It is now Saturday since you found out about Kaneki and all you have done is sit in your room and mourn. One thought kept popping up in your mind, that to you he seemed to be missing, not dead. You knew that Hide has just lost his childhood friend and what he would be feeling at this moment in time. His pain would have been like none other before, maybe even what it felt like when you thought you were going to loose Luke, but much worse considering that Kaneki was actually gone...That's it....is he really gone?  You felt your tears start to spill over the edge and roll down your cheek. You started to realize that you were never going to see him again, but then the thought of him still being alive was a possibility. If he wasn't in any of the hospitals..then he would have had to get out somehow. But even if he did, where did he go? What was he doing? Why hasn't he called? As you were thinking, your phone buzzed. You got all excited but when you checked, your hype was turned down a notch. It was Luke...

LUKE: Hey, haven't seen you all weekend. I was wondering if you wanted to hang out at this new place Hide said Kaneki and him used to go too. He thought it would be a nice memorial or something nice to remember him by. You wanna tag along?

You looked at the message, your heart started to beat faster. Someplace to remember him by....You continued to look at your screen. Your fingers hovering over the buttons, but could do nothing, like they were frozen. Did you want to go? Would it hurt to see the place that he once loved? Would it be fine to break down in pain for the one you had once loved? 

---Time Skip---

You reached the cafe and looked at it with emotion, Anteiku...You walked up the small stairs leading to a red door, walking inside to find a lovely small roomy cafe. You looked around to find Luke and Hide sitting at a four seated table. Seeing this place made your heart hurt, This place reminded you so much of Kaneki. You could tell why he loved this place, it was quiet, small and a relaxing place to sit and enjoy the view of the town. You sat beside Luke with a half hearted smile while Hide looked like he was going to break down in full on tears. Luke placed an arm around your shoulders. Comforting you was the most he could do at this moment in time. "Hey, are you sure you want to be here?" Luke questioned you and as you looked over at Hide, you saw that he needed this more than anything. "I'm fine, we are here for Hide, to comfort him and do the best we can to make him feel whole again." You whispered back. Luke knew that it wasn't just for Hide, he could always see that you grew something for Kaneki, and knew that you needed this as much as Hide did, but, this wasn't for you, even though your heart is aching, it wasn't as much as Hide, he has known Kaneki since they were little, the poor guy had a horrible time sitting in that spot. He lowered his head and balled his fists. "Hide, you can go home if this is too much for you." You said to him as you placed a soft hand over his balled fists. He looked up and had a great full glint in his eyes. He looked at Luke and whispered a thank you then gathered his stuff and got out of the place that reminded him so much of his and Kaneki's time together. Now it was just you and Luke. There was a tension in the air but it wasn't awkward. Sometimes you could just sit in silence and it wouldn't be an awkward situation. Someone comes up to the side of the table as you were in thoughts. "Hello! What can i get for you today?" You both looked up and saw a waitress standing there with purple short hair her bangs hanging in front of her right eye."Hi, could we please get two coffees please, thank you." Luke smiled at the waitress and she wrote it all down. You forced yourself to smile back. You sat there and waited. Luke had something on his mind and wanted to tell you, but you were in another world to notice the situation. You both drank your coffee then said your goodbyes and walked home, frustration clearly in Luke's face as he watched your body go blurry as you walked away in the distance. He needed to tell you.....but could he? You continued to walk home with a light smile on your face, Well at least i know a place where he will always be with me...
