BEEP! BEEP! BEE-- SMACK!  I slammed my alarm off and got out of bed. I turned off my alarm so it wouldn't go off while I was gone. I groaned and grabbed my bag and started to stuff it with matches and a water bottle in case I couldn't find a river when I went back 'home'. I grabbed my phone and my chocker which I always have worn since the last incident with my biological family.

I double checked that both of my charms were still on. I took the charms off and checked the blades of my sword and daggers. All of them were still sharp so I don't have to sharpen them. I grabbed my phone and texted Mary in 'code'

Me: Hey Mary!! I'm going on vacation with my family to China for about a month. It may be longer. I'm not sure how long we're staying. Mom never told me. Just wanted to let u know! See u hopefully soon! Luv u! ^3^

I sighed. I do hope that I won't get wiped out like my family did. I don't want to die by 'his' hands like my family. I would hate myself for that. If I don't live out my life for my family, they will never see how the world is now. Where I come from, time is faster but we 'demons' don't age. In the world I'm from, I'm 256 years old. Yes, I'm old, but not really. I am 12 in human years and the fact that I'm just 256 years old in the world, I'm one of the youngest there. My best friend in that world is Tomoe. He's 547 years old there and 15 here in the human world. He's a beautiful white fox demon with a pair of dull, purplish, misty blue eyes. He has white long hair, and a pair of fluffy white fox ears with an enormous fluffy tail. When I was three, I'd always chase his tail around and practice my hunting skills on it.

I got excited about seeing Tomoe again and started squealing to myself. I was skipping around the house collecting my stuff when I heard a familiar knock. I groaned. It was the police again. I willed my bag and my sword and daggers into charms and walked up to the front door.

"Morning Officers!" I yawned as I opened the door. They just stared at my bed hair. (I forgot to brush it. I only had it in a sloppy pony tail) I grabbed the brush I had with me, next to stairs, and took out the hair tie to brush my hair.

"Hello, Ms. Chung. I hope you're aware that it's time for you to go now," one of the officers grumbled. I stopped brushing my hair and looked at him.

"Sorry. I'm not going anywhere with you guys. I have to go to school. My parents are at work right now and my brother is a friend's house for a sleepover last night. His friend is bringing him to school in case you're wondering." I finished brushing my hair and put it up in a ponytail. I started stretching my arms. I could tell that they were going to fight me to go with them. Welp. I wish them luck, they're gonna need it. The missing fixer in the front just shook his head and reached over to grab my wrist. I saw it coming and reacted first.

As soon as he grabbed my wrist, I tugged him towards me and he tripped over the doorstep. I twisted my wrist out of grip just as he was going to make impact with the floor and slammed face first into the tile ground. I stifled a laugh at his pathetic he looked. He was shocked and just laid there frozen. I turned towards the rest of them and taunted them with a smirk. There were four more. I swiftly side-kicked them on the upper should, knocking their walkie-talkies off of them and smashing them to the ground. The guy on the floor had his broken from the impact. Now they had no way of calling for back up.

"Come on! What's wrong? Don't wanna fight me?" I taunted them again. They all hesitated a second. Then one of them finally got the courage to charge at me. I sidestepped him and tripped over the doorstep and landed on top of the other guy. I tried not to laugh at them and jumped on top the cops on the ground to keep them down. The cops below me were arguing with each other and telling each other to get off. I turned to other cops.

"Whose next?" I asked. They all looked at each other and whispered about something. One of them looked at me.

"I'll go but can u step outside?" He and the others backed off for me to come out. Finally! At least one of them is smart! I thought to myself. I gracefully jumped off of the pile of cops out into the lawn. I finally had more room the fight. The remaining three cops surrounded me in a triangle and had their hand by their gun filled with tranquilizers. I smiled. I hadn't had a real fight in years! I'm excited.

"Let's go! You start!" I shouted gleefully and braced myself for the upcoming attack. It's gonna be painful if I get hit but who cares! I get to see how much I've grown since then!! I smiled happily to myself. It would the first time I had some action in a while.
