*Liams P.O.V*
I am awoken to sunlight glistening through the curtains. I yawn and stretch my arms. I turn my head to see Luke still asleep, his messy hair surrounding his face. I get up, and walk as quietly as possible over to the drawers, and pull up a plain white top, and some trousers. I also grab a towel ok my way to the bathroom.

I have a quick shower and get changed into my clothes. Today was Sunday, so still no lessons. I walk back into the dorm room to find Luke still asleep on his bed.

I smile softly to myself, but am cut off my a rumble. I realise how hungry I am. I'm torn between staying with Luke and going down to breakfast. After another rumble I decide on the latter. I scribble a quick note saying where I am before hurrying off downstairs.

When I get there I grab a plate and have bacon, eggs, sausages and some toast. I also grab a cup of orange juice. I walk over to a table with only one other person on it. It was a girl, with ginger hair and emerald eyes.

"Hi! Mind if I sit here?" I ask

"Sure, go ahead." She says.

"My names Liam, what's yours?

"Andrea. Nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too"

We sit and chat for a while, before I notice it's been over an hour.

"Well it was nice talking to you. I have to go and check on my roommate now." I say

"Ok bye. Hope to see you around!" She says smiling.

"Yep. See you around!" I say before heading back to my dorm. I close The door behind me, and at that point Luke starts to wake up.

" Luke! You've been asleep for ages you missed breakfast!" I exclaim

"Hmm?" He mumbles sleepily.

"I said, you've missed breakfast. That's how long you where asleep"

"Aww. But I'm hungry." He says sleepily.

"Here, have some toast I brought up for you.

He mumbles something that sounds like a thanks, before biting into the toast.

Luke wolfs the toast down, before telling me he's gonna get changed. I sit and watch as he walks into the bathroom with a towel and a change of clothes.
I lie down on my bed and stare at the ceiling for a bit, while waiting for Luke to come out the bathroom. My phone buzzes and I realise that it's my mum.

Mum: hey sweetie! How are you. Do you have a roommate? Hope your ok. Lots of love. Mum xoxo.

Liam: hey mum. Yea I'm fine thx. I do have roommate yes. His name is Luke. Xoxo

Mum: Is he cute?!

Liam: what?!?

Mum:Well I know your gay and I wanna know if you think he's cute

I mentally facepalm before replying.

Liam:he's cute and all, but he doesn't seem to like people.

Mum:we'll have you made any friends other than him?

Liam:oh yea. There was this one girl. Andrea. She's pretty nice.

Mum: Good. Nice to know your making friends, didn't know you where capable of it. :P.

Liam: wow... such betrayal.

Mum:I'm only joking! Love u really. :) x

Liam: ...

Mum: so anything happened yet, with. You know what?

Liam: surprisingly not yet. It tends to happen randomly though.

Mum: remember, any warning signs that something is going to happen, you run. Ok?

Liam: yes mum. I know.

Mum: ok I'll leave you now. Love you. Bye xoxo

Liam:bye. Xoxo

He turned his phone off and put it away just as Luke walked through the door. Dressed in his black hoodie and jeans. He still had bags under his eyes.

"Sleep well?" I asked him.

"Not really,no." He replied

"Wanna talk about it."

"Nope"

"Ok then.."

"Well I'm gonna take a walk."

"Ok then. Bye!" I said as he walked out the door.
I grab my phone from the side of my bed and decide to check social media.

"Wooo. Look at how popular I am. A whole 1 notification." I mutter

It's a notification from wattpad, saying one of my favourite fanfics has been updated.

"Woohooo!! Finally!" I exclaim, as I open the app to read it.

About halfway into the chapter I feel a shooting pain across my back.

"For gods sake! Not now!!" I say before rushing to the bathroom and locking the door.

Just as I Shut the door, I hear the sound of the dorm one opening.

"Liam?" I hear a voice say.

"Yes?" I reply.

"Where are you?"

"Bathroom"

"Can I come in?"

"NO! I mean. No. I'm on the toilet?" I say.

"Err ok then.."

I start to panic as the pain gets worse and worse.

After about a minute, it stops.

I walk over to the mirror.

There are two white feathered wings coming from my back.
