They walked out of the forest and Plagg followed them.  "Plagg no. You have to stay here and guard the cave." Marinette crossed her arms. Plagg lowered his head. "Go." Plagg growled and turned back into the woods. Marinette giggled and walked through the town with Adrien. They all eyed her down and she felt like she was drowning.  "Adrien I don't feel safe."

"We're almost there. I won't let anyone hurt you." Adrien smiled and Marinette smiled back.  They got to the palace gates and Nathalie opened them and glared at his guest.  "This is Marinette. She'll be staying the night."

"Your father would not approve."

"I don't care.  This is my choice." Adrien glared her down and she opened the front doors.

"It's so big!" Marinette squealed and Adrien laughed. She ran around the palace and he followed behind so she wouldn't break anything. "Your room must be as big as the forest!"

"No not that big." Adrien chuckled as they walked through the castle to his room. He opened the big double doors and she ran in. "Hey slow down!"  Adrien chuckled as he walked in. She ran around the room looking at and touching everything she could.

"This is bigger then my cave!"  Marinette squealed as she flopped onto his bed and hugged a pillow. And rubbed her face against it slowly. Like she was mesmerized to do it.

"You like my pillow I take it?" Adrien asked as he sat on the edge of his bed.

"It's so soft." Marinette looked deep into his eyes and he laughed. She blushed at his laugh and dug her head into the pillow.

"You're funny." He finally said.

"You're a Prince."

"You're my Princess." Adrien bopped her nose and she blushed more. He laughed at her blush and she giggled which made him blush.

"Adrien your father would like to speak with you." Nathalie said through the door. "Now."

Adrien sighed. "Duty calls." Marinette giggled as he stood up.  "I'll be right back. Stay here."

"See you soon."

"See you soon." Adrien smiled and left to his fathers office. When he left Marinette got off his bed and walked around his room. He took a deep breath before entering the doors.  "You called me Father?"

"Yes." Gabriel turned to face Adrien and sat at his desk. "Take a seat." Adrien sat down. "Where did you go? You missed an important meeting about your future."

"I was taking a walk." Adrien lied.

"Well your guests are still here. They are in the great room. You are dismissed." Gabriel turned in his chair and Adrien sighed. He went into the great room and was greeted by two royal families. The Bourgeois' of the south and the Rossi's of Italy.  Adrien sighed and sat down in between the families.

"Sorry for my absence in our original meeting plan. I went for a walk and lost track of time." Adrien apologized.

"That's quite alright Prince. I am Queen Amber Bourgeois of the south and this is my husband Andre Bourgeois and our daughter Chloe." Chloe bowed to Adrien.

"I am Queen Kimber Rossi of Italy. This is my husband Phin Rossi and our daughter Lila." Lila bowed.

"It is nice to meet you both." Adrien bowed to them. He knew what was happening.  "But I am sorry to inform you that I am not looking to wed at the moment."

"But Prince you are the only one in line to take the thrown when you turn 16. We can combine our kingdoms together-" Adrien stopped him.

"I am not looking to wed at the moment. When I am I will have someone inform you but that moment is not now. Good day."  Adrien left the room and went back to his. Marinette sat back on his bed when she heard the door creak open. She sat on his bed and looked out the window. Adrien lied down on the bed and put his head on her lap.

"What happened?" She giggled and ran her hand through his hair.

"My father is insisting I get married before I turn 16 and rule over the kingdom but I don't want to get married."

"Then don't get married.  Do what makes you happy." Marinette smiled and Adrien smiled back.  when night fell Adrien gave Marinette his bed and he slept on the couch in his room. When Marinette woke up Adrien was gone. "A-adrien?" She looked around the room but couldn't find him. "This isn't funny where are you."

"Sorry I had a meeting."  Adrien apologized as he walked into the room. Marinette ran up to him and hugged him before he could close the door.

"You scared me! I thought you left me here by myself!"  Marinette cried into his chest.

"I would never leave you alone unless you wanted me too." Adrien hugged her back. They let go and sat on Adrien couch and talked. "Do you like it here or what?"

"A little but that's only because you're nice to me but in the village everyone is rude and heartless." Marinette sighed.

"Do you wanna go back?" Adrien asked. After a few moments Marinette slightly nodded.  Adrien sighed and reached for her hand. "Let me take you back." He smiled and Marinette took his hand. They walked out of the castle and through the village. They got to the forest and Marinette looked deep into his eyes. "See you later."

"Promise you'll come back." Marinette pouted.

"I never break a promise." Adrien smiled and kissed the back of her hand. "I'll see you later Princess."

"See you later." Marinette smiled and went into the forest while Adrien went back to his castle. Little did they know someone was watching them.
