3rd point of view
Anastasia and Ayla stayed with Gerald and Yasmin for a couple days. Gerald has been communicating with Alex but she never respond his calls. As the days were going by fast Ayla's graduation was coming. Ayla wants Alex to go to be present at her graduation. One night Gerald was leaving out of the studio, he decided to go to Alex's house. He called her but it went straight to voicemail. He called Yasmin to make sure the girls were fine. But it was the same answer with the girls if Alex was going to be there. He told Yasmin he would be home in an hour.

He arrived to Alex's house. The lights were all out. Something always off. He went to the door. He rang the bell. No one answered. There was no way she wasn't home. We went to the the door that had a way to the backyard. He found a way to jump over it. He was in the backyard. He opened the glass door that opened to the kitchen. "Yo Alex." He calls her but no answer "Alex where are you? Alex, the girls have been asking for you. They're worried about you." He checked the living and dining room "I'm worried. Yasmin is also worried." He goes up stairs, to the rooms. The girls room were dark. He sees the light shining n the ground and the door mid open. Gerald walks close to the room. He opens it and sees Alex in the floor. "Oh shit Alex." He goes to the ground and puts her on his lap "Hey hey. Alex wake up." He was waking her up but wasn't reacting "shit what the fuck did you do?" She was unconscious. Her body was light as a feather "come on stay with me. Stay with me." He gets her phone and starts dialing 911. He was panicking as he was talking with the operator. He felt her pulse as if she was okay but her pulse was going out. "Alex don't fucking die on me." He picks her up and sees blood and medication bottles with pills fell out of the bottle. "What the fuck do you do Alex?" The ambulance came. Gerald carries her out there before they came. The paramedics asked if he was related to her but he said she was the mother of his kid. They didn't let him go with her. "Fuck! Alex what did you do?" He gets his phone and calls Yasmin. He tells her what Alex did and how did he found her. She couldn't believe it. Gerald told her not to say anything to the girls but he'll be posting her on anything. He hangs up and goes to his car and drives off to the hospital.

Meanwhile Yasmin was worried for Alex. Before in the past Alex and her never had a good bond towards each other but they grew that over the time. Anastasia and Ayla were in the room waiting for yasmin. "Yassie!" Anastasia calles her "are you coming?"
"Yea, I'm just getting some water." She brought bottles of water and her phone. She goes up to the room "so what did I miss?"
"Nothing much honestly. I don't get why you and dad like these kind of movies." Anastasia said "these are some kind of old people vibes. I'm just saying no offense."
"Stassie chill that's dad and yassie type of movies." Ayla told Anastasia "it's cool they have there vibe and we have our vibe."
"You know I like romantic movies and a little bit of comedy. But your dad likes these kind of movies." Yasmin respond "you know that's the kind of style he likes."
"Mom likes the same things as us." Anastasia said "I really want mom to go to your graduation." Ayla hugged Anastasia "I want her to get better. The stuff we lived.. I can still remember how my grandmother treated mom. She tried well kidnapped me once. I cried and cried to be back with you and mom. And she was raped from one of my uncles. She said repeatedly how she didn't want to live anymore. Coming back here was the only thing it would be better. It was hell with them Ayla." She cried. "I wished dad was here to defend us against them."
"Hey Stassie it's okay. We're safe now. They will never hurt us never ever again. Mom is going to a rough time trying to relive her life again. I'm here, and it's okay, dad and Yasmin are here with us." Ayla hugged her. "We will never go back ever again."
"I had a bad dream. The other night. Mom was at the house. She was on the floor of her bathroom back in our home, she was laying there, her skin was cold. She wasn't reacting and I found her there alone. You weren't there. And mom.." she cried more of pain.
"It's okay Stassie that's isn't going to happen." Ayla looks at Yasmin "can you call dad."
"Yes I will." She hugs the girls "do you wanna sleep in our rooms tonight or should we stay here with you guys?"
"Stay here with us." Anastasia respond "i don't want to be alone anymore."
"Okay I'll call dad." She gets up and calls Gerald. She couldn't believe what she heard from Anastasia. Ayla left the room "we lived a horrible life in Australia. The times when you and dad came to pick us up it was like an escape and freedom from that hell. They tortured us a lot especially me mostly mom. I don't remember much but Stassie lived throughout it a lot. When mom finally got her back she was relieved that's when it was time to come back home. Mom still blames herself for everything that has happened. I just want Stassie to live a better life than I did. She doesn't deserve this."
"I know Ayla. Both of you don't deserve this. your mom...I'm sorry." Yasmin begins to cry "I just hate seeing you and Stassie like this." She heard Gerald voice on the phone. She told him to come home. He need to talk with the girls especially Anastasia.

Gerald was in the hospital. The doctors told him that Alex is responding. She overdosed herself with pills and the blood was the nosebleed she had when she fell and made her hit her head. What they declared that Alex is in a coma. At this moment they couldn't say if she was going to make it or not. When he received the phone call from Yasmin and telling him to come home it wasn't good.

He arrived home. Yasmin was there in the couch. She was in tears. She gets up and hugs Gerald. "Hey what happened? Why are you crying?"
"Oh Gerald. I can't see them in pain. Stassie and Ayla have lived in fear and pain while they were living in Australia. Please go talk with Stassie."
"What about Ayla? What did those people do to her?"
"She doesn't remember anything." She wiped off the tears and sniffed "Stassie is so afraid. If you were they to hear. Baby I couldn't handle it. What did they say about Alex?"
"She's overdosed herself with pills. When I went to go to see her, I found her on the ground, bottles of pills and pills out there. Her body was cold and light. Doctors don't know if she'll ever wake up. She's so pale. They don't know how much she take. At the moment they declared her in a state of coma."
"Oh god. How are we going to tell the girls? Especially Stassie."
"I'm not sure. But what happened? What did they tell you?"
"Stassie confessed to Ayla and I heard. She said her grandmother treated Alex horribly. She kidnapped stassie once and didn't want to give her back to Alex. She cried and cried to be back with alex and Ayla. Alex was raped from one of Stassie's uncles. She said over and over again how she didn't want to live anymore. Coming back here was the only thing it would be better for them. It was hell being with them and living there. Ayla told me they lived a horrible life in Australia. The times when we went to pick them up it was like an escape and freedom from that hell. They tortured them a lot especially Ayla mostly alex. Ayla doesn't remember much but Stassie lived throughout it a lot. When Alex  finally got Stassie back she was relieved that's when it was time to come back home. Alex still blames herself for everything that has happened. Ayla wants Stassie to live a better life than she did. She doesn't deserve this." He couldn't believe what he was hearing. "We can't let them feel this way. Adapt the girls. I know Ayla is an adult but adapt Stassie."
"I should go talk with them." He gets up from the couch. Yasmin follows him. He went to the room both of them were asleep as the television was on. Gerald turns off the television and covers the girls with a blanket. "I won't anyone hurt you guys not in my watch." They turn off the light and leave the room. They went to the kitchen "is that everything they said?"
"Stassie had a dream. A bad dream. The other night. Alex was at the house. She was on the floor of her bathroom back in their home, she was laying there, her skin was cold. She wasn't reacting and Stassie found her there alone. No one was there. She was there alone. God what if Stassie or Ayla found Alex that way instead of you? They would be traumatized. I think we should get them a therapist or some kind of help."
"I know you're worried about them but we can't just give them this because they would feel like more scared. Let's let them come to us." Gerald told Yasmin "now we have to be there for them and Alex." Gerald was scared as a parent knowing and not knowing what might of happened with his daughters.

That same night everyone was sleeping. Gerald woke up when he heard a scream. He was breathing of sacredness. Yasmin woke up. "What? Are you okay?"
"Did you hear? It was a scream. Like a girls scream." He gets up from bed "I think it was Stassie." He leaves his room and runs to the girls room. He sees Anastasia and Ayla awake. "Are you guys okay?"
"Stassie had a bad dream again." Ayla answer "she screamed and that was what woke me up." He walks in the room.
"I seen mom..she was in a hospital bed...she's...she's fighting for her life. Her skin is pale and cold." Gerald sits down on the bed and hugs Anastasia. She was shaking "mom's dying. She wanted to take her life and she doesn't want us to know. That's why she has us here. Why does she has us here? Please answer me!" She cried and begged. "Tell me she's okay. She's healthy and she wants to be with us!" Anastasia hugs Gerald. Ayla couldn't bare to see her sister in pain.

Yasmin enters the room. "I'll get some water." Yasmin said. Ayla got up.
"I'll go with you yas." Ayla leaves with Yasmin. They went to the kitchen. "I tried to calm her down. She scared so bad. She was saying in her sleep this isn't real. Over and over again. After he scream she was crying. That's when I went to hug her. She needs help. We both need help."
"I told your dad about that. He says not to give you guys the help you need until you tell us because he didn't want you guys to think we're crazy or trying to scare you both."
"I'm telling you, we need help. We do. We don't want to live like this. I don't want my sister to be like this." Ayla told Yasmin. She was basically begging for help to Yasmin "what's really going on with mom? Tell me the truth. No bullshit. Between us we never keep secrets." Yasmin promised Gerald he wasn't going to say anything to the girls "I'm begging you Yasmin. Do it for us."
"You father told me not to say anything to you or Stassie. sorry Ayla." She felt the guilt inside of her "I'm sorry Ayla I can't."
"Please." Then Yasmin seen Anastasia out of the room.
"Yasmin please tell us what's going on with my mother. Why don't you both wanna tell us what's going on?" Anastasia said. "I want to know she's okay." Gerald comes out of the room. "Tell us."
"Your mom is at the hospital. She overdosed herself with pills. I went to go see her if she was okay and to see if she wanted to go to the graduation and a small dinner I was planning for Ayla. I found her in her room laying there, she was pale and cold. Doctors don't know if she'll wake up so now she's in the state of coma." Gerald explain to the girls. Ayla was crying. Anastasia was hurt. She hugged Gerald as she cried in pain "I told Yasmin to not say anything to neither of you."

An hour past by. Anastasia and Ayla calmed down. Gerald told them they were staying here until Alex was full recovered. Yasmin was in her room. Ayla was in the room drinking tea that Yasmin made her and Anastasia. Anastasia was sleeping in her bed. Gerald was sitting on the edge her bed as he was helping her fall asleep. He looks at Ayla "get some rest. I'll take care of Stassie. You have a big day tomorrow at school."
"Don't worry about me dad. I'll take care of her. That's always been my job taking care of Stassie."
"What happened there? What happened after I and Yasmin dropped you and Stassie off to your moms? What happened when I'm never there?"
"Dad I wish I can tell you but I can't remember anything. As much as I want to know I can't. Stassie lived more shitty times than me. Mom was a mess at Australia. That's the only thing I can remember." He gets up from the bed. He gets the blanket and covers Anastasia. He squats down to see Anastasia face as she was asleep. "Dad I already told this to Yasmin and I'm telling you now, we need help. Professional help. Anything because I don't want myself or my sister to fear in life."
"Yeah, I'll get you and Stassie need. I won't let anyone hurt you both because you guys are my life now. You, Stassie and Yasmin are my life now." He kisses Anastasia in the forehead "I can promise you that." He goes to Ayla. "You should get some sleep. Let me tuck you in bed."
"Dad am I a little to old for that?" Ayla told Gerald. He smiled at her "I don't want to go to college or move away from you and mom. If mom doesn't get better can me and Stassie live here?"
"Yes you both can live here but your mom will recover. I know her. She's the strongest women I ever met." He helps Ayla get ready for bed "and no your not that old for letting me tick you in bed because you'll be my little girl. Like Stassie is my little girl as well." She gets comfortable in her bed. "I will be in my room with Yasmin awake if you or Stassie need anything." Ayla nods her head yes "get some sleep. Good night." He kisses her forehead and turns off the light. He gets the cup from the night stand and leaves the room. He doesn't close the door. He goes to the kitchen and leaves the cup in the sink.

Yasmin was in the room and Gerald walked in. "Are they better now?" She asked as he mid closed the door. "Poor girls. It breaks my heart seeing them like that."
"Me too. They're better now. Stassie is the one I'm worried now. Ayla she's a strong girl like Alex. But I know she deep down hurting too but she can't say it. Tomorrow morning after I drop off the girls to school I'll call Matt and explain all of this and to get me the best therapist for the girls."
"I'll go see Alex tomorrow after you leave. I'll info you if anything comes up."
"Thank baby, you didn't have to take all this with me."
"I did because I wanted to. I know how much you care about the girls. That's what I love about you Gerald that's why I wanted to get married with you." She kisses him. "I'll be by your side always."
"I know you do. Get some rest. I'll be up for the night." Yasmin fell asleep. Gerald stayed up all night in case if Anastasia or Ayla wake up again.

Gerald didn't get much sleep that night. As much as the girls are hurt and worried of Alex he felt the same way because he was scared to lose his first love once again.
