A dark haired boy arrived at the school. Carrying a small duffel bag which was slung over his shoulder. He had messy crow black hair and dark grey eyes he had a thin scar running from his neck to his collarbone. He sighed as he realised he would have to be sharing his room with someone. He didn't really like social interaction. He preferred to stay by himself. Less chance of accidentally letting anything slip. He walked slowly to his new dorm room. After a while of looking for it he finally found it. He opened to door and discovered that his roommate hadn't arrived yet. He silently hoped that they would be someone quiet so he could keep himself to himself and be on their ways. But oh how wrong he was.
He was halfway through unpacking his bag when a boy with silver hair and Icey blue eyes bounced into the room.

"HI! I'm guessing your my roommate! Nice to meet you. My name is Liam. What's yours?"

This boy sure does talk a lot. He thought.
"Luke" he muttered.

"Well it's nice to meet you Luke!!"

"Yea sure" Luke said before continuing to unpack his bag. He didn't have very many belongings, as his house had been burnt down not that long ago. Burning everyone and everything inside of it. Including his parents and younger sister. Before that he was a bit more social. But after that incident he completely shut himself off from everyone.

"So Luke, How we you?!" Liam announced.

"Fine" Luke mumbled

"You don't talk a lot do you?"Liam asked
He may have been loud but at least he wasn't stupid. Thought Luke.

"No" he replied simply.

"Well imma head down to the main office to collect my timetable and get some lunch, wanna come??!" He asked.

Luke decided that he had nothing better to be doing at the moment, seeing as he has already unpacked his bag.

"Sure" he sighed.

"Yay!" Liam exclaimed.

The two boys walked down the office, the shorter (Liam) was practically skipping down there, while Luke was kind of walking. Not bothering to keep up with him.

About 2 minutes later they both arrived at the office.

"Hello there!" The reception lady said.

"Hi!" Liam said.

"I assume your here to collect you time tables?" She asked kindly

"Yep" Liam replied

"Ok and what are you names?"

"Well I'm Liam smith and he is.."
"Luke Baker"

"Ok then. Just a moment while I print them off."
She then turns around and proceeds to print two timetables off.

"Here you go!" She says, while handing them to Luke and Liam with a smile.

"Have a nice day!" She says before they walk off.

"Can i see if I have any of the same classes as you?!?!" Liam exclaims excitedly.

"Sure" Luck says, handing him his timetable.
About twenty seconds o comparing later he hears a

"WE HAVE DOUBLE ART TOGETHER!! YAY!" Liam shouts

"Shh quiet down. What's so great about that?" Luke says.

That's probably the most I've actually said to him. He thinks.

"Well I was was just really worried that no one would like me and that I wouldn't know where to go or anything, but at least I have you!!" He finishes.

"You barely know me!" Luke says with a sigh.

"Yes but I could get to know you. We could be friends. Please. I really hate being alone!" Liam says with a pleading look in his eyes.

"Pleeeaassseee!?" He asks again

Knowing that he would only keep pestering him if he didn't give him an answer, and not wanting to hurt the small boys feelings he decided to agree.

"Fine, sure. Whatever" Luke sighed

"Yay. Thank you!" Liam said happily.

They then start to walk to the big canteen. Liam buys a Cheese and onion chutney sandwich, a small chocolate chip muffin, and a Ribena. Luke buys a BMT (AN: that's ham, salami and chorizo btw) and a flavoured water.

"Your not getting dessert!?" Liam exclaimed

"Nope" Luke reply's.

"Why!! Dessert is amazing!!"

"Yea but I just didn't feel like any." Luke says.

"Fine whatever, but you could have brought one and given it to me!" Liam pouts.

"Anyway, I found a table." Luke says.

"Ok."

The two boys then sit at the table and start to eat their sandwiches.

"Wow. There's a lot of meat in that sandwich!" Liam says.

"And? I like meat." Luke reply's.

"Weird..." Liam says

"I could say the same about yours, what even is that?" Luke asks

"Cheese with onion chutney." Liam reply's

"Ewwww" Luke says.

"Don't diss it till you try it!" Liam exclaims.

"It's really nice. Here try some." Liam says breaking a piece off.

"Errr.. no thanks" Luke says.

"Come on. Please?!" Liam pleads

"Urgh. Fine" luke sighs.

"Yay!" Liam then proceeds to give Luke the piece of his sandwich.

"Soooo. What do you think?!" Asks Liam

"It's actually not that bad." Luke answers.

"Seeee! I told you!"

"Whatever"

They both finish up their dinner before heading back to their dorm. Luke sits back on his bed, and plugs his earphone in, before blasting Fall Out Boy really loud in his ears.

He checks his watch. 15:56. He still had half a day left to do nothing. He decided to take a walk around the grounds of the school, to find out where all his classes where going to be. Liam had fallen asleep.
Good. I finally get some peace and quiet.
He turns his phone off and leaves it to charge.

~time skip to 3 hours later.~

Luke had got back from his walk around the school and now had a general idea where everything was. It was about 7 o clock, so he decided to wake Liam to go and get something to eat.

They both end up getting lasagne before heading back to their dorm. Liam collapsed back onto his head and so did Luke. Luke ended up staying awake for a while, but his last thought before going to sleep was this.

This sure is gonna be one boring year.

But oh how wrong could he be.
