This is a story where Jade is a girl, whose family is kinda old-fashioned.

Me wondering: Where the hell did I get that one from?

So she is treated like a child in ancient times, never getting freedom from studying or household chores. The only new thing that they have gained from their surroundings is that education is important. Her mom wants her to become an engineer with straight A's and Jade is trying to fulfill her mother's dream. But everyone has their own dream, no matter how obedient they are.
