CHAPTER 3

KILLING ME

Chapter 3

Min's POV.

PRESENT TIME

I almost hated it when I know I cannot held my head high while walking down the hallway, because those piercing stares from strangers, made my knees wobbled in fear. But I know what's really happened and I am not gonna fall from the trap of the evil. I am gonna confront her right now, because for what they did as the inhuman thing to do.

It's been a week since that birthday of Damien. I almost puke, when I remember I got a crush on him for that slight moment, and I could not take his face out of my head for a few days, still now, but not because I like him. It is because they did something sinister to me, and they must pay for it.

I am now heading to their org's office. I didn't join or apply to be an officer, I am just a lonely, and quiet girl but all of a sudden, I became this famous for everyone to whisper, everytime I passed by them?

I didn't dream of this. It was just a simple wish, actually. To have friends. And the dumb one that I was, I didn't complete my sentence.

Is to have REAL friends.

"Is that her? The S*ck my T*ts Girl?" I could hear it. I could ducking hear it from my own two ears, but I pretended not to.

I duckin know who are they talking about.

Who are they referring to.

Duck!

Successfully, I entered their office and slammed the sliding door behind me. Gladly there she is, fresh and even happily munching those chips from its can.

She must have heard the bang of their door's office and looked at my direction quicky. "Min, is that you? What brings you here?" She looks slightly different because she's got now braces, but that bitch face that I mistaken as an angel is still there.

"Come with me, Fiona." I commanded. I am not asking for a ducking favor because if she will refuse, then I could grab that long luscious hair of her's and drag her outta their office, and up to the rooftop of our building.

I could do that. Try me, Fiona.

She must have noticed how dark my eyes were while staring straight to her angelic-bitch face.

She smiled a little and nodded her head. "What is it you want to talk? I could lend you a hand anytime."

I almost smirked and laugh at her. She did not even treated me as a friend after that scandal took place, just the night after that birthday party at the bar. I was too innocent that they took advantage on me.

Instead I flatly said, "Follow me to find out."

Kapag nakatalikod siya ay masasabi kong nais ko pa rin siyang maging kaibigan pero kapag nakaharap na siya ay all those things they did to me will keep me up at night. And I would regret it all over again.

"I can spare you 20 minutes..." She said while staring at her iphone and then back to me. "...Damien can be stubborn, y'know. I have to get back to the office." She pointed out the office which is on the first floor using her thumb over her shoulder.

She gave me an apologetic look, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have mentioned him."

I can feel my tears starting to build up on the corner of my eyes, but I stopped myself from doing so. I am not here to beg her to save me from this misfortune. Nor get myself embarrassed.

She is clearly teasing and acting like a bitch. Why didn't I noticed that from the first time we saw each other?

My fist curled into a fist, and I hid it naturally at my back and then forced a smile to make her feel that I didn't care about such names. "You must be wondering why you're here—"

I was caught off guard when she cuts me off.

"Just get into business, girl. Didn't you hear me? I need go go back to the office," she said emphasizing every word to me as if I am a child.

I gritted my teeth and took a step forward. "So you do you want me to slap you on your right cheek or left cheek? Well, how about I pushed you so that you'll get the shortcut to the office you're talking about?" I raised an eyebrow after that.

My voice was shaking but I managed to articulate my words well. I am not going to make her get the crown and tramp me like a rag. I can also fight and make her beg to her knees, fighting for her duck up life.

She only smiled at me and, she as well took a step forward, but before I knew it, her heavy bare hands came into me like an air. Both my cheeks were swollen, because she slapped me both on it.

I gasped for air and when I was also about to hit her, she managed to get a hold of me and with her menacing look she said, "You're acting like a brat when I was the one who saved you that night. Wake up, Min, why are you accusing me of something? Were you that drunk..." She trailed off her words, while also staring me from head to toe.

"...or you only remember your first one-night stand with Damien that you completely forgot how I brought you safe and sound to your home?"

I blinked several times. Her face is closer with me and yet after she slapped me, and I could feel the sting, it still didn't hit me anything at all. Maybe because this is the side effects of the drugs they forefully feed me that I forgot the most important part.

But even though, it really happened—it is my first time getting drunk so maybe I could remember it easily and gradually but it's been a week already.

How can I not remember?

"Fuck you, Min. Did that really brought you trauma that you forget to thank your knight?" Gone with her bitch-face, she is now using her pleading eyes.

She looks dramatic as if she's the victim.

The world I thought was already cruel just proved it could go even lower. These were the people I trusted—or at least tried to trust. I was ready to give them a piece of my quiet life. I smiled when they smiled. I laughed even when I didn't get the joke. I let them in.

Fool.

Min, you're a fool.

I should've walked away the moment I saw how Fiona could manipulate a room with a single smile. I should've questioned it when Damien poured me that third drink with that fake concern in his eyes. But I was desperate. I was lonely. And all I wanted was to belong.

Instead, they gave me a label. A nickname whispered with mocking mouths.

"Sck my Tts Girl."

As if that's all I'll ever be.

Was I nothing but a toy to them? A plaything they could wind up for fun and discard when they were bored?

My throat burned with a mix of shame and rage. I didn't just lose a memory—I lost my voice that night. And now they want me to doubt my own reality?

"You're acting like a brat when I was the one who saved you that night..." Her words echoed inside me like a cursed lullaby.

Saved me? From what—herself? From Damien? From the very scene they orchestrated?
She's rewriting the script. Trying to paint herself as the hero, when I know damn well, she stood by and watched—no, smiled—while it happened.

And I—I can't even remember what "it" really was.

That's what terrifies me the most.

There are gaps in my memory that I can't quiet fill in.

She is asking the wrong person.

Hindi pasasalamat ang utang ko sa kaniya.

I will fix this problem and I will make sure that they can never bark ever again.

I clenched my fists tighter behind my back, nails digging into my skin. It hurts. But that pain feels real—unlike everything else.

Everything's a performance with her.
The only real thing she ever gave me was betrayal.

I stared at her, not blinking. Because if I blink, I'll cry. And I've done enough crying for people who don't deserve it.

This isn't about Damien anymore. Not even about that night.

This is about me. About reclaiming the pieces they shattered.

Because the worst part isn't even what they did.

It's how they made me question myself.

Was it my fault?

Did I smile too much?

Did I give them the wrong idea?

Should I have just stayed home?

No. No more.

They will not gaslight me into silence.

They will not bury the truth.

And if I'm going down—I'll make damn sure they come with me.
