Sky's POV

I walked back to the budder castle. By the time I got there it was nearly nightime, the sun was setting, coloring the sky rainbow. I sighed, 'why did that guy save me? I mean, we're on different sides.' I think as I push open one of the doors.

As soon as I step inside and am tackled by someone. I push them off of me to see that it's Mitch.

"Dood! Are you okay?" He asks, with a worried expression on his face.

I nod, and respond "I'm fine dude."

"I saw the squids push you off the cliff," says Ty, coming over to us. "How did you make it back? And so quickly, at that."

I shrugged, "someone saved me I guess, when I woke up I was on the beach, several meters away from the ocean."

"So you don't know who it was?" Asked Mitch.

"Yeah," I reply, "anyways I'm pretty tired so I'm gonna head up to my room" and I walk towards the staircase and I   can feel there stares as I leave. I go to my room and shut the door behind me. I walked over to my bed and, literally, fall onto it. I roll over, with one arm on my stomach, and the other on my forehead. As I lay on my bed, a million questions pop up, 'how long did the battle last after I fell? How many casualties were there? Did anyone else try to save me? Did everyone think I died or something? Who was that 'squid' dude that saved me?' These thoughts, and more swirled around my brain as I fall into an uneasy sleep.

Squid's POV

After he walks away, I turn and head back to the ocean. As I'm walking, something hits my head. "What the....?" I mumble, looking around, I see no one and shrug it off, turning back to the water. Before I take a few more steps, something else hits me in the shoulder, much harder than the last object, and it sets me off balance, almost knocking me over. When I catch my balance, I whip around, scanning the scenery.

"Who's there!?" I yell, "show yourself!" I hear some faint giggling, and turn in its general direction. As I'm walking towards the sound, something comes flying from the bushes, I dodge it and smirk, 'Gotcha' I think to myself. I walk over to the bush and push aside the branches, revealing a couple of kids. There was a boy and a girl.

They were facing away from me, so I said "boo!" Making them jump and turn around. They looked at me wide eyed, and tried to run, but I grabbed their shirt collars, keeping them from escaping.

"So," I say, looking at the two,"what were you throwing at me, and why?"

The boy spoke up first, "we were just h-having fun," he says, stuttering a bit, "we were just throwing pebbles."

I nod slowly,"are your guys' parents near here? It's getting dark, and I don't think you two should be out alone at night."

The girl speaks up this time, "we live in the city, in the budder castle actually, our parents live there aswell, since they're high ranked."

I sigh and let them go, "okay," I say, pulling cout my diamond sword, "let's go." And we set off towards the castle.

I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter! I know I enjoyed writing it! Who do you think those kids are? Who do you think their parents are? Anywho....
