I lied down in bed, my mind drifting off to sleep. I suddenly remembered what could happen and jolted up. I sat on my bed, dreading whatever would happen. Was it every night? Was it random times? Or was it just that one time? Hmmm. Either way I was super exhausted and felt like I would collapse into sleep any moment. Yup, I fell asleep.

I sat upright and cautiously opened my eyes. I felt myself sitting on rough ground. I opened my eyes and looked around. No! No! No! I was covered in blood again and I was in the forest, again. No no no no, what happened?!

I stood up and ran back to the orphanage, taking the same root I had last time this had happened. I cleaned myself up and got ready for school. When I was ready, about an hour early again, I sat on my bed and turned on the TV and put on the news. Hoping and hoping I didn't do much.

A reporter stood in front of a house. The house was destroyed in many places and there was rubble in around the building. The main window was broken to pieces and there was blood everywhere. Uh oh.

The reporter said this: "Hello and welcome back to The News, where today you join us at the scene of another attack from the monster. As you can see the house has been badly damaged. The family inside were apparently in bed asleep until they were woken up by the sounds of growling and their window being smashed. All family members were badly injured and have several broken bones. No news yet about how they are taking it." I turned off the TV. I had seen enough.

A family?! They could have died!!! No, I can't be a murderer! I refuse to murder anyone. Maybe, maybe I could lock myself somewhere! Like a basement, or something. Oh right, I live in an orphanage with no basement! Perfect, just freaking perfect.

I walked out the room and downstairs with my bag on my back. A few people were up now, and I saw a some of the workers struggling with some toddlers. They must be new.

"What are you doing?" A woman asked.

"I'm going to school." I answered a little surprised that she didn't even know. It was pretty obvious in my opinion.

"Why? Your school is closed while they search it because of the monster."

"Oh." Is all I could say. How did I forget that?! Wow. At least I get a chance to clear my head. And hey, I'm not complaining. No school! Heh, and I've only had one full day. Actually I haven't even had a full day of school yet.

"I'm just gonna go for a walk." I said and walked out of the orphanage, dropping my bag by the door.

I walked deep into the forest with my hands in my pockets. I made sure I was very very deep into it and no one was near me, then I morphed into the wolf. I'm scared. I'm scared of whatever will happen next. All I know, is that it can't be good.
