Should I tell him the reason now why I wanted to come here because now I had found my answer too

This realization made my chest heavy with happiness as I wrapped my hands around him feeling in harmony at this moment while making him do the same as he wrapped his big hands around me engulfing me in him. I took a deep breath in his intoxicating scent. It made me feel like I was at home. 

We kept swinging our bodies to the slow song with a smile on our faces. I felt at this moment I was living my life to the fullest for the first time. Everything felt complete in his embrace. It felt like I only came alive in his arms. This kind of power he hands over me. This made me tighten my hold on him to feel I had some effect on him and I got my answer when I felt him breathing in my scent. It only made me smile like an idiot. 

The rest of the night went celebrating as people here loved to celebrate all night. I don't know when I slept in Jack's arm at the party as I was so exhausted. The next day I found myself in our bed with Jack all over me. The rest of the day I spent with Kristi as she was going to show me this place all again. Jack tagged along with us as he didn't trust Kristi with me. It only made me move my head in amusement as I saw his jealous face. 

He all the time looked at her with his narrowed eyes all the time, suspecting her of doing something evil to me. And on other hand, Kristi was not any less. She didn't let go of a single chance of making him mad. Their catfighting only amused me but at night I had to face the consequences of laughing at them as Jack tortured me with his skilled hands. He made me say I'm his innumerable time as he was so jealous after seeing me laughing with Kristi. I don't know what to do with him anymore. 

The very next day we left back for home. It was hard for me to part with the people. I became so attached to them in such a short time. They even took a promise from me to visit them soon. Now it's been two weeks since we came back from our honeymoon. But it looks like it was still not over for Jack's. He was still in the honeymoon period as he wanted to have me all the time. The only thing which was keeping him away from me was our new project. 

From then on our life has been busier as we got back to all the work and normal life. The only things that were different in my normal life were Jack was more demanding than before. I can't complain as I enjoyed each moment I spent in his warm arms. Every time he made me feel things it made more clear to me his feelings towards me. I knew he wanted me back as much as I wanted him. Now he has gone more vicious with his ways and like I said I'm not complaining. 

I collect all the legal documents I need to discuss with Ava before she hands it to our lawyer. Ava was also trying to help with lessening our work as the new project was going to launch soon and it was a big project. We were near the deadline and all the work needed to be done soon and as a general manager, she was working hard in fact she was the one who was handling the project before we came back from our honeymoon. 

But now we are back, we have taken our responsibility back, so now she was handling all the legal work as we were handling the rest of the work but I think it was getting difficult for her to handle it. Because every time she returns from our legal attorney's office, she has a pissed expression on her face. It looked like she was ready to murder anyone who gets in her way. And anyone here didn't want to get on their general manager's bad side so they stayed away from here. 

I tried to talk with her but she brushed it off so I didn't force it even though I was anxious to know what was going on with her. I know she will tell me once she feels like it, so I have to wait patiently. But that was the one thing I didn't have in me. The launch date was only a few days away and we were all in a hurry to complete all work on time so dates are not pushed further. If we won't complete it in time the name of our company will be stained forever in the market and we don't want it at any cost. 

Not only us but every employee was working hard to finish work before the deadline. I was dealing with work inside the office and Jack was attending meetings with all board members and shareholders outside the office. Like this, we shared our co-CEO ship. We didn't even get time to see each other's faces for the whole day in these past two weeks. Sometimes he even came home late and I had to go to bed alone. The only way I knew he was home when I felt him sleeping on me and that's only when I let myself drift in deep slumber with him beside me. 

I didn't like our current arrangement a bit and he knew it so he tried to wind up his work fast but he still ended up coming late. I could see he was changing as a man becoming more responsible than he was. I don't know if I was the reason behind this change but I liked what was happening and aunty Sam couldn't be any happy seeing Jack's changed behavior towards me. He wasn't the same boy who always used to tease me or insult me but now he seemed like a caring husband. Everything seemed going smoothly and I liked how everything was fitting properly. 

But everything felt so nice to be real and I had a constant feeling or more like nagging inside me. That this bubble around me would break soon and everything would shatter into millions of small pieces the same as the thin glass gets with a hard blow on it. I took a deep breath and brush of this feeling. 

"Concentrate on good things" I whispered under my breath as I imagined all the smiling faces of my loved ones. It unknowingly spread a smile on my face. I collected all the files from my tables with a smiling face as I found a new source of energy for the rest of the day. 

I need to discuss some documents with Ava before she passes them further. I want to make some changes and then let Ava know it so no confusion is created later. Taking them I walked out of my office and took an elevator down to the twenty-sixth floor to her office. I was still going through the files and walked to her office with still my head buried in files. I was making proper notes of what to change and what not to. As I opened her office door I heard a very pissed voice of Ava. 

"I will never do that," she said in her rebellious voice while looking straight at the person who had cornered her to the wall. He was standing so near her with both of his hands in his pocket like intimidating her with his ora. I couldn't see his face as his straight muscular back was facing me. 

"You will and that too willingly," he said I could hear the arrogance in his voice which made Ava shiver a bit but she didn't let it come on her face as she stood on her grounds. I could see his words were affecting her as they had a determination in them. 

"Only in your dreams," she said stubbornly with a hint of confidence in her words like she will never go back on her words to succumb to his evil plan. 

"We will see," he said in a mocking tone as Ava was the biggest fool to judge his convincing power and from her face, I could tell Ava knew his capability. I saw Ava's jaw thickening in anger. All their conversation was making me hell curious to know more but it felt like I was hearing what I shouldn't. I cleared my throat to get their attention as they have still not acknowledged my presence. 

Ava's eyes widened as they fell on me. She immediately tried to move away from that person whose face I was dying to see but some power was pinning her to her place. Taking his time he slowly turned around and a gasp left my eyes when I saw a striking green eye. They were shining so bright as if they were emerald. I could certainly see the determination mixed with evil intention in his green pools and I suddenly started to feel so worried for my dear friend as I recognized who this handsome man with striking green eyes was. 

He was none other than that infamous criminal lawyer Michele Robers. He was famous for his cruel nature in court; he never let his opponent win. He knew how to bend laws and use them in his right way and that's the reason why Jack hired his firm for all our legal work as it was best in the States. I looked at Ava with soft eyes as I knew this man won't stop until he gets what he wants from her but the only thing which put my heart at ease is that I knew she is a fighter. She won't succumb to his demands without a good fight. 

It makes me curious to know what will happen once their life gets intertwined with each other. 

Who will win amongst them in the court of life?
