Ice

after another day at the safe house we all headed back to the society building.

How the Conquerers even knew about December 1st is still bothering me but I make sure not to show it. Of course you cant fool a snooping mind reader.

I grunted once again as the cells were revived but with no power properties. "we've been at it for how long now an all it does is eliminate the poison but it still doesn't return the powers" Lee groaned.

I sighed taking off my lab coat. "Lets call it a day" I looked at my watch and saw it said 6PM.

"I guess" Lee took off her lab coat. I walked out the lights automatically turning off and the door locking itself.

We were walking to meet the others when I got a frantic message. 'Ice come to the loby quickly' Vanessa said frantically.  I know Lee heard because she ran towards the loby me following.

We ran into the loby seeing it mostly deserted but two of the agents were holding up a beat up agent, he looks like a level B.

"whats wrong?" I asked Vanessa who was in front of the boy. 

"he just teleported in here like this, He says that him and his friends were ambushed when they went into the pawn shop downtown." Vanessa stated.

"its the same place Derek and I suspected where one of the Conquerers base was" Chris stated. well at least he got out in time, who knows what they could have done- wait

"didn't you say your friends were with you?" I turned to him. He nodded yes "I was sent to get help, their still in there." He breathed out.

I took out the gun in my hostler. "what level?" I asked him.

"two Level B and one level C" He wheezed out before fainting. "take him to the infermary" I told the two agents who scurried out.

"we need to go before they do even more damage." I said running towards the door. I got out of the building and went towards one of my black jeeps I've kept here.

"Derek put the location in" I told him putting on my seat belt. He came in next to me pressing the button on the radio making a screen appear entering the information.

I turned around to see Chris and Lee behind me and Vanessa and Phil in the seat behind them. "Vanessa check the back compartment for some weapons, I think I have a machine gun in there" I muttered the last part driving out.

"found it" Vanessa held up a machine gun in the rearview mirror as I drove towards the location.

I saw Lee, Phil and Chris looking shocked. "how you fit a machine gun back there is beyond me" I heard Lee mutter. I couldn't but chuckle before doing a sharp turn.

I heard a bump. "hey watch it, I'm holding granades here and I do not want that to be the last thing I do."Vanessa complained.

"here" she handed the greanades that were on a belt holder to Lee. "careful" Vanessa stated before rummaging throught the back.

"finally" she held up a katana. 

Phil beside her stared  wide eyed. "ok where are you getting these from?!" He asked gesturing to the machine gun Chris held, the grenade  belt Lee put on and the katana Vanessa was holding.

"oh the back compartment" She pointed behind still admiring the katana. Phil stared at her weirdly before turning around, looking in the back.

"holy shit" He came back up holding  two brass knuckles. " someone get me a gun" Derek spoke.

"hold on" Vanessa put down her katana turning towards the compartement. "here you go" She tossed him two guns.

"thank you" He put them in his holder.

"can I get that for christmas." Phil asked pointing towards the compartment. "we'll see" I parked a couple blocks away from our destination.

"lets go" I caught a gun inches from my face when I closed the door. "thanks" I nodded towards Vanessa before hiding it from people passing by.

We walked towards the pawn shop. I looked throught the glass and saw you couldn't see inside. that and the closed sign was on. figures.

''Vanessa, Phil, Lee go in from the back, Chris,Derek and I will go in in the front.' I told them in their minds. The other three went towards the back while we went from the front.

I picked the lock on the door before entering quietly. It was dark inside but I saw the outline of the counter along with jewelries but no one was here.

I walked behind the counter towards the back. suddenly I heard a bang and a scream of pain. suttlety forgotten I ran into the back gun ready.

"stay back or else she dies" I heard a mans voice.

"let her go then we'll be on our way" I heard Vanessa's voice, soon I saw them as I looked  around the corner.

Vanessa, phil and Lee along with two others behind them, must be the agents we came here for.

where is the other one. oh never mind, I saw a man with his back from me holding a gun to a girls head along with five more by his side gun raised.

"like I haven't tried that one before" The man snorted. Vanessa made eye contact with me before turning away.

"you got me but seriously let her go" She spoke to the man. I used the time to put silencers on my guns.

"how about no" The man spoke, I could hear the smirk in his voice. I put on the silencers on both guns and aimed at the mans heart from the back.

"suite yourself" Vanessa shrugged making eye contact. 'do it' she spoke in my mind.

with that I fired. the man fell to the ground dead. before any of them could recover I shot two more guys.

we all took cover as shots were fired. 'do not afford to get hit those bullets are deadly' I spoke in everyones mind including the agents we saved.

I took off my silencers not carring where they end up. I got up from my hiding spot which was a desk. I jumped on the desk and jumped in the air dodging bullets as I fired in midair.

It was then the gunfires stilled but I didn't dare come out.

Just then the girl that was held hostage got up from her hiding spot gun in hand. That idiot.

I ran towards her to bring her down and out of the open. just when I pushed her I heard two gun shots. I turned around to see one of the men with a gun pointed.

at me.

I reacted quickly dodging to the right as he fire again before I fired my own gun getting him right between his eyes I froze as I felt a burning pain.

I looked down and saw blood coming out of the side of my left thigh and stomach. perfect.

at least I took them all out. I sighed one hand on my stomach still holding a gun to put pressure on the wound. man those cyrums hurt like hell.

"Ice look out" I heard Chris yell coming towards me gun pointed towards my direction. Suddenly I heard a gunshot and felt the same burning pain on my shoulder. I heard another gunshot and felt the air shift as a bullet wheezed by my head but I paid no mind as I was frozen my eyes widenned.

I felt a burning sensation start from the two wounds from my thight and stomach speading a few minutes later the same happened to my shoulder. 

Soon I felt weak and the pain began to feel unbearable.

It all happened in slow motion.

I heard a couple more gun shots.

one of the guns from my right slipped from my hands falling to the ground making a loud noise freezing them all.

I collasped on my knees still holding my stomach wound with my left hand where the gun also fell from my hands.

everything in me was on fire it was unbearable but I couldn't scream, I was frozen in shock and it seemed like everyone was also.

I coughed two times felling something warm around my lips. I felt it drip down and saw something drip on the floor. blood.

everyone else came out of their shock as I began coughing uncontrolably my wounds no my whole body in pain.

"Ice stay with us" I felt someone pick me up bridal style.

My eye sight was getting foggy, black spots entering my vision. I heard yells but all words were muffled.

I swear if I live throught this-

hey sorry for not updating early, in my defense I update pretty much everyday so you cant complain about this.

anywho, it was birthday on sunday so I took a two day break. Happy Birthday to me.
