I was awoken by the ringing of a bell,I rose from the bed and looked around in panic,then I remembered all that happened yesterday, me being the personal servant to the prince,talking to Margaret, then shook my head.

"Rise and shine sleepy heads,up and off to the bathroom,I want you all in the dining hall in 20 minutes" Lauren said and walked out of our quarters.

I checked the time on the small clock I have on my bedside table and I saw it was 6:00am,I don't usually wake at this time when I was home, I wake up 8:00am but I'm not home I need to remember this. I stood up quickly and rushed to the bathroom. After my bath I had dressed up already,heading to the dining hall when someone held onto my arm.

I jerked my arm and turned to look at the person when I saw Maggie. "Ohh...its just you,sorry I'm just a little jumpy" I explained to her, she looked at me with amusement twinkling in her eye then she gave me a broad smile. "It's okay,let's go to the dining hall looks like there is an announcement" she said and pulled me along,the dinning hall was also huge with long tables and a lot of chairs which filled the room. Maggie then pulled me again but this time to get a seat with some of her friends who looked friendly,they all smiled at me and I smiled back at them.

My attention was taken by Miss Lauren who stood at the end of the room,putting on a lovely dress that suit her perfectly,she spoke with confidence "Good morning to you all,I just want to pass on this information,you will start your respective jobs by 8:00am, which means I want you all up by 6:00am then your job will be done by 8:00pm after which you will retire to your quarters by 9:00pm,leaving one hour to your selves" she said and her eyes scanned the hall like she was looking for something or someone "Lily Brooks,please come over here" she said and waved me to her then she exited the hall,I was shocked but I went with her.

I exited the dining hall then I saw her standing far off in the hall way,I breathed in and out deeply and walked briskly towards her when I got to her I bowed as expected of me. "Please raise your head child,you don't need to bow to me,I just wanted to tell you what is expected of you as His Highness servant" she explained,before I could reply she continued talking. "You are to call him Your Highness, never look him in the eye,do whatever he wants you to do one more thing never clean the dark side of the room only clean where the light touches," she rambled. "I think if you do that you would be fine,His Highness isn't going to be around for breakfast so no need to take his breakfast to him but he would be around for his dinner which is at 6:00pm. One more thing you should drop his food and leave the room,then go back for it an hour after unless His Highness tells you otherwise. Now that is cleared you should hurry off to have your breakfast". " Thank you very much Miss Lauren for the helpful tips" I said and headed back to the dining hall, I noticed she had a worried look on her face but I shook it off and headed back.

I got to my table with Maggie, I found out you can order what ever you want which I think is cool. I ordered for pancakes and an orange juice,after my breakfast Maggie introduced me to her friends. "So lily over here is Alex" she pointed to a boy with shaggy brown hair but was cute, "Melissa and Judy,they are sisters" then she pointed to two other girls who are brunettes,both are taller than me,they smiled at me. "Well good day ladies,I'll be off to my work see you at dinner" he said and went off.

"Maggie,where was Alex appointed?" I asked, "ohh...Alex works in the laundry department, I work in the kitchen,Judy works in the garden while Melissa is a personal servant to the young mistress,Princess Caterina" she explained

"Melissa,you are a personal servant just like me,do you mind telling me what it feels like?" I asked curiously and she smiled at me "no problem,its a bit of trouble,I have to clean Caterina's room everyday which is huge and gets me tired before I start my main work which is like babysitting her because she is a handful,she makes me play dress up with her then she starts to cry if I deny her which calls the attention of her parents and I get punished by playing with her for 3 hours straight and trust me when I say she is demanding" she continues to ramble on and an then I knew I made a huge mistake by asking her,Judy sensed my discomfort "Melissa, stop talking you are boring the hell out of her" Judy said and Melissa kept quiet her cheeks reddens in embarrassment and Maggie laughs out.

"Guys, I'll see you soon,its time for us to get to work" I said and excused my self.
I headed to Prince Darius room,thanks to Judy who directed me. I was knocking on the huge door,then I remembered Miss Lauren already told me Prince Darius wasn't around, I shook my head at my stupidity before entering the room.

The room was way too big,Melissa wasn't exaggerating when she described the room. I can't believe I'm going to clean this whole room.

The room was just plain,it had a king sized bed,a huge shelf sat at the far end of the room stocked with a lot of books,on my right was a reading table and a walk-in closet,well all these were on the bright side of the room,I tried to look into the dark side of the room but I couldn't see a thing.

I wonder why a part of his room is dark, that aside I need to hurry up in cleaning up this room. I was arranging the reading table as it was scattered with various books,returning them into the book shelf when a gust of wind blew past me startling me.

I checked the windows but they were shut,turning round I saw the door open. "I could have sworn I shut this door",I said to no one in particular and shut the door once more. Taking one look round the room,I continued my cleaning.

Little did she know that she wasn't alone.
