She has an altercation with her mom and leaves home. She goes to a family member's house and stays there until things went a bit south there as well. Before it went south she was able to go to prom and graduated. Before graduation she patched things up a bit with her mom. They weren’t perfect but it was ok. She lived with her family member for some time and started working. 

One night she was locked out and walked to her boyfriend's house. An agreement was made for her to stay at her boyfriend's house for the summer, just until she worked. Two weeks later her family member packed her things and told her to go get them. She ended up living with her boyfriend at seventeen. 

A few months later, her father was released. He was living a few blocks away. Things were ok in her life though. At that point she found a good job and made her way into an assistant manager position, at only eighteen years old. She was very proud of herself and so was her dad. She felt the love and she was happy that he cared. For a while she and her boyfriend would hang out with him. 

Then things changed again. Over something he had no right in being upset about. One thing about her was that you can’t try preaching to someone things that you don't live by. So he was upset and apparently she was no longer his child.
