Chapter 1

I started my journey from my home.
I was walking. And walking.
And apparently, walking.
My mind was wandering off, thinking about strange things that could happen. But still, I kept on walking.
The street felt empty as I went further. The clouds started to gather around the sky, making the surroundings a lot more darker.
One thing I knew for sure. There won't be any rain. The wind was so hard, it almost blew me to the side and I had to hold on to the crisp, wooden branch of a tree to control myself.
The wind from the sides was making my dress move upwards which was not so comfortable for me.
I took a grasp of the silk material with my one hand and still held the branch with the other.

No one was here. Not a single being.
I wanted to go further but the wind was my hurdle.
It was getting darker as each second passed and I could hear the crisp of the dried leaves from across the street.
The wind was making howling sounds and I was liking it.
A wave of rush hit me when I fell on my knee and grunted due to falling on the stone-hard ground.
I was still holding on to the tree for support.
I tried to get up, but failed miserably due to the silk cloth which was engulfing me in a ball gown.
Yes, I ran away. I ran from one of the most special moments of my life. Why? Simple.

I didn't know what to do.

I was, and still am, lost.
