*Flashback*

"Megan! You better get your ass off the couch and come to my house right now!" I yelled

"Why? What's the matter Tia?" She asked sounding as monotone as ever

"Wow. I appreciate the concern M. I just need help. Pleaseee just come. You live like 2 streets down." I said in a whiny tone

"Okay okay.  I'll be there in 5 minutes." She said and hung up.

By the time she was here I had all my clothes, shampoos and face washes my bed and 2 bags out for the storage.

"Woah! What are you doing?" Megan said walking up behind me which startled me

"Well. Thanks for knocking." I said and went behind her to shut the door.

"Answer me Tia. Where do you think your going?" She said jumping on my bed and laying on all my clothes

"Well... I have 2 weeks off from school. So I was thinking of going to Cali to surprise Matt, cuz I couldn't make it on our 8 months anniversary I thought I could just go now and make up for it." I said sitting down on the red couch which was in my room beside the window

"That's a stupid idea." She said looking at me

But before I could say anything she went "I'm dropping to the airport when again?"

That's when we both started laughing.

"In 2 hour. That's why I need your help packing." I said putting my hair up in a ponytail

"Okay! Let's get started!" She said

"Noooo. Not yet. Start the music and then I'll get started." I said tossing her my phone

"As you wish my majesty." She said laughing and turned on the music

- 2 hours later -

"I'm really really excited for you." Megan said squeezing my shoulders

"I'm excited as well." I said and hugged her

"Make sure you film it okay?" She said her smile from ear to ear

"I promise." I said

"Flight 453 to California leaves in 25 minutes." The PA announced

"Well. That's my call. See you soon bestie." I said and gave her a long and tight hug

"Byee! Have fun!" She said and I turned to leave

"I LOVE YOU!" She yelled and I turned back and started laughing so hard

I stood in the long line waiting for my turn to come so I could just get on that plane.

As I kept waiting I felt my phone vibrate in my back pocket.

I pulled It out to see that I had a text from Matt, I was just going to ignore the message when the first line caught my attention "I'm so sorry Tia."

Those 3 words scared me so I decided to open up the text to reveal a long message from Matthew.

What in the world?

"I'm so sorry Tia, but I can't do this anymore. I'm too tired of this long distance relationship. It's hard not being able to hug you or kiss you and always having to talk to you on FaceTime or snapchat. It hurts my heart knowing that I can only see my baby a few times a year, and even those times barely last. I think it's time that I said this and I know that you were also thinking this but it's over T. We are over. Forever. Just know that I will always love you no matter what Tia. I always will."

And that's when the hot tears started to roll down my cheek. I couldn't see anything. My heart was racing so fast that I was having trouble breathing. I was frozen. I couldn't move.

"Mam? Mam?" A lady like voice called out to me.

"I'm sorry." I said and turned around and walked right out the airport.

*Falshback over*
