*Riddhi Pov*

"Wow! You are looking awesome." Rose said, turning me around.

"Yeah! My Mom gave this to me while I was returning here." I said smiling at her.

"Your Mom sure has an amazing taste." She said, grinning and I nodded glancing in the mirror.

It is a Saree but not at the same time. One of her friends brought a few to the town from some city and Mom immediately bought a few for me.

"Let's go! We are getting late." I said, glancing at the clock and we both walked outside the room.

"I wish you were really my girlfriend." Noah said making me laugh and I brushed both of their heads before walking inside the café.

"I am taking another leave. I hope you both don't mind." I said, staring at Uncle.

"Come on! There is not much work today due to that party. So, don't apologize." Aunty said and I nodded before leaving the café.

"Hey!" we heard someone calling when we reached near the Jim's house and saw a few classmates of ours walking towards us.

We all talked to each other and entered to see amazing decoration of the house and was told to go into the garden directly from beside the house and not into it.

"Why don't we just stay here forever." Rose said twirling around.

"We sure can! Why don't we ask the newly wedded couple?" I asked laughing when Jim and Lisa heard her comment reaching near us.

"I was just saying." Rose said glaring at me to which I just smiled.

"Trust me! This is decorated to make you feel like that otherwise this place is boring unlike her house." Jim said and we turend to look at his hand direction and saw a small sweet house leaning to the compound wall of this mansion.

"You both were neighbors?" I asked them smiling.

"From the time we were kids except a few years." Lisa replied.

"So, you both really were childhood lovers. Wow! You guys are still together, which is very rare." Rose said, smiling at them and my smile slipped.

"I am so sorry!" she immediately added looking at my face.

"Hey! It was nothing." I said, assuring her, but inside I felt hurt thinking why didn't we last together forever and had to separate.

"Hey Jim!" we all heard a voice and turned to see Sailu as usual in an amazing attire walking towards us holding Shiv's hand.

"Looking great!" Lisa commented and they talked to her for a few minutes before walking away to greet other guests.

"Again Saree? Will you never learn?" Sailu asked, smirking and I stopped Rose when she moved to say something.

"Well, there is no one with me to object my wishes right? So, everything is cool." I replied, smiling and walked away, ignoring the flinch from Shiv.

"Ok! Was there any incident where he didn't do something wrong?" Rose asked when I explained why Sailu made that comment.

"It was good that he did some things like that. Otherwise, I would have never seen anything other than him even after break-up." I replied sighing.

"Ok! Go and dance with someone. I don't want sadness when you are looking great." She said and pushed me making me glare at her.

I danced with a few classmates and then felt someone holding me for a dance, but I immediately stepped away looking at the person.

"You are looking great, Riddhi." Shiv said, moving his hand to touch my cheek.

"You will hurt Sailu with these comments and I am telling this with experience." That's all I said and tried to move away from the couples but he stopped holding my hand.

"I am really sorry for making those all mistakes, Riddhi. Please forgive me." He said, pleading me.

"Shiv! I am not feeling comfortable with all this. Leave my hand. You are happy in your world with your friends and your amazing girlfriend then why are you disturbing me?" I asked taking my hand away and rushed away from there before reaching a secluded place.

"Ahh!" I screamed, but it was broken before it could reach anyone which started when I felt someone holding my hand and the same one closed my mouth.

I started kicking the person, but he just dragged me away, making me unable to even see any person at my sight.

Oh god! I thought and continued to kick the person until he released me but pushed me onto the wall before pressing himself to me.

"You kick too hard, Riddhi." He said, smirking and my eyes widened, looking at the person, but before I could shout he closed my mouth.

*Shiv Pov*

"Looks like you took my advice, but it didn't work out." Charlie said walking towards me where I am standing holding a hard drink.

"Just get lost, Charlie." I said, glaring at him.

"Where is Riddhi? And where is Sam?" he suddenly asked looking around.

"Stop your taunts." I said, shaking my head but frowned looking at the worried expression on his face.

"Sailu was really angry from the holidays with your way of ignoring her. This is not at all good." He commented and I frowned but took the matter into serious.

I don't believe that Sailu is that malice to cause any harm to Riddhi but if her childhood friend can doubt then why can't I.

We both ran around and asked her friends about her, but no one knows about her and we heard a small scream when Jim made sure the music is stopped so that she can ehar our voice.

"What is it, Riddhi? I thought we both will be together if Shiv settles with Sailu but you didn't glance at me at all. I am more handsome than him and rich too, then why didn't you?" we heard Sam's voice and immediately took a few steps more to see him holding Riddhi to the wall and Sailu standing behind him smirking.

"Sam!" I shouted, pulling him away from her and started kicking him along with others.

"You bitch!" Rose shouted before launching herself onto Sailu.

"Riddhi! Are you fine?" that question made us come out of our rage and saw her shaking leaning on the wall.

"How dare she reject me? She is mine, Ok. She should have known that I always look at her. Otherwise, why would I even help this bitch?" Sam said standing up, brushing his blood away with his whole body shaking due to many punches on him.

"Shut up, Sam." Charlie said and punched him again after which he fell down completely unconscious.

"You are fine now." Rose said hugging her.

"What is all this Sailu?" I asked, glancing at her.

"Do you even need to ask? You are always thinking about her and are getting angry at me if I say anything about her. I am your girlfriend and will not spare it. She may have done that because she doesn't know about the relations, but I know." Sailu said glaring at him.

"She knows about the relations because of which she trusted Shiv, Sailu." Charlie said shaking his head.

"I don't care! Sam likes her and I like Shiv. It was better that way." She said stubbornly.

"So, you made both of us break up?" I asked her in shock to which she laughed.

"I will never forgive you for that." I added to which she just shook her head.

"Don't put that blame on Sailu, Shiv. It was done with your own hands. Who asked you to give importance to one month old friend than your seven years girlfriend?" Charlie asked staring at me.

"I just wanted everything to be normal." I said, knowing well he is telling the truth.

"Normality will not happen by itself, Shiv. You just let everything pass and took action at the wrong time. If you had fought that attraction to Sailu and tried to work on your relation then you don't know how happy you would have been." Charlie said and I nodded.

"Guys! This is Riddhi's life and no one has any right to discuss her." Rose shouted at us.

"Let's take her inside." Lisa said moving towards her.

"Riddhi!" I called when she passed us.

"Rose told me what happened. Thanks for saving me." She said in a shaky voice to both Charlie and me before walking away.

"I am going to hand him over to police." Jim said and warned Sailu before walking away holding Sam's collar.

"I thought you all are my best friends, Charlie. If you know what was happening then why didn't you tell me? That Sam tried to harm Riddhi whereas Sailu became a spectator for it. Why?" I asked him to which he shook his head.

"Because they are my best friends for many years and I was loyal to them. For the past few months I don't want to be that to them so I started distancing myself. I know when to be with whom and how." He said and I looked down in shame.

"What have I done, Charlie?" I asked, kneeling on the ground.

"At least learn from this mistake and your life is not over." That's all he said before walking away along with everyone while I stared at the house where she must be scared right now but I can't be with her because of the mistakes I did on my own.

Why was I so stupid and blind? I thought closing my eyes tightly and stayed there for a few minutes before leaving for the house.
