The cold heart wind shivered in Emerald's spine, she woke up with a jolt, she exited the cave trying not to wake up Kanobe "EMERALD! EMERALD! HURRY" A voice said, Emerald couldn't see anything so she thought it was all just in her head "EMERALD, YOU MUST HURRY, THE WORLD IS IN DANGER!" The voice said again, Emerald whipped her eyes thinking it was all just a dream, but it wasn't... "What was that strange dream? Why are there voices in my head?" Emerald wondered. Emerald decided that she should go for a walk to clear her mind.

The sky was white with white snowflakes falling from the sky, the ground fluffy white, Emerald's green paws sinking in to hardly be seen by the sky, Emerald stood out from the scenery, a young blue wolf was lying on the ground curled up shivering, when Emerald walked closer, she saw the wolf was a light blue colour with a streak of dark blue on its fur "s-s-so-so c-c-c-co-cold" The blue wolf was half frozen in the cold, most of her body frozen, Emerald ran over to the wolf, she picked it up and ran home "Diamond!" Emerald called, a white wolf emerged from a cave "y-yes?" She asked lifting up her paw to wipe her eyes, she ran over to Diamond and gave her the blue pup, Diamond ran over to another cave and a grey wolf emerged, the wolf took the blue pup from Diamond's jaw, Emerald thought she had done enough help so she walked back to her cave.

There Kanobe had a ball of leaves, she was chasing it around the cave, Emerald walked into the cave, she was holding a rabbit in her jaw, she dropped it on the hard cold floor, Kanobe ran over to it, she sniffed it then started nibbling it. Emerald smiled and took off the Rabbit's ear to eat it herself, Emerald finished eating it then left the cave, there was Diamond standing at the boarder and a pure white wolf standing on the other side "you're not Pearl! She died two years ago!" Diamond yelled at the wolf "I am... just ask me any question and I'll know the answer" The white wolf said "fine, when was this pack created?" Diamond asked, anger in her eye "one hundred years ago" the white wolf replied, Diamond looked shocked, an impressed glint in her eye "how did you know that?" Diamond asked surprised "I just know" the white wolf replied "welcome back, Pearl" Diamond said, letting the wolf through.

The white wolf came into a different cave, she went past Emerald and Kanobe, she just nodded her head, smiling, the white wolf walked over to her cave, her neck had a golden necklace with a pearl on it. Another wolf followed behind her, the wolf was a red pup, the pup had dark red marking on them. "Come on Phoenix" the white wolf said picking up the red wolf and taking her inside the cave. Something was strange... but what was it?
