Chapter Eight
Heather (White): Protection; Wishes will come true
The little girl sat quietly on a clearing all alone as the sun glared down at her. She was making a flower crown out of the beautiful white heathers she found nearby. Heathers were the little girl's favorite flowers, and she was very happy to find some of them here.
The little girl then finishes the flower crown. She smiles at the crown happily. 'I'll give this to Bill later,' the little girl thought as she then imagined Bill wearing the flower crown.
"What are you doing here, kid?" A tall slender man with blonde hair suddenly asks, surprising the little girl.
"B-Bill!" she punches the man lightly on the arm. "Don't scare me like that!" the little girl says to the the man, a pout visible on her face. The man smirks at the little girl then sits beside her on the grass.
The man looks at the little girl then swipes the flower crown from her hands. "Hey!" the little girl exclaims as she tries to take back the flower crown from the man but the man was too quick for her.
"Who's this for kid?" the man asks the little girl while carefully examining the flower crown in his hands. The little girl lets out a sigh then says, "It's for you, Bill. I was going to give it to you later but it seems you want it now,"
The man raises an eyebrow. "For me, why?" he asks the little girl, who smiles timidly at him. "When I saw the white heathers here, I immediately thought of you Bill!" the little girl exclaims happily.
The man smiles at the little girl then puts on the flower crown. "Now the ladies all over the world can't resist me," he says to the little girl, winking. The little girl lets out a giggle. "Oh Bill,"
The man lets out a chuckle then looks at the little girl with a blank expression. "Say (y/n), why are you here alone? Aren't children your age supposed to play with their friends?" the man says to the little girl.
The little girl's smile fades away and is now replaced with a sad frown. She looks up at the sky then says, "The children in the village don't like me that much..." she mumbles out, her eyes now a void of emotion. The man looks at the little girl, now regretting what he said. "Hey, don't mind them. They don't know how special you are (y/n)," the man says as he pulls the little girl closer to him. He then flashes her a lazy grin. "Besides, you got me right? A dream demon who makes the ladies fawn over him,"
The little girl chuckles at the man then rests her head on his chest. "Yeah, I guess you're right Bill,"

[ You ]
Days passed and you haven't seen Bill at all, even in your dreams. You were outside sitting on a bench somewhere with Mabel today physically, but your mind was elsewhere as you thought of a specific floating triangle.
You were very conflicted. You didn't know whether to feel worried or very angry. Bill had promised to visit you in your dreams everyday or until you die, why would he break his promise like that?
Well, your dreams weren't boring at least. Scenes played through your dreams like a movie. They didn't really make any sense to you at all. It was always about a white haired girl with soft amethyst eyes and a tall man with blonde hair who apparently was Bill. So you guessed in a way, Bill was still in your dreams.
But who was that girl? She was very beautiful, with her long silvery white hair, pale skin and roundish almond shaped amethyst eyes. You couldn't help but feel frustrated. You were so confused with everything happening. Why were you having these dreams? Why was Bill with that little girl? Nothing made any sense to you now...
"Hey (y/n)?" Mabel's voice suddenly echoes through your mind causing you to leave your thoughts. You turn to Mabel. "Yeah?" you mutter out as you tried to take your mind off of Bill. "Are you okay?" she asks you.
You forced out a small smile. "I- yeah... Yeah I am..."
Mabel flashes you a relieved smile then stands up and takes your arm. "Come on! I saw a really weird blue tent earlier that I want to check out!" Mabel says to you as she pulls you up from where you sat. You let out a sigh before smiling at Mabel and nodding. "Sure, let's go,"
Apparently, the blue tent Mabel was talking about was the blue tent set up beside your house. You didn't really take notice of it until now. You overhear two people passing by say that there was some kind of show that was going to happen inside.
The tent was tall and huge, with a weird star on its tip. The star had an eye on its center which immediately made you think of Bill again. You quickly shook your head and followed Mabel, who was entering the tent.
The two of you sat down on one of the benches neatly placed inside and waited for the show to start. When the shown started, you were in complete awe.
'What phony and fake magic tricks,' you thought as a thirteen year old white haired boy with gleaming blue eyes guessed Mabel's name. Mabel, who was wearing a brightly colored sweater with her name on it, gasps and was completely amazed.
You let out a sigh, your forehead crinkled. You couldn't believe this show, and how the people were somehow amazed. You'd rather be outside circling the town than to watch this show. So, without hesitation you excused yourself to Mabel, saying that you needed some fresh air, then exited the tent.
When you were finally outside, you decided to wander around for a bit but reminding yourself to not wander off to far because Mabel was still inside enjoying the show. You walk into the forest that was just behind the tent, thoughts now blank and empty.
You were just walking like a robot on automatic. You didn't really know where you were going but you kept walking. Pretty soon, you found yourself standing in the middle of a clearing where the sun shone down at you. The clearing was covered with beautiful white flowers, which soothed you for some unknown reason.
You walked over to a patch of flowers, just pluck one out but hidden in the patch of flowers you walked over to was a metal box. Curiously, you take the bow in your hands.
'What is a thing like this doing out here in the woods?,' you thought as you examined the box. It was rusted a little but it seemed to be in good condition.
You then open the box, and the things inside made you widen your eyes. A circlet of dried up and dead flowers were inside along with a handful of white hair that was tied up by a red ribbon.
"Run! I'll distract them!" a deep voice suddenly booms through your head causing you to look around frantically. Suddenly, two men appear before you. One was your father but with blonde hair and Bill. They both had frantic expressions on their faces.
"No Father! I can't leave you behind too!" you hear yourself scream out as you tried to embrace your father. Arms wrapped themselves around your body stopping you from going to your father.
You look behind you to see Bill, who wore a very worried expression. He looks up at your father, who nods at him. Bill then carries you in bridal style then starts to run. "Bill! We have to go back to father! We need to stay with him!" you tried to escape from Bill but he was too strong for you.
"I'm sorry (y/n), but I made a promise that I'd protect you," Bill says to you as he continues to run further away from your father. "
There! I see them!" Men in weird clothes suddenly emerged from the trees and surrounded your father. "By order of the law, you are under arrest Robert (l/n) for crimes against the kingdom, using dark magic, conspiring with a demon and raising a demon child!" a man, who was probably the leader of the strange men, says to your father. Your father frowns at them then flicks his fingers.
Gold sabers appear in the air and fall into your father's hands. Your father strikes and slashes at every man near him. Blood decorates the patch of grass he stood on like paint on an easel.
The men who managed to get away and dodge his attacks raise their swords at him, their blades glinting because of the setting sun.
"How dare thee raise thy blade at a demigod," your father says to them coldly. You stare at him, confused as Bill soon exits the clearing and enters the trees.
The one last thing you saw was your father look at you with a sad smile.
