Adebayo,Temilola,Adeire and Modurotoluwa ran to Adebola's room when they heard her scream. They saw a box on her bed and Adebola resting her head on her knees. She was shaking Vigorously.
"Mummy!!!" Modurotoluwa cried out as she ran to her mother.
Adebola looked up and saw her daughter. She clean her eyes immediately and smiled.
"Baby,why are you not sleeping?"
"Mummy, why are you crying?" Modurotoluwa said close to tears.
"I am not crying. Something entered my eyes."
"Mommy....why..."
" Modurotoluwa, its late, you have school tomorrow,Don't worry, you will talk to mummy very well tomorrow, " Adeire said as she gently dragged Modurotoluwa away from her mum.
"But ......" Modurotoluwa protested.
"C'mon we have to go,"Adeire said as she dragged her.
When they were out of sight, Adebayo said,
" This is getting out of hand. We have to do something about it, "
"What are the detectives doing? Nothing must happen to my daughter ooo," Temilola said.
"I will call the inspector general of police first thing tomorrow morning," Adebayo said.
"Daddy, hope he will not come after my daughter? I don't want anything to happen to her,"
"We are going to change her school tomorrow. She will have special body guards. I will personally take her to her school tomorrow," Adebayo said.
"I suggest that you resume work. This house is not safe for now. We also need special security," Aderenle said and they all nodded.

"Good morning my special sweet heart," Adebayo said as he hugged his Grandchild.
Modurotoluwa was the apple of everyone eyes in the Adeleke's family. They were all dressed and was getting ready for breakfast. Modurotoluwa came downstairs later than the others. Her hair was neatly plaited into cornrows designed with hair beads. Adeire had taken her to a salon the day before to make her hair.
"Modurotoluwa come and eat your food before it gets cold," Adebola said.
Modurotoluwa went to the dining table holding her Grandfather's hand.
"I want to sit beside Grandpa," She said joyfully as she pulled the seat close to her grandfather.
In a short time, they were all seated on the dining table eating their food. Aderenle noticed that Modurotoluwa was patiently removing the onions from her eggs.
"Why are you removing the onions?"He asked inquisitively.
"I don't like onions," She replied.
"They are good for your health,"
"I don't want it,"
Aderenle smiled mischievously and said,
"Fine, if you don't eat it,I will tell everybody about Timi,"
"How do you know about Timi?" Adeire and Modurotoluwa chorused.
"I overheard," He said smiling.
"Why will you eavesdrop? It was a girl talk."
"So?"
"Aderenle!!!!! It is not funny. Even if our voices were loud, you could have just ignored it,"Adeire scolded and Modurotoluwa nodded in support.
Aderenle laughed and said,
" I didn't want to,"
"Just admit it that you wanted to do amebo," Adeire said.
"That is not amebo, I did not do it intentionally,"
"Continue to lie. Seriously, I don't know why you are laughing because it is not funny," Adeire said and Aderenle continued to laugh.
"That's enough. Aderenle, apologize to them," Temilola ordered.
"But mum,it was a honest mistake,"
"Liar," Adeire said.
"Keep quiet!!!!!! Aderenle I said you should apologize," Temilola said.
" I am sorry," He said and Adeire laughed.
Adebola beat him at his back playfully and said,
"Don't blackmail my daughter again."

"Good morning sir," Helena said immediately Aderenle entered the office.
"Good morning," He replied.
Helena was wearing a pink shirt with high waist black skirt and black heels. She was looking tired and Aderenle noticed.
"Are you okay?" He asked concerned.
"Yes sir," She replied and He nodded.
He entered his office and looked her Helena through the transparent door. Her head was bent on the desk.
He dialed her telephone number and saw the way she reluctantly picked up.
"Come to my office, now" He ordered. He watched as she stood up and walked slowly to his office.
"Are you okay?"
"Yes sir," She replied slowly.
Aderenle stood up and moved closer to her.
"You don't look okay to me," He said.
"But I am," She replied nodding her head. As she was nodding her head, he noticed a red bruise on the side of her face that was neatly covered with her hair. He moved closer to her and brushed her hair away from the bruise.
"Who did this to you?"
"Er..... Nobody ,I was just cooking and hot water splashed on my body." She said stammering.
"Really? If you want to lie,You can come up with a better one. Someone did this to you and I need to know the person,"
"Sir, if I tell you, it will just worsen the situation," Helena said close to tears. Aderenle pulled a seat for her and she sat down while he sat on the desk.
"You can trust me on this, I won't tell anyone or do anything unless you want me to," He said gently.
"My……………………er…… boyfriend. He does all bad stuff to me. He collects all my money and he beats me whenever I disobey him," Helena said admits sobs.
Aderenle moved closer to her as he used his hand to pat her back.
"Do you want me to step in? I can report him to the police and he will be arrested,"
"No no no,he said if I try it, he will find a way out and he will kill me."
Aderenle looked at her in the eye and said,
"He won't, I promise, you worth more than this. You are not a lady so that you will be beaten by men. You are a lady because you are meant to stand tall and shine. You don't deserve all this. If you keep quiet, he can always kill you. Don't waste your life because of a guy. If you die,his life will continue." Aderenle said.
"But I love him,"
"You don't love him,you pity him. They are two different things. When you are ready to take an action, just tell me, okay?" He said and she nodded.
"Have you eaten?" He asked and she shook her head.
"Just sit here, I will go and get you something to eat,"
" Thank you sir,"

Detective Olaoluwa slammed his fist on the table. He just heard that his mother was dead. She was the only one he had in the world. As he stood up to go to the hospital, He saw Adebola approaching his office. He sighed and he sat down back on his seat.
"Hi, I am Adeleke Adebola. I came because you said you wanted to interview me,"
"I am sorry but you have to reschedule this appointment," He declared.
"Why? You told me to come today. My life is at stake here," Adebola said in anger.
"I am so sorry for the inconvenience but I have something more important to attend to,". Detective Olaoluwa said gently.
" What the hell is wrong with you? I am not joking here. My life is at stake. Is it more money you want? Or you need a new car,a new house? Just name it and please start investigating," Adebola said raising her voice.
"Not everything is about your money, sometimes you have to understand others too," He said as he walked out of his office.
"The nerve of that guy,". She said as she scoffed. She moved out of the office and went to the restroom.
As she was washing her hand, she heard two ladies talking.
" Can you believe that that woman shouted at Mr Olaoluwa because he told her to reschedule the appointment, "
"Are you serious, is it because she is rich or what?"
"That aside,Mr Olaoluwa's mother died this morning and you know how that man values his mother. She didn't even care, she just shouted at him,"
"Don't mind her jare,"
Adebola felt bad when she heard this words and ran out to see if she would meet Olaoluwa, so she could apologize but she found out that he had gone.

"Chinonso be serious, did you run from santa Claus," Adeire said laughing hard.
"It was in the past,"
"Whatever," Adeire said still laughing. Chinonso looked at his wristwatch and said,
"My time's up. I need to go now,"
"So fast? Don't go yet, if you go I will be bored," She whined.
"But....."
"Pleaeeeee"
"Fine,just thirty minutes,"
"Thank you. You are the best therapist in the world,"
Adeire said smiling. She was getting fond of him. There was this feeling that she felt whenever she was with him. Could it be love? Did he feel the same way?
