"So do you like chicken?"

"I'm vegetarian."

"Are you sure about that?" Drunk Gerard smirked.

"Um..." Frank squirmed on the bar stool, getting a little uncomfortable.

But he doesn't want to get uncomfortable because this red head asking him drunken questions is very attractive. And not to mention, he's kind of funny.

Frank's friends, Kellin and Vic brought him to the bar because it's apparently 'a special night'. Frank brushed off the lame excuse and decided to head out for a drink anyways.

"You can eat my chicken if you want," Gerard smiled lazily after he took a sip of his beer.

"I told you man, I'm vegetarian." Frank giggled.

"Aw- fine, I'll make vegetarian chicken!" The red head cheered, making the other giggle once more.

"I don't know you well enough to let you make me food." Frank smiled.

"Then I won't make you the food," Gerard slurred and folded his arms across his chest.

"But how will I eat the chicken?" The younger man asked.

"We can go to KFC!" The older man grinned.

By now, Frank has given up. He smiled and shook his head, making Gerard look at him weird.

"I don't wanna go to KFC!" Frank whined. He decided he'll play drunk just to see what the other would do.

"Please?!" The red head begged.

"Okay..." Frank giggled.

"Yay! Can I buy you a lot of drinks? Like beer?" Gerard offered and Frank thought for a moment.

Did he really want to spend a night with this attractive red head? Did he really want to possibly get his number? Did Frank want to maybe get laid by this man?

Hell fucking yes he did.

"Fuck yeah, but only if I get your number..." Frank smirked at the sudden boost of confidence.

"Nine," Gerard stated to Frank before he called for the bartender.

"What?"

"I dunno, you asked for a number..." Gerard shrugged and turned to Frank after the bartender have them their drinks.

"Not just any number!" Frank laughed. "Your phone number."

"Ahhh!" Gerard laughed and took a gulp of his beer. Gerard gave him his phone number and Frank saved his contact.

"There, now I can call you whenever I wanna!" Frank exclaimed and sipped on his beer. He wasn't really one for beer, he only got it to make Gerard happy. "So, who'd you come 'ere with?"

"My brother," the red head muttered and waved his hand behind him. Frank assumed his brother was dancing or something.

"Is he as attractive as you?" Frank smirked and Gerard looked at him with his eyes before he relaxed a little and smirked back.

"He could never be as attractive as the hotness." He shimmied in his stool and Frank laughed.

"'The hotness'?"

"That's me!" Gerard took a sip of his beer.

"Wow..." The younger man shook his head and smiled.

"Hey, it's loud in here!" He yelled.

"Not really!" Frank yelled back.

And Frank was right; it wasn't that loud in there, surprisingly. Gerard just wanted to leave, but with Frank. He didn't want to go back to either of their houses, just because they met that night, but maybe a walk through the park would be fine with the two. Gerard doesn't know.

Gerard had a lot of confidence, which everyone loves about him. He's never afraid to say what's on his mind. So later that night when he went to the bathroom and came back only to see some girl hitting on Frank- who looked ridiculously uncomfortable, Gerard stepped in.

"Hey baby," Gerard said and kissed Frank's cheek. Frank looked at him weird and the other winked, whispering to just go along with it. Luckily, the girl didn't take Gerard's seat, so he sat down and pulled Frank's stool closer to him and wrapped his arms around his waist.

"Um... who's this?" The girl asked with a disgusted look on her face.

"Thi-"

"Hi! I'm Gerard!" He cut Frank off and stuck out his hand for the girl to shake it. She just stared at it before looking between the 'couple'.

"So Frank," the girl ignored Gerard, "here's my number," she handed Frank a piece of paper, "call me later, hm?"

"Uh..." Frank took the paper and looked at Gerard who was just glaring at the girl.

"Bye!" Gerard said and the girl scurried away. "Bitch."

He took the paper from Frank and gave it to the person next to him. "This really hot girl wanted you to call her." Gerard lied and the man thanked him.

"Okay, I wanna head out, and I want you to come with." Frank rubbed his face. Gerard smiled and nodded.

After Frank found Vic and Kellin, and told them he was leaving, and Gerard did the same with Mikey, Frank and Gerard were walking down the street, heading to the park.

"This is so much better than that crappy bar." Gerard took a deep breath of air and turned to Frank after he had agreed with Gerard. "Y'know... I wasn't even that drunk back there when we were talking about chicken."

Frank looked at him and rolled his eyes. "Oh my god. I thought you were trying to hit on me by using chicken as a topic." Frank laughed and Gerard shook his head.

"Nah, I was only trying to hit on you." He looked down at his feet as they walked.

"Yeah, I was trying to, too," Frank confessed and looked up at the sky. "But I sure did make you blush a lot."

"Oh shut up." They both laughed together. "It's not hard for me to blush, y'know..."

"Yeah," Frank laughed, "I've had the honor to watch you blush before my eyes."

"You sound so romantic." Gerard laughed.

Once they made it to a park, they sat down on a bench that was by a street light. They both asked about each other, and got to know what they both liked.

"You're not so bad..." Frank trailed off.

"What d'you mean?" Gerard giggled.

"Well, when you were talking about chicken earlier, I was very uncomfortable, but I told myself not to because you're very attractive." He rubbed his palms against his jeans and looked at up at Gerard who was smiling.

"I knew you weren't so bad," Gerard said quietly and looked away.

"What's that supposed to mean?" The other asked, genuinely interested in what he meant.

Gerard sighed and shook his head. "Never mind, I shouldn't have said anything..."

"No, tell me," Frank nudged Gerard, "it's alright, y'know."

"Eighth grade... Mr. Jenson's class?" He asked and Frank's eyes slowly lit up.

"Hey- I remember that class. But how...?" He looked at Gerard and his eyes widened in realization. "Fuck! I knew you looked familiar. You're Gerard Way, my middle school ex boyfriend!"

"Yeah..." Gerard trailed off.

"Holy shit, you were the best kisser man." Frank laughed. The red head blushed and looked down at his lap. "Why didn't you remind me earlier?"

He shrugged and looked back up at his ex boyfriend. "I thought it'd be weird. I dunno?"

"Damn you. You know, I'm still very pissed off. And I'm even more mad that I know I'm with you right now after what you did."

"I didn't do it! I told you before, but no you never listened to my side of the story! It was all about Jamia!" Gerard waved his hands around, getting a little mad that Frank's still holding that grudge against him.

"She saw you kissing Lindsey! Of course I was gonna listen to her!"

"Jamia only said that to get into your pants! She wanted you, but you were too blind because your ass listened to the bitch!" He shot back.

"Of course she wanted to get into my pants! Everyone did..." Frank laughed. "Including that Lindsey chick!"

"You know what?" Gerard asked, but carried on before Frank could respond. "Fuck this, fuck you, I'm leaving. You may as well delete my contact too. This was such a bad idea."

He stood up and walked away, leaving Frank to sit there alone.

When Gerard got to his house, he sighed and walked straight to his bathroom.

He needed a shower. He didn't care that it was nearing one in the morning, he needed to relieve the stress Frank brought back.

And if you were wondering, Gerard never cheated on Frank. He loved him too much to cheat on him. Especially with someone like Lindsey. Frank has changed so much in Gerard's mind; his personality and his physical appearance has changed dramatically. He doesn't mind Frank's physical appearance at all, it's just the way he held that grudge and the way his thoughts about Gerard changed when he realized that this Gerard was the same Gerard he dated back in middle school.

But the red head doesn't regret dating Frank, he never regrets anything he does. He doesn't regret the relationship because that taught him so many things about people and relationships.

The two broke up mainly because the incident with Lindsey and because they went to two different high schools. Frank's mother decided he should go to a Catholic school and Gerard wanted to go to a special art high school. But before the incident with Lindsey, the two would break up numerous times and then get back together.

Gerard's happy they broke up though, because back then, and Gerard admits, Frank was a dick.

After his shower, he climbed into bed and pulled out his phone.

One text from: Unknown

hey, it's Frank. I wanted to apologize about earlier tonight. you're right, 'fuck me', and I would still like for you to do that, but I'm more than sure you don't wanna do that now. too bad we broke up before we knew how to do sex... maybe we can start over and I can hear your side of the story? or we can just completely forget about it all? I would like to just forget about it. though your side of the story is relevant- I don't really care about it anymore, we were thirteen years old for pete's sake... I just don't wanna lose you again.

Gerard smiled at the long text message his ex boyfriend sent and began to type back.

That was sweet, Frank, it really was. And yeah, I'd be fine with starting all over again. I understand, we were thirteen years old and we were inexperienced. But I think starting all over again will be a good thing. Before I realized who you were at the bar, I liked you as a friend. But when I put the pieces together, I realized how much I missed your confident ass. That's why I first started dating you, you were confident as fuck and I miss being around that much confidence. I just don't miss being around who you were and who you apparently still are: conceited, self absorbed, and a dick. I don't like when people change for others, because it wasn't their idea, that person made them change. Maybe not intentionally, but they still did. Thanks for the apology though, I appreciate it.

And there goes Gerard, going back into the same relationship he had with Frank. This isn't just the second time, no this is more like the hundredth time Gerard has fallen for Frank tricks and games. So, here's Gerard, falling back to his depressed self again. Because when he actually thinks about it, Frank makes him sad.

Frank is Gerard's depression.

sweet, we should meet up tomorrow! I miss your kisses, Gee <33
