The entire volleyball team was curious to why Kenma recently goes straight 'home' after practice without even waiting for Kuroo. But Kenma simply brushed them off

You stretched your limbs and flipped the store sign open.

"And after this, I'll go play Persona 5" You had a very convenient location for a pastry shop, it was nearby your school. So you open the cafe every after school until 7 PM, and your parents handle the 7 AM until you get out of school.

As you got into the kitchen, the bell store chimed indicating that a customer has arrived

"Welcome- oh, Kenma?" You wiped your wet hands on the towel and smiled at the person in front of you

"I'd have the usual please..." He muttered, not looking away from his game. You nodded and told him to take a seat while you re-heat the pie

"One apple pie and apple juice" You went to make his juice, you served his order with a smile more customers started to arrive.

Kenma wasn't fond of crowds so he left.

The following day, during the same time; Kenma entered the cafe with the rest of the volleyball team secretly following him

"So this is where he's been going"

"Idiots! Shut up!"

"Why am I even here?"

"Hi Kenma! The usual?" You smiled at him, since he wasn't focused on his game today he took the time to study your features. Confused by his silence, you titled your head making him snap out of his trance

"Yeah.. I was... hoping if you could make two orders of the usual?... I want you to accompany me as well..." Kenma timidly said, a light shade of pink was visible on his cheeks while yours was a darker shade

"S-Sure!"

Over the period that no customers were there, you chatted with Kenma while eating apple pie. Topics from games to volleyball. After you finished chuckling about a story he told about his friend Kuroo, he smiled and let out a deep sigh

"(F/n).. will you.."

"be my girlfriend?..." Kenma asked, the Nekoma team started to cheer outside once you nodded and placed a kiss on Kenma's cheek

"On our dates... you better not order apple pies... or you'll get sick" you bashfully said before running behind the counter

Kenma smiled and walked out of the cafe, there he got ambushed by his team

"GAHAHAHA I'M SO PROUD OF YOU"

"I am too!"

"I don't know these guys." Kenma stated before walking off to escape from the rowdy group
