For a while, it looks as though Flicker's holo-fig is going to lose. Then, in a last-ditch show of strength, her figure shoves off the boy's and attacks with a new ferocity. Within seconds, Flicker's holo-fig has the boy's pinned.

The crowd erupts in hoots and cheers. The boy clenches his jaw, fury written across his face as people jeer at him. Flicker watches him with a small, self-satisfied smile.

The woman passes her a wad of cash thicker than her original and Flicker turns off her holo-fig, shoving both the cash and the remote into her pocket. She stands and leaves.
