*Riddhi Pov*

"I will just be back within a few minutes. Sam is calling me for something." Shiv mumbled pecking my cheek and gestured to the table where his friends are sitting.

I nodded, smiling and moved my legs more onto the grass, feeling great sitting under the tree.

We have been sitting here for lunch for the past week and enjoyed the moments completely.

I got really scared before two months regarding our relationship after his parents left, but it must be just a small bump in our relationship.

We were never better like this and are more than happy which is all we both need in the end. I smiled to myself and sighed, thinking how his mother too accepted me completely.

She is talking to me weekly once and even giving me a little news about my parents, which she is not knowing much but just a little.

I glanced at his friends' table to see them having a 'good time which is good. I don't want him to leave his friends at all.

I want him to be my boyfriend and friend to them. I glanced back at the sky wishing for these moments to stay with me forever and I will never ask anything else except for my parents' acceptance.

"Missed me?" I got startled and glanced to my side to see Shiv grinning at me.

"You scared me!" I mumbled slapping his hand.

"That's my job. Anyway, I just got the news that one of the senior is going to throw a big party and we are invited." He said smiling.

"Do we have to go?" I asked him groaning.

"Of course! You have been amazing attending many of them and this is very important. This one is known to be attended by popular and we are one." He replied holding my hand.

"I am popular?" I asked him in shock.

"Yes! You study well and our relation is also talk of the college in between." He replied shrugging.

"I didn't know at all." I mumbled in shock to which he laughed.

"Let's go!" he said, pulling me up.

"Where are we going?" I asked him frowning.

"Shopping! Sam and Sailu decided that it will be better to buy the dress today as there is only a day left for the party." He replied dragging me near to his friends.

"But I have dresses." I mumbled following him.

"This is not a simple matter. We need to be special in this party. I mean getting invited to this is a big thing." Sailu said raising her hands.

"It will be fun." Shiv said, assuring me and I nodded reluctantly.

"Ok! You both go and try on some dresses while we three will judge." Sam said, throwing some clothes into my hands and Sailu's.

"Wait to be amazed." Sailu said, winking at them and walked inside.

"What happened?" Shiv asked when I didn't move.

"I... I don't wear these types." I replied gesturing the dresses.

"Try them and you will like them. You need to start somewhere right." Shiv said, moving me towards the trail room.

"I will not be comfortable." I said pleading him.

"Just try!" he said, smiling and closed the door.

I took a deep breath and got into one before cringing at my image. These are so not for me and I already know that.

"Shiv!" I called for him opening the door slightly.

"What is it?" He asked and I slightly opened my door.

"Wow! You are looking gorgeous." He said grinning.

"No! I am feeling like I am not wearing anything." I mumbled shaking my head.

"Trust me! Come out and ask their opinion." He said, holding my hand.

"No!" I nearly screamed, taking my hand away.

"I can stand before you and let you see this but not anyone. I will die before standing before someone." I said, shaking my head in negative.

"I am honored, but you need to come out." He said, shaking his head in stubborn.

"Listen, I cannot do this." I said pleading him.

For the next few minutes the conversation continued and then heard his friends calling him.

"I will wear something else like my saree or others." I said sighing with tiredness.

"Are you mad? We are going to a party, Riddhi. Why are you so stubborn and adjust to the trend we are living in?" he suddenly shouted making me step back.

"Shiv!" I heard Charlie calling him and he walked away shaking his head while I felt myself shaking up.

I removed the dress and walked out the trail room before joining them where Shiv is standing with a angry expression.

"Shiv!" I whispered to which he didn't even gave a glance.

"You are looking amazing, Sailu." I heard his voice and turned to see her standing in a beautiful gown.

I thought I was looking like that for him right? I shook my head and continued to look at the dresses she is trying continuously.

"I think this is the one." Sam said to which she glanced at us.

"What do you say, Shiv?" Sailu asked smiling.

"No one will look away." He replied grinning.

"Great! I will take this then. Did you get your dress?" she asked, turning towards me.

"She didn't want any." Shiv replied for me.

"Oh! That's really sad. Anyway, let's leave soon." She said, hurrying inside the room and changed into her dress.

"Shiv!" I called him again, but he didn't give any heed to my calls.

"I shouldn't have shouted at you." He mumbled when we walked inside our house.

"I was really not comfortable." I said again to which he nodded before walking in his room while I walked into mine hearing the lock.

I cannot wear something in which I am not comfortable even if he wishes for it so much in front of others. I can bear it before him, but not anyone else.

*Shiv Pov*

"Looking great, Shiv." Sam said, passing the champagne glass to me.

"What is this? A business party?" I asked him, frowning looking at the arrangements.

"We were not joking when we said about the party. The guy is damn rich and every girl wants him, but he is committed for the past five years." Charlie replied smiling.

"Where is Riddhi?" Sam asked, looking behind me.

"We decided to be here soon right? So, I came early as she is getting ready." I replied before turning around to stare at the other guests.

"Even Sailu said she will come late." Sam said nodding his head.

"I am waiting to see her in the dress she bought with all the make-up and everything." Charlie said grinning.

"Like Shiv said, no one will be able to look away and he is right." Sam said gesturing us towards the main door.

She is definitely looking amazing and no one is looking away from him. It seems like even I can't look away from her.

"Wow!" I whispered when she reached near us.

"I know!" she said, smirking and stood beside me.

"There is your girlfriend." Sam said and I turned to see her walking inside wearing some Saree but I just shook my head.

"This is old Saree right?" I whispered when she walked near to me.

"They are so costly here and this is really great. And do you remember..." she continued, but I showed my hand stopping her.

"We will talk later." I said, walking back near my friends.

"Looking nice." Charlie commented and she nodded smiling.

"The dancing just started." Sam commented and we can see couples going to the floor.

"Dance?" Riddhi asked forwarding her hand smiling.

"Sure!" I replied and pulled her to the floor before dancing to a slow song.

"Am I looking good?" She asked, smiling staring at my face.

"Ok!" I replied, shrugging.

"Are you still angry?" she asked in a whisper.

"Don't you know we shouldn't talk about those here?" I asked back, to which she stilled before stepping back after which I felt a tap.

"Have a dance with me, handsome." Sailu said, holding my hand to which I smiled and started dancing with her.

"Was I really looking that great?" she asked smiling.

"No one could say in words." I replied after which I heard a gasp and turned to my side to see Riddhi.

"Thank you!" Sailu replied, but I stared at Riddhi walking away towards Sam and Charlie.

"Do you not want to dance?" Sailu asked and I turned to glance at her before glancing again at Riddhi.

"It is nothing like that." I replied, smiling to which she returned and continued to dance concentrating on her and forgetting other things completely.

"I am feeling a little suffocation and tired with all the stares. Can we go somewhere?" Sailu asked after three songs.

"Sure!" I replied and we both walked near to the balcony where there is not much crowd.

"So?" I asked turning towards her and she smiled before moving near to me holding my hand.

"What is it?" I asked still smiling and all she did was smile a little more tugging my hand to herself.
