Chapter 2

"Hey, can you get me a glass of that drink?" I called the waiter and pointed towards the guy who had a glass of something which I desperately wanted to taste.
I was not sure of what it was, but the slender look of the glass with a slice of lemon in its side made me want to have it.
"Yes ma'am, will be here in two minutes." The waiter held up his index finger and middle finger signalling two minutes.
I smiled to myself, finally life is a little less stressful. School is over, no more home works and no more physics & its dreadful laws.
"Hey, hey over there!" My friend nudged me with her elbow.
"That hot guy is looking at you!" She squealed. And in response, I rolled my eyes.
"As if I care." I replied in a blunt way.
"Whooooo sassy pants, what's gotten into you?" She nudged me again.
I hated when people nudged me. And she knew that very well.
"Amber, you should really stop nudging me." I glared at her.

Oh! My drink arrived. I smiled to myself.
"What's it called?" I asked the waiter.
"Blue Lagoon." He smiled at me.
"Thanks." I handed him the tip and he waved off in the crowd and vanished.
Blue Lagoon. This name intrigued me.
I took a sip of my drink only to find my friend dancing it off to the music on the dance floor.
I glanced my eyes towards the room and found the guy sipping his drink which was Blue Lagoon too. Oh, so it was him who I pointed to because he was wearing the same clothes. I tried to have a clear look at his face and I could notice that he had blue eyes. The lights reflected through his eyes and made those orbs shine.
Why the hell am I checking out a stranger? I asked myself.
I took another sip of my drink and I was pretty proud of myself, because I loved the drink.
It was indeed having the looks of a blue lagoon and surely tasted refreshing. And to your notice, it wasn't alcohol.
I pulled my friend and we talked a little.
Strange how time passes so quickly, and life changes so dramatically.
After having talked and danced, we went to our respective homes.
I parked my car and unlocked my house.
I turned on the lights and chose to sleep on the couch itself.
The night ended that way.
