Chapter 5

Chapter 5

*Isabella Murray*

I froze in astonishment and my brain didn't seem to accumulate what was happening. I didn't know whether to push him away or keep doing it. But was it wrong that I was kissing the Prince who was currently engaged to the Princess? Yeah, I guess it was wrong, very wrong. I slightly pushed him away but he didn't seemed to budge, so I pushed him again, this time harder than the first one. He quickly got the message that I didn't want to continue.

"We can't do this." I hesitated looking anywhere else but his eyes.

"Why not?" He pouted snaking his hand to my waist.

"Because you're engage. And not only an ordinary marriage but you're engage to a royalty." I stated yanking his hand off of my waist.

He sighed and looked away from me. He took his bag that was lying on the floor and wears one of the straps on his shoulder. He looked into my eyes again but I was too busy looking at my hand. And just like that, without even saying a word, he left and walked away. This brought back the feeling of déja vû the same way he left me. Tears prickled in my eyes as the memory played back in my head. Oh Logan, why are you doing this to me again?

After Calculus class I was more relieved that it was lunch already. It wasn't an easy class though because Logan was there and my mind couldn't focus very well. He didn't seem to notice my presence though and he didn't even glance at me, not even once. I don't know what's going on in his mind but whatever it is, it was eating his insides and it hurts to see him like that. It's like he's feeling guilt towards something but I don't know what it is. Could he be feeling guilty because he left me hurting? Whatever it is, I still couldn't stand him feeling that way whether he hurt me or not.

Ever since then, everyone was giving me cold shoulders. I felt like the whole school was against me. What did I do wrong this time? I made my way to my locker and shoved my books. Everyone was giving me disgusted faces or disappointed ones. Seriously, what did I do? Was it about the announcement this morning?

"Bella, Bella!" Amber called out as she sprinted towards me waving her phone in the air. "You gotta see this." She panted for air, shoving the phone in my face. I looked at the image in the phone and I swear my heart sank to the floor. Tears started to well in my eyes and I couldn't believe what my eyes were seeing.

"Bella, are you okay?" Amber asked worriedly rubbing my shoulder.

"Amber, wh-where did t-this come from?" I stammered. I felt like it ran out of oxygen that there weren't any left for me to breathe. I tightened my grip to the phone hoping it would crash into millions of pieces.

"I don't know, but what I do know is that this was taken today." She paused. "Bella how could you? He's the Prince and you know he's engage." She accused causing my inside to burn in flames.

"I didn't do it on purpose. I didn't even see it coming!" I explained.

"So what are you going to do now? You can't let the press see this or it will be a big scandal. It will be the end of you and Logan." She pointed out.

I took every power that was left in me and went to the parking lot. There were some students who were either disgusted by me or laughing at me just because of one stupid picture. I scanned the parking lot and saw the car that I was looking for. It wasn't really hard to look for a big, black limo.

I knocked on the window and someone inside pressed the button and the window started to roll down. Sparkling blue eyes greeted me with that stupid smile plastered on his face.

"Can I help you?" He asked politely.

"Actually, yes, you can." I said giving him a fake smile. "Logan, you've got to stop following me. Please, just leave me alone. And I'm only going to say this once so I hope you're listening. Leave. Me. Alone...."

"Okay, I will. Are we done now?" He snapped annoyed at me.

"Nope, not quite." I said shaking my head slightly. "I want you to delete all of this picture in everyone's phone. You started it, you're ending it." I demanded handing him the phone. His jaw dropped and his eyes widened as he glance at the picture.

"But how - who - I..." He stuttered.

"Logan please, I can't let the press have this. It will be the end of you and me, I swear. So please, help me!" I begged. He quickly opened the door and it slammed to my head making me stumbled backwards to my butt.

"Shit." He cursed. "I'm so sorry." He apologized stepping out of the car and giving me a hand but I slapped it away and stand by my own.

"So are you going to help me or not?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Isa, it's not that easy okay? I have to contact a few people, get them to delete the pictures, it's going to take hours or even days to do such a hard job." He explained giving back the phone.

"Hard job? Logan you're a Prince. I'm pretty sure they'll do whatever you ask for. Please, just help me." I cried.

"Isa, would you calm down? I'll do my best to do everything, I promise. Do you have any idea how many people have this picture on their phones?" He asked but I just shrugged as tears started to form in my eyes.

"Hey, I promise I'll do everything." He whispered rubbing my shoulder. He slipped in the car and gave me a smile. "James, start the car, we're going somewhere." He ordered as the limo roared to life and left.

Why does he always have to do this? Leave me alone and go away. It's so annoying and totally pissing me off!

I woke up the next day feeling more anxious than usual. I didn't exactly know why but I felt like a part of me was broken. I got ready for school and went to the kitchen for breakfast only to find a red head girl cooking some hotdogs. Sally was my roommate you might call. We shared the apartment and pay half of the rent. She's twenty five so I guess she knows more about life than me. She's a big help since she helped me with my previous teen crisis and gave me advises. She's like the sister I'd never had.

"Hey Bella. How's your sleep?" She greeted as she handed me a glass of milk.

"Great." I lied. To be honest, all I could think about last night was the picture of Logan and I, kissing. I don't even know if I should consider it as a nightmare or a sweet dream. Either way, I was terrified that if someone finds out, my life would be over for sure.

"Really? It doesn't sound like it was." Sally said giving me the plate of hotdogs. Sally knows me too well I can't even hide anything to her. We'd been living together for a year now and I guess she knows everything about me by then.

"Well, maybe not so great. I didn't get enough sleep last night thinking of..... stuff."

"What kind of stuff?"

"Sally, are you going to interogate me the whole day?" I asked raising an eyebrow and taking a bite out of a hotdog in process.

"Not until I find out what this is about." She replied. I furrowed my eyebrows together not following what she was saying.

"What exactly is 'this'?" I asked quoting the word this in the air.

"Here." She said as she handed me the newspaper. I looked at the front page and my eyes nearly dropped down my face as I stared at the picture dumbfounded.

"Oh. My. God!" I said my jaw hanging open letting everything process in my head. "This cannot be real." I blinked repeatedly hoping that I was seeing things but everything was right before my eyes and it was real.

*Logan Lacosco*

"Wake up Prince Logan! Wake up!" George said with his strong British accent. George was my butler. He walked up to the window and opened the curtain. The sun beamed and hit my eyes.

"Ahhh! George, close the damn thing!" I yelled putting the covers over my face.

"Language Prince Logan." He hissed taking a suit out of my closet.

"Sorry?" I apologized but it sounded more like a question.

"Hurry up. The King and the Queen wants to talk you. And your parents are there as well." He demanded.

"Why do they want to talk to me?" I asked standing up and made my way to the bathroom.

"I am not sure but they said it is urgent."

"Okay, I'll be there in a jiffy." I chuckled.

"Don't mock me." He snapped which caused me to laugh even more.

As soon as I looked at the mirror and liked what I saw, I made my way to the meeting room where we usually meet. I knocked at the door and James opened the door for me.

The first thing I saw was Rosalie sobbing on the couch while the Queen tried to comfort her. My parents were sitting down to the opposite couch to them and the King was pacing back and forth behind the couch were Rosalie and the Queen were sitting.

The moment I entered, their attention turned to me and the King gave me dagger looks while my parents and the Queen shot me disappointed ones. Rosalie kept on crying and hid her face with her hands.

"What's going on?" I asked looking at everyone and waited for anyone to answer me but they just stared at me.

After a long pause, my father finally stood up and took something from the centre table. He walked up to me and handed me the newspaper. I gave him a confuse look but nevertheless, I took it from him and scanned the front page.

"Wha-?" My jaw nearly dropped to the floor as I stared at the picture. My heart beat sped up and I felt my hands started sweating. I took a deep breath when I realized something. What had Isa felt when she saw the article? I'm pretty sure she'd freaked out.

"Fix this! NOW!" The King yelled pointing at the door. I shuffled to my feet and ran out of the door. I quickly made a phone call and do what I had to do even though I know that Isa will despise me forever.
