"Hey!  Kara !" I looked back once I heard Cameron

"Hey Cameron!"

"you ready for our date ?"

"sure"

"C'mon my car is in the parking lot of the college"

"ok"

We got to Cameron's car it was a white Mercedes very luxury but nothing compared to Derek's

We quickly got to the restaurant and maybe I'm hallucinating but I felt like someone was following us

"I love Ben & Susie's " Cameron stated once we got in the restaurant

" I know" I laughed

We sat on our usual seat waiting for Susie to come.

"oh hello! I haven't seen you two in a while! How are you dears ?" Susie asked

"We are good, and you and Ben?" Cameron said

"Always working thank God!" she smiled " Will you want the usual ?" we both nodded and smiled at each other. The date went pretty good, we talked a lot and laughed a lot and maybe even flirted a little bit.

"Stay here I'll pay" he said and I nodded. Damn, I missed him he so cute and gentle to me. As I was happily dreaming with Cameron I watched someone in a black car looking at me through the window I took the curtains to get a better view and the car vanished away. Weird. Very weird. Maybe it's Derek he probably followed me to 'protect me'.

"Hey it's done" Cameron said derailing my train of thoughts " Let's take you home"

[10 min later]

"Thanks for the ride, Cameron"

"Thank you, for lunch! I really enjoyed it" I smiled to his words

"See you tomorrow "

"See you tomorrow, babe" he said winking at me leaving me with a blush on my face

Once I opened the door the sound of laughs caught my attention I followed the sound till the living room. I saw Martin and Derek with Nerf guns one in each side of of the room. The living room looked more like a battlefield, Martin was covered in his bunker made of the center table and some pillows, Derek was on the other side in his bunker made of pillows and sofa.

"Hey princess" Derek said " Catch" and he threw me a Nerf. I didn't had any option this was WAR 

I hide beyond the sofa I watched Martin carefully and suddenly Derek stands up and gives a war scream walking straight to Martin. My brother started to laugh like a mad man and I did the same but then my little bro betrayed Derek and tried to shot him, I took the chance and I shoot Martin once he was out his bunker .

Martin fell into the floor laughing and Derek was confused he looked back and I lifted an eyebrow he smiled at me and quickly hide in Martin's bunker. I took the opportunity to move place so i could take a better shot.

"Princess, don't be afraid I don't bite" Derek said and Martin on the floor couldn't stop laughing he only said between laughs "You're so dead K"

"Shhhh" i told him

I walked closer to the bunker so I could catch Derek by surprise. Once closer to the fort of pillows Derek jumps from there and catch me, we both fall into the floor...

"gotcha ya" Derek said, i smiled and responded "No, I gotcha ya" after these words i shot him with the Nerf i had in my right hand.

" OH MY GOD KARA WON WHATTTTTT" Martin said leaving the room and telling everyone about the last events, by everyone I mean Johanna, Hulk, Thor and Cora. He left us there and we stood there in the same position.

Derek's face was closer to mine, it wasn't the first time we both were in this situation,our breathes interwiened themselves, our eyes couldn't left each other and our bodies were glued.

"I must say that was impressive" he said in a low tone

"Well sometimes I do impressive things"

"Like coming home late?"

"Well..."

"Where were you?"

"out"

"good, doing ?"

"eating"

"why can't you just say what were you doing?Was something illegal ?"

"what?" I said taking him off of me "No, I was on a date"

"Oh, a date" he said suprised for a moment it seemed like he didnt knew the meaning of the word 'date'.

"Yes"

"with the douchebag?"

"His name his Cameron"

"Did you had fun?"

Yeah, but not has much as I had with you - I though

"Lots of fun"

"Well then I guess, it's okay" he said walking away . WOW i never thought it would be this easier

Derek's POV :

A DATE, ok, a date, well that's fine, right? I mean why wouldn't be fine ? right?

And he is her ex boyfriend they probably now each other very well so no problem my job its to protect her from now on I'll see where she goes and with who, that's it that's my job

"A ...Mr.Connor" I quickly looked back to where the voice was coming

"oh uhm Hi Johanna "

"Cora took care of the boy, she already left. Kara is eating dinner in her room do you need anything?"

The days passed and things got worse at least in my eyes. I woke up I got dressed I dropped Kara at school I ate breakfast I came back to check on everyone in the house I talked to Aiden on the phone to know if he had already find out something I would go back to the college I watched Kara and Cameron have a date and change flirty gazes and comments and bla bla bla I almost throwed up I got home I played some charades or Nerf with Martin and with Kara I ate dinner and I would go to sleep .

It was a tired routine but it was my job. I was now at home I finished my dinner and I was preparing myself to watch some movies when I hear a car outside.

I got up from the sofa and watched through the window CAmeron waiting outside the gate. Weird.

I went to Kara's room to tell her the arsehole was outside. I knocked on the door a couple of times but NOTHING. I called her but NOTHING. I took my razor to open Kara's door and once i got in there wasn't no Kara. Her room was clean everything was ok but her window was opened I walked to the balcony and there it was some sheets wrapped around each other giving acess to the ground floor . I looked to the gate and there she was climbing the gate and quickly entering Cameron's car.

She's so done

I didnt know to where she was going so i searched around the room she knew she couldn't do this kind of thing, she knew she would come out as victorious, so she had to left a clue

"here it is" I found a picture of her with Cameron, she knew it would be the first thing I would search for. on the back site of the photo it was a note.
