Lance wondered at the world about him and at what lay beyond the fearsome wall of thorns but he was not the only one who wished to get through. Acxa, Zethrid, Ezor and Narti were on the other side of the wall of thorns. Keith watches Lance staring at the wall and says "Curious little beasty" Meanwhile with the soldiers, Ezor sees someone and asks "Is that him? Is that Keith?" Zethrid sees Lance and replies "I don't know" Keith eyes the soldiers and turns to Shiro as he says "Bring them to me" Keith turns Shiro into a wolf and walks behind Lance as he blows magic at him, knocking the boy unconscious and making him float up in the air. Acxa sees Lance and says "It's just a silly peasant boy" that's when they hear a howl and draw their weapons. A big black wolf stalks out of the shadows while growling and snarling at the soldiers. They tried to retreat but Keith stood in front of them and Shiro, in wolf form, stands behind them

Keith lifts his hands and uses his magic to lift the soldiers off the ground and into the air. He spins them around and around making them drop their helmets, swords, shields and axes then he sharply flung his hands sending the soldier flying in different directions. Keith notices a helmet on the ground and tries to touch it but he could feel the heat rising from it and pulls his hand away as Shiro approaches him and Keith changes him back into a human as Shiro angrily asks "How could you do that to me?" Keith replies "You said anything I need" Shiro complains "Yeah but a dog" Keith argues "It was a wolf, not a dog" Shiro retorts "It's the same thing. They're dirty, vicious and they hunt birds" Keith growls "Fine, next time, I'll turn you into a mealy worm" Shiro shouts "Well, I'll be a worm. Gladly" Keith turns him back into a bird and sees Lance still floating in mid-air and whispers "I wonder" Keith and Shiro arrive at the Moors with Lance floating behind them and once he remained hidden in the trees, Keith gently places Lance on the ground

A few seconds later, Lance wakes up and finds himself in the Moors. He had never seen such beauty before. Sure, he had been in the woods many times but the Moors were nothing compared to the forest. He sees fairies flying toward and around him as he laughs until they see something and fly away as Lance turns around and sees something behind a tree as he says "I know you're there. Don't be afraid" Keith chuckles "I'm not afraid" Lance insists "Then come out" Keith warns "Then you'll be afraid" Lance shakes his head and states "No, I won't" Keith appears out of the shadows as Lance looks at him in shock and says "I know who you are" Keith asks "Do you?" Lance nods but smiles and replies "You're my Fairy Godfather"

Keith's eyes widen in confusion and asks "What?" Lance answers "Fairy Godfather. You've been watching over me my whole life. I've always known you were close by" Keith asks "How?" Lance replies "Your shadow. It's been following me ever since I was small. Wherever I went, your shadow was always with me" Keith was baffled at such a response but Shiro flies down into a nearby branch and caws as Lance smiles and says "I remember you. Pretty bird" Keith states "This is Shiro" he waves his hand and turns Shiro back into a human as Shiro says "Hello Lance, I've known you since you were a little one" Lance beams "It's everything I imagined it would be. It's just so beautiful! Oh, I've always wanted to come-" but before he could finish, Keith blows magic in his face again and knocks him unconscious causing Lance to float again

Keith approaches the cottage with Lance floating behind him until Keith guides Lance to his bedroom and lays him down in his bed as Keith whispers "Good night, beasty" Keith couldn't understand why Lance called him his Fairy Godfather or why he still didn't fear him. Keith wanted to hate Lance because he was Lotor's son but also Allura's son. Lance reminded Keith so much of Allura that he couldn't help but hear his heart beating as he asks "What is wrong with me? What is this feeling?"
