I walked into the highschool nervously. It was very crowded. Uh oh. I wasn't good in crowds. I started to breath a little heavily, and I ran to the girls bathroom. Ok. Now I was fine.

I walked over to the locker rooms (it's a good thing the orphanage taught me some stuff before I came here) and put most of my stuff in it, including my bag and things like that.  I closed my locker and went to my first class, Maths. Oh no! Maths, my least favourite. Awwwww, seriously? My first ever class at school is maths! I sighed and sat down at the back of the class. I waited a few moments until the rest of the class was here and the teacher stood ready.

"Hello class. Now today we have a new student joining us." He gestured towards me, everyone looked at me. I smiled nervously.

"And what's your name?" The teacher asked.

"Uh, Grace. Hi." I said nervously.

"Well hello Grace. My name is Mr. Wood." I nodded. "And I can assure you that we all hope you have fun at this school." I nodded again. Everyone turned back to face Mr. Wood. I sighed my relief.

"Ok class. Today we will be learning how to-" I tuned out the lesson.

I couldn't think straight, not that I can ever think straight in math lessons, but this time it was really bad. I felt like my body was on fire! I started to breath a little heavily and ran out the room. I ran out the school and into the forest. I kept running, while my body heated up even more. Then suddenly it just, stopped. I was left feeling very lightheaded and collapsed.

* * * * * * * * * * * *

I woke up, still in the forest, still lying down, and still feeling lightheaded. I moved my hand a little, trying to get up, but found it hard to move. After a few minutes I managed to pull myself up and start walking back to the orphanage.

"Why are you back so early?" A worker asked when I walked through the door. I ignored her and went to my room, shut the door, and sat on my bed.

I put my head in my hands. Great. What a wonderful first day of school!
