"come on Ice stay awake" I urged her. but it was too late she already passed out. I dont know what came over me to stand there like an idiot staring at her as she held her stomach wound in shock.

I snapped out of it when she began coughing blood. i'm an idiot, she just got shot and I stood there just staring at her.

I put Ice into the back seat with me, Lee coming next to me.

"you three get a ride back" Vanessa yelled to the three agents we just saved as Derek drove as fast as he could towards the society building.

I applied pressure on her stomach wound and shoulder. "what are going to do? those bullets had the cyrums in it" Phil said panicked behind us.

I knew he was right as I was panicking also. she wasn't just hit with one but three of them.

"shit" Derek cursed as he turned sharply  making me hit my head on the door. I could care less because right now Ice is in critical condition.

'the poison is spreading" Lee said panicked. "try not to move her alot it'll slow down the process" She told me. I was even more panicked, she was dying from the poison.

"when we get there how are going to get the cyrum out of her before it reaches her heart?" Vanessa asked Lee frantic. I've never seen Vanessa like this. this isn't helping.

"I dont know but we have to get it out before it reaches her heart, especially from the wound on her shoulder, were running out of time" Lee said panicked. How are we going to get it out, by this time the poison must have spread far and wide and we cant just take out the blood that was infected, it'll be too much.

think think, there has to be a way, surgery maby or sometype of cure..............

"thats it a cure" I rejoiced out loud.

"what?"  Phil asked confused. Vanessa's eyes widen "thats right" She spoke hope in her voice. she really needs to stay out of other peoples mind.

"What?" Lee asked annoyed. she really hates being kept in the dark- focus

" the anticyrum you and Ice were working on, we can use it and save her" I told her.

She looked relieved but then worried. "but it doesn't work fully, it cancel out the poison but the powers don't return" she said her eyes full of worry.

"but it can keep her alive won't it? it cancels out the poison" I said hopefully.

"Think about it, Ice will be devastated and very angry if she loses her powers" Derek spoke stifly in the drivers seat.

"its better than dying isn't it? Ice is one of the strongest people I know with or without powers. knowing her if she does lose her powers she will hunt down every single people responsible and torture them to death" she chuckled softly at the last part.

"It doesn't matter now, we will do anything we can to keep her alive as for her powers" Derek paused. "all we can do is hope" He said softly. and hope I will.

Derek pulled up in front of the building and got out and came to my side and helped me take Ice out of the car.

not wasting any time we all ran into the building. "get her to the infermary, Lee get the anti cyrum" Derek demanded.

running towards the infermary moving people out of the way, I ignored their shocked gasps and stares as I carried Ice. There were also looks of worry and fear, well what do you know, they really do care.

I looked down at Ice and saw she was getting pale blood all over her and dripping on the floor making a trail....her blood. I ran faster and made it into the infirmary putting her on the bed.

right away doctors started working on her, cutting up her clothes and putting IV on to her. They plugged her into the heart moniter and soon, I heard her slow beating heart that was slowing down by the second.

one doctor started taking out the bullets making the heart moniter speed up for a moment. the doctor finally took out a bullet he inspected it when he suddenly paled. "Is that-"

"yes" I told him knowing he was talking about the bullet that has the cyrum in it. "and she was hit with three of those, oh dear" he paled even more.

"I dont know if we can save her" he spoke glumly that made me angry.

"what do you mean?!" I yelled at him. he stepped back but still spoke  "no one has ever survived when infected by the cyrum, three nonetherless" he shook his head a glum expression still on "theres no cure" he whispered sadly. Now I was really angry. 

"just do your job goddamn it, take the bullets out of her, its not over until its really over until then do your job and try to keep her alive" I yelled agrily glaring at this so call doctor feeling my temperature rising.

How can he be a doctor when he easily gives up on his patients when their stil alive not even trying.The doctor stared at me with fear before taking out the bullet from her shoulder. shouldn't that have been the first bullet taken out?

I am so firing that doctor, no literally but not now. what happened to the other doctors? and the others.......

I looked around seeing no one until a blur came speeding in. "Finished" Lee gasped out holding a bottle with a clear liquid.  I take it thats the anticyrum.

Lee went towards a table full of metical supplies before getting a needle. "miss what are you doing?" The doctor asked as Lee walked towards Ice with the needle filled with the clear liquid.

"damn she's fast" I turned around and saw Vanessa and Derek catching their breath. "where were you guys?" i asked them.

"well we were-" Vanessa was cut off when the line moniter went in a straight line.

no no no no this cant be happening I thought as I ran towards Ice seeing her pale as ever.

"shit" Lee cursed out pushing the doctor out of the way before bringing the needle down hard right where her heart was and pushing in the clear liquid.

We got to Ice's side as Lee pulled out the needle,and held our breaths waiting.

I was about to give up after we stood there for about five minutes when I heard the greatest sound in my life. The heart moniter started beeping slowly before bepping really fast before slowing down beeping into a regular rhyme. 

I breathed out a breath I didn't know I was holding in relief. She's alive, She's alive I thought as I slipped into a chair near her bed putting my hand on my forehead.

"that was close" Lee sighed out before sitting right on the floor. 

It was quiet for a while when a certain doctor spoke out "thats incredible, this is a big discovery she's still alive what was that liquid?" he asked Lee.

I couldn't help it, I threw a fireball at him, the bastard didn't really care for her life. He cried out as he burned running out the room, I didn't really care and I saw neither did the others.

I turned towards the door when I heard a noise seeing a crowd had gathered the three agents we saved in front and the one who came to warn us.

All of them standing there looked worried, yup they really do care about her even if they fear her. I couldn't help but smile sadly at that. 

"is she going to be okay?" the girl Ice saved asked coming in with her friends but the crowd stayed outside."yes she is" Vanessa spoke softly but loud. I heard many sighs of relief and murmmurs in the crowd.

"wow, she survived"

"she's really something"

"she is a really strong person scary thought."

"I hope she gets better"

They all really admire her.

"yeah" Vanessa sighed out.

"stay out of my mind" I told her irritated. "I did, you said that out loud" She said in amusement.

"oh" I turned away.

"well everyone back to whatever you were doing don't crowd up the space" Derek spoke out to the crowd at the door. Soon the crowd disperced along with the agents we saved after some blessings towards Ice.

I sighed streching on the chair trying to unstiff

"you know I really hope she's alright and that she didn't lose any of her powers" Lee said quietly. It all came crashing down and I was stiff once again.

I dont know how but sometime then I fell asleep.

I shivered feeling cold. wait what? My eyes snapped open but closed from the light coming in the room. well the sun is up.

I opened my eyes and gasped at the sight. Ice was on the bed, a frozen bed including everything around her were staring to freeze also.

"Ice" I approached her cauriously seeing her in a ball on the bed. I heard shuffling behind me and turned to see everyone wide awake staring at Ice in shock. I looked at them confused and back at Ice freezing in shock.

Ice was crying, she was in a ball crying she looked so vunerable.

"Ice" I said sofetly slowly approaching her as I was out of my shock.

"whats wrong" Derek asked also approaching her.

"its gone" I heard her whisper putting her head down her hair covering her face, I could still see tears coming down on on to the bed.

"whats gone" Vanessa asked when she suddenly froze in shock, shock, pity and fear was seen in her eyes. what is it? sometimes I wish I could read minds.

"its gone" she whispered again her voice cracking. I felt my own heart crack at her tone, she looked no she was so vunerable.

"whats gone?" I asked her softly.

"My cytokinesis" she whispered  

"its gone" She looked up at us tears streaming down her face.

I froze right on the spot registering what she just said.

"my cytokinesis"

"its gone"
