to his bedroom, places Adam on the bed and says "Don't move, wait right here" Lance places the basket on the table and uses some ingredients to create a healing potion and after he's done, Lance places the potion in a bottle and some on his hand while he walks towards Adam and places the potion on the wound as it starts healing and Adam says "Thank you, Lance" Lance agrees "You're welcome, Adam. Now try to rest. You're still recovering and need time to get back on your feet" Adam asks "And what will you be doing?" Lance replies "I'll make some dinner for both of us and after that I'll sleep in my uncle's bedroom"

Adam says "You're too kind to do that, Lance" Lance says "Nonsense, I don't want you lying on the floor feeling uncomfortable" but as Lance leaves his bedroom, he starts feeling sick again, runs into the bathroom and pukes on the toilet until he stops, flushes the toilet and groans "I'm really gonna have to take that test tomorrow" Lance takes a shower, drinks some water to get rid of the vomit breath and starts cooking dinner when he heard a knock on the door and when he opens it, Lance sees Lotor and asks "What are you doing here, Lotor?" Lotor replies "I just haven't heard from you since you disappeared with that mysterious stranger" Lance asks "You know about that?" Lotor replies "Lance, everybody knows about that" Lance asks "Really?" Lotor replies "Oh yes but all that aside, I'm glad you're back" Lance says "And so am I but now it's time for you to go" Lotor gets inside quickly before Lance closes the door and says "Lance, before you reject me again. I must ask you for the hopefully last time" and when he asks "Will you marry me?"

Lance replies "Lotor, every day you ask me the same question and every day I give you the same answer. No, so this better be the last time" Lotor says "But you're all alone and have no one else to turn to" Lance asks "I have my uncle and friends. What could you possibly offer me?" Lotor replies "I have money, loads of it. Enough to buy you a new house and a new life away from here. Please Lance, marry me and we can leave all this behind" Lance sighs "Give me a moment to think about it until tomorrow, Lotor. Then and only then will I consider your proposal" Lotor says "Understood, I will wait" and as Lotor leaves, Lance closes the door and sighs "What am I gonna do? I'm so torn" While Lance and Adam have dinner, Adam asks "Do you live here alone?" Lance replies "No, I live with my uncle but he's in town with my two best friend, Hunk and Pidge" Adam asks "What are they like?" Lance replies "Well, Uncle Coran is always makes the best jokes and he invents great things even though some result in exploding. Hunk and Pidge help me with my studies and grocery shopping but also like to tease me about daydreaming about my dream lover"

Adam says "You live in a small world, Lance" Lance agrees "More like too small. Everyone in the village does the same thing every morning and every day, I wish there could be more than this provincial life I'm having. When I met Keith, things were different and he was one of the only people who understood me when no one else would" Adam says "Keith sounds lucky to have you just when he had Allura" Lance feels sad at the thought of Allura and agrees "Yeah, lucky him" Adam asks "You okay? You look kinda sad" Lance replies "I just miss my parents since they died but I'll never forget the memories we shared" After dinner, Lance tucks Adam in the bed and Lance goes to Coran's bedroom to sleep and as he tucks himself in, he falls asleep and began to dream that he saw himself in the old cottage which looked like it was twelve years ago and when he sees his mother standing there, Lance asks "Mama, what are you doing here?" Rosa replies "Lance, you must return to the woods. Keith's life is in danger" Lance says "Mama, I can't go back. Shiro said so" but when Rosa says "You are being used, Lance. This is all a deception even you yourself are a deception" 

Lance asks "What do you mean?" Rosa replies "The answers are in my diary that us buried in my grave. Only you can bring peace to humans and animals, Lance. Now please wake up" Lance says "Mama no, don't leave me" Rosa yells "Wake up! Find the journal" Lance wakes up and runs toward Red and Blue as he hops into the cart and rides to the old cottage when he stops and sees his mother's grave glowing brightly so Lance gets off the cart, walks towards the grave, digs it up and sees his mother's journal and reads "My sweet son Lance, if you are reading this, it means your father and I are gone but know that we live in you. I had every spell written in this journal and buried it before I was burned to the stake because there's something I should've told you long ago. I am a witch and you are too. I wanted to tell you but your father and I were in danger when I was caught casting a healing spell on a dying eagle so we had no choice but to send you to your uncle Coran to protect you from dangerous witch hunters like Zarkon, the one who is going to execute us. I hope you know that I will always be with you no matter where I am. I love you, Lance and I always will. Love, Mama"

Lance gasps "I'm a witch? Mama's a witch? So that's why she told me to run" Lances turns to his mother's grave and says "Thank you, Mama for telling me the truth. Now that I know who I am, I'm gonna do everything in my power to use these spells for good" but when he sees a rock flying towards him, Lance ducks and the rock lands in front of them as Lance sees a note that says "I know you have the cubs with you so if you want them to live, marry Lotor or else" Lance gasps "How could they know where the cubs are? And how did they know they were with me?" Lance rides back to the cottage and when he goes inside, Lance sees Adam with the basket and Adam says "I was hoping you'd be here" Lance asks "So now you know, don't you?" Adam replies "Yes and you're not gonna believe this" Lance says "Don't worry, I already know. You can come out now little ones"
