*Shiv Pov*

"Why do you think we are standing here like this?" Sailu asked back making me chuckle.

"How would I know?" I asked, brushing her hair away covering her face.

"I really like you, Shiv. And I am completely attracted to you." She stated making me stun in my moments.

"I know!" I replied after a few minutes.

"Who told you?" she asked frowning.

"Sam told me in the beginning itself. He even said you were hurt as I am already in a relationship." I replied to which she nodded sadly.

"I really wish I could kiss you but I won't do it. I am not that cheap to kiss someone else's boyfriend, but I just want to tell you my feelings." She said stepping back.

"Why do you still like me? One year is going to complete, Sailu." I said frowning at her.

"I just can't stop liking you and who knows you may like me someday. It's not like I am unattractive and we both seem to be knocking everything off perfectly. But I really wish I had met you when you are single. I wouldn't have stayed a moment away." She said taking another step back.

"But why me?" I asked, still not understanding why does she likes me when there are many others who are behind her.

"Why not? I can't say anything in a word. Maybe I should have stayed in your town and I am sure we would have been a couple way back too." She said smirking and I shook my head.

"Anyways, it is my bad luck and you are taken by some girl completely." She added and walked away while I stayed in the same place thinking about her words.

Is it really that simple to choose someone for the whole life? It was simple until we came here and stayed in that town, but now I don't know.

What if Riddhi and I are making a mistake with all these things and hurrying? I thought and immediately scolded myself.

What am I even thinking? How can we leave nearly a seven years of relation just like that? No! I shouldn't get any stupid thoughts.

*Riddhi Pov*

"Excuse me? Are you fine?" I heard the question and turned to see some guy standing near me.

"Yes!" I replied and stared outside brushing my tears away.

"By the way you are looking amazing." I heard the guy's next words and I turned to face him.

"Don't you dare stand here and lie. Just go away from here." I said, glaring at him.

"What is happening here?" I heard a girl's voice and turned to see her walking near to us before holding his hand.

So, he already has a girlfriend and is here. Do I have to get into some drama here or what? I thought, feeling the headache, increasing.

"I am just complimenting her and she is saying that I am lying." The guy said making me look at him in surprise.

"You are really looking great, dear." She said smiling at me.

"No! I am completely in the wrong attire." I said, shaking my head and brushed my tear away which slipped again.

"Why do you think that?" he asked frowning.

"Look at every girl and even her. Then ask me that question. I know I should have got myself a fashion dress which I did, but I am not feeling comfortable to step out of the house in it before anyone except my boyfriend." I replied and the girl comforted me.

"Then your boyfriend is lucky. Trust me!" she said, smiling.

"No! He must be feeling ashamed. God! I should have listened to him." I mumbled, rubbing my forehead.

"Then he is stupid." The guy said shaking his head.

"This is all the fault of the person who threw this party." I said suddenly feeling anger on this stupid person.

"Why?" the girl asked laughing.

"He is my senior which means he is a student. What is this party? Is this anything like a student's party? If he had acted like a student then everything would have been great." I replied and the girl laughed more clutching her stomach.

"What happened?" I asked her frowning.

"Apologize to her, Jim." She said turning towards the guy.

"I really should! By the way I am the host." He said and I understood what I have just done.

"I am so sorry." I whispered stepping back.

"It is ok!" he said, shaking his head and we three talked for sometime before I saw Shiv walked towards the main door looking around.

"I have to go and it is really nice meeting you both." I said, smiling at them and they nodded smiling.

"Where were you?" Shiv asked, frowning when I walked near to them.

"I was with the host and hostess." I replied smiling a little.

"Don't joke, Riddhi." Sailu said, laughing with their friends joining them along with Shiv.

"We haven't even seen them in this party and you were with them?" Sam asked rolling his eyes.

"Fine!" I mumbled, staring at Shiv, who controlled his laugh.

"Shall we go?" Charlie asked and I nodded before we all left.

"Are you still angry at me, Shiv?" I asked when we started walking towards our rooms.

"Let's just forget everything and concentrate on our exams." That's all he said, staring at me and I nodded.

He is right! Not even a week is left for the exams to start and we need to start our preparation soon.

After exams, we will just solve any issues we have and we will be fine. Who doesn't have any problem in any relation? I thought, nodding to myself.

"Have you seen shiv?" I asked a girl after five minutes searching for him, to which the guy pointed towards the parking lot.

I thought we will be normal during the exam time, but we were even more distant than before and every time I want to have a word with him, he just seems to be busy with studying.

However, now we will have so much time to talk as the exams are over and we have free time for nearly two months. Who knows, even my parents come close to me.

"We will have an awesome time for sure." I heard Sam's voice when I reached a little nearer to them.

"Yes! I just can't wait for tomorrow to go on this tour. I missed the last one, but not this." Shiv said excitingly.

He decided to go to the tour they planned? I thought and then shrugged because I too want to go with them this time.

"Hey!" I said, smiling at them and stood beside Shiv.

"You will come to the tour right? Did Shiv explain where it is?" Charlie asked smiling.

"I didn't know, but I will come." I replied, smiling and held Shiv's hand.

"Really? That is great and I hope you will be fine with trekking too." Sam said staring at me.

"I will learn and you guys are there to help me, right." I said and then felt Shiv removing his hand from mine.

"We will meet at Sailu's house after two hours like we planned and start tour from there." Shiv said and they nodded before he started walking towards the gate with me following him.

"I am also excited for this tour, Shiv." I said smiling when we entered our house.

He stopped at the living room and turned towards me. He stared at me in silence for a few minutes.

"We need to talk, Riddhi." He said with a blank expression.

"I know! Even I was waiting for the exams to finish before we had a talk which would solve our problems." I said nodding my head.

"No! I actually need to talk to you, Riddhi." He said again and I just frowned at him while waiting to hear his words.

"We did a mistake, Riddhi." He said when I stayed silent.

"Regarding what?" I asked him, frowning more not understanding him.

"Look, I really loved you but maybe we hurried into this without thinking much. I mean we must be the only ones nearer to the couple and drived into the relationship. We never met many people and there were never many in our town." He started saying while moving around.

"But here it is not the problem. We must have got settled with each other with no other options but we have many now." He added and turned to stare at me.

"What are you saying?" I asked him in a whisper and I am not even able to get those words out.

"We rushed, Riddhi. We are not for each other and I don't think we will be happy in this relation at all." He replied sighing.

"Seven years is rushing?" I asked him, frowning and then blinked a few times thinking all this is a nightmare or he must be joking.

"You are joking, right?" I asked him giving him a small awkward laugh.

"No! I know we spent too much time with each other, but there were no others to think about anyone else other than each other." He replied and I shook my head before placing my hand on the couch.

"Ok! We have a disturbance in our relationship. Why don't we work on it? You know we are for each other and forever right? We are everything for each other." I said after a few minutes.

"If we really are, then I wouldn't get attracted to some else, right?" he asked, staring at my face and I gasped covering my mouth.

"What?" I asked not believing his words at all and felt something gripping my heart and squeezing it tightly.

"Yes! I know I shouldn't have but I really am attracted to someone else. Which just shows we are not for each other." He replied and my hands shook.

"Who... who is it?" I asked even though I think I know the person and I was just giving it a blind eye.

"Sailu! She likes me too and that too from the beginning. I too, kind of like her, but that is not the thing I want to talk here. I think it is better to stop our relation right this moment. I don't want to cheat on you, Riddhi because I was a moment away from kissing her one day past month." He said and his words made my whole body shook.

"Do you even know what you are saying?" I asked him and felt like push him to somewhere for saying all those things to me.

"Yes! She is good for me too, Riddhi. We can't fight for everything and we both want something different in life." He replied, moving towards me but I shook my head.

"She is more perfect for you than me." I stated and he slowly nodded.

"You will understand once you sit and think about my words." He said in a slow tone.

"We are breaking up?" I asked again and he nodded.

"I will leave right now from the house and will be on tour until college starts. You can stay here until you can find another place or something and I already put some money in the envelope I placed on the kitchen counter. Please use that and you will not need for anything else." He replied and walked inside his room.

What is happening here? I thought holding my head and felt like everything is rushing around me.

We were fine, even today morning and we are supposed to be working on our relation from today right?

"Take care of yourself, Riddhi and this is for the best." He whispered, standing beside me facing the door while my back is towards it.

"You really don't love me?" I asked him in a weak voice.

"We just settled with each other, Riddhi. And I know we can't be in something in which we are not good for and get with something great." That's all he replied before walking away closing the door.

Did he just kick our relation taking away its whole value? I asked myself before collapsing on the floor not able to stand any longer.

"Shiv!" I screamed, holding my face hearing his each word and thought he uttered entering my head at a time.

"Shiv!" I screamed again rushing outside the house, but he already left leaving me all alone.
