Ice

suddenly she just stopped. she froze a couple of inches from my throat.

she was frozen for a second before backing up standing straight, her arms returning to normal and her eyes went from red to the ususal purple.

suddenly her and the ice around the room cracked exploding into snowflakes my headache stopping. as I watched the sudden events I caught a glance of my watch.

It was midnight. I couldn't help the small smile on my lips. December first passed. its over. with that I blacked out with nothing holding me back.

We tried to stop her clone from getting to Ice, but damn she's strong.

I watched in horror as she brought her now sharpened arms towards Ice's throat. none of us could make it in time but suddenly she froze a few inches from Ice's throat.

she stepped back standing straight her arms returning to normal along wit her eyes whose color returned to purple. I sighed in relief, Ice is still alive.

Then the ice around the room along with her pretty much exploded into snow flakes. It was beatiful too bad I didn't really pay attention.

"Ice!" I called out walking towards her. I got closer and saw that she was unconcious.she must be really tired.

"I told her not to push herself" Derek sighed picking her up bridal style. I just let it go for now.

We all walked towards the elevator when I suddenly felt my side ache. I lifted my shirt to show a big black bruise. ouch.

Derek layed Ice on the couch in the living room as we got off the elevator. "I'll get the first day kit" Lee ran out. one minute later she came back "in the guest bathroom" Vanessa stated as she ran back in.

Lee ran back out again to come back with a first day kit setting it down on the table. Vanessa opened it and took out and took out bandages, a clear liquid and some cotton balls. "can you get some Ice packs?" She asked no one in particular. again Lee ran out to bring back with five ice packs, she left again to come back with five more.

"everything is ready" Vanessa stated as she put everything out. she came towards me with the clear liquid and cotton balls. "lift your shirt up" she commanded. I lifted it up without an argument wincing from the pain.

"ouch, ok we need to disinfect that" she stated staring at the bruise. taking off my shirt she turned around to pour some of the clear liquid into one of the cotton balls. "ok this was made by Ice, It might hurt a little but it works." I just nodded.

She wiped the cotton ball on my bruise and let me just say hurt a little my ass. that thing hurts like hell. I hissed as she wiped it all over the bruise. soon she moved back reaching towards the bandages.

"that does not hurt a little" I breathed out still in pain. "sorry, if I told you how much it really hurt, I dont think you would want to take it" she said sheepishly.

"damn right I wouldn't" I glared at her. "yeah yeah" she wrapped the baldages around my torso and my bruise. "here" she handed me an icepack when she was finish. I looked at the Icepack then her, who knows what else she isn't telling me.

"it'll ease the pain" she rolled her eyes. I took the ice pack putting it on the bruise over the bandage. huh it does ease the pain.

"holy mother of-" I heard Phil hiss out before Lee hit his head. I looked and saw that she was applying the same clear liquid on his fist. That has got to hurt.

"there" Lee wrapped a bandage around both bandages handing him an Ice pack which he put over a cut on his head. Vanessa sighed sitting next to me putting an Icepack on her head. why does she need that.

"I've got a killer headache. her telepathy was out of control, its hard fighting when you feel sudden pain you know" she groaned. ok then.

I looked over at Ice to see Derek wiping her forehead with a wet towel before placing an ice pack on it. even when she's unconcious she looks tense.

Derek sat down sighing bringing a cotton ball toward his right arm which I saw had a long cut. "oh I hate this" I heard him mutter before wiping the cotton ball on the bruice wincing.

looks like we were all injured. I yawned feeling sleepy, I looked at a clock nearby and saw that it was one in the morning. I didn't even notice with all the bright lights around. I yawned again my eyes feeling heavy. maby if I took a little nap.

I woke up yawning. I looked out the window to see it was morning. "more like afternoon" A familiar voice stated making me jump. surprisingly my bruise didn't hurt.

"thats because you used my cyrum." Ice said coming towards me. "stop reading my mind and shouldn't you be resting?" I asked her.

"I'm fine" she crouched in front of me. she was staring where my bruise was under the bandage making me uncomfortable. suddenly she started taking off the bandage. "what are you doing?" I asked grabbing her hand.

"relax" She ran her finger on my chest. Surprisingly I relaxed and let go of her. what is she doing to me.

I returned to my senses when I felt the bandage off of me. "hey what-" I stopped as I stared at the bruise, or where it was. all I saw was a light dark spot in its place. no swollen dark skin just a dark spot.

"woah" I breathed out. She just chuckled getting up. "wake the others up for me then meet me in the kitchen." she walked out of the living room.

ok weird. I just shrugged it off waking up the others. Phil, sleeps like a rock, I wonder if I set him on fire if he would wake up. I almost carried it out before Vanessa stopped me sensing my idea.

what?! do you know how long it takes to wake him up, I am a very impatient person. Vanessa just screamed in his mind waking him up at once. it was pretty funny, he fell off his chair.

Anywho, we went into the kitchen and I think I died and went to heaven. Food; pancakes, bacon, sosage, eggs. 

"stop drooling and sit down would you" Ice rolled her eyes. I snapped out of it looking from her to the food. "you made all this" I mentioned over to the breakfast buffet.

"no, a leprechaun thought he would do us a favor" She stated sarcastically. and Ice is back.

I just sat down and digged in. "Ice shouldn't you be resting" Derek asked his mouth full of food. He must have been distracted to not ask that earlier.

"I'm fine" she waved him off before walking out. Soon I heard the water running with my enhanced hearing. 

Do not judge. I couldn't help but picture Ice, Water droplets glistering on her naked body. 

Suddenly Vanessa started choking. she reached for her juice gulping it down before staring at me wide eyes.

Oh crap. I felt my face heat up. I just looked away giving my food my complete attention. It was then Lee also started choking gulped down her juice staring at me wide eyed then wiggling her eyebrow.

great, thanks alot Vanessa. 'you're welcome' she giggled in my mind.

'dont you have other things to do other then prying into my mind' I asked annoyed.

'of course, prying in other's minds' she responded in a duh tone. I just groaned in annoyance finiching my breakfest. I've got to say that is delicious.

We all finished and went back into the living room to crach. in other words we were watching TV. thanks to Lee the girls got the remote and are watching Days Of Our Lives.ugh.

Ice soon came in her hair still wet wearing tank top and shorts. those legs.

I heard a slap and saw Phil rubbing his head and Vanessa looking victorious. he was mumbling something along the lines of, crime.....check out....hot chick.

"well if you guys are finished checking me out." she walked over to the television turning it off.

"we have things to discuss" She sat on the couch.

"yeah like why the creatures not only came out but attacked you, it never happened before." Vanessa pointed out.

"it never did but I think I have an idea to how that happened." Ice stated.

"how?" I asked. I may not know what usually happens during that day, but from what I guadered this has never happened before. if it never did then how did it happen.

"when the creatures were forming when my head was in a great hell of a pain" She started.

"but doesn't that happen everytime with your telepathy and all?" Lee asked.

"thats what I thought it was too at first, the pain went on as the creatures formed red eyes but then it just stopped. not died down stopped." She shook her head. that is weird for something like that to just stop.

"What does that have to do with anything?" Vanessa asked thinking.

"I was thinking about it for a while now and the answer came to me. Vanessa what does it mean when your head is in pain no injuries at all just feels like an invasion to privacy then it just stops?" Ice asked her.

Vanessa thought about it for a while before her eyes widenned. "It  means someone unwanted is in your mind" She said in realisation. I'm confused thought.

"how come when you enter my mind unwelcomed that doesn't happen to me?" I asked confused.

"Because you're not a sphycic and you dont read minds, we shpycics have stronger minds so when someone enters our minds unwanted without us knowing it means they passed the barriers in our minds which brings the pain. It alerts us immidiatly so we can push the intruder out of our minds. you guys dont have that kind of defence like sphycics" Vanessa explained.

"and my defences were going down. someone took the liberty to enter my mind even if I felt the pain I would just think it was because of my haywire telepathy. to put it short someone tried to kill me" Ice sighed. and they used her moment of weakness to do it along with her creatures.

what bothers me is how did this person know about what happens to me on December first. The only ones who know are the administrators and these five.

whoever they are they play a dangerous game.

when I find that person, I'll make sure they get a slow agonizing death.

these Conquerers are going down.
