When I wake up I find myself in my yellow bed.

I sigh and sit up.

It's night and I can see the sleeping figures of my teammates in each of their beds.

I lay back down and think. Did I sleep through our free day? Did we win? If I did sleep through the results I know we didn't lose, we're still here!

"Blitz? You awake?" A familiar voice whispers sleepily.

"Yep. Go back to sleep Neve." I breath back.

She yawns, "Just thought you should know, you slept through the free day. We came in first again." Her voice gets quieter as she talks.

I smile in the dark. We won. We beat the Black Serpents.

"The stupid snakes.....came in second." She breathes to me, followed by a small snore.

My smile dims, but doesn't go away. We still won.

Who left? I look over at Neve but she's asleep.

"The Water Horses left."

I turn, startled, to my other side to see Anemos.

"Thanks." I whisper. The boy nods and turns on his side. I yawn and do the same, soon fast asleep.

. . .

The next morning when the man takes us to the boring grey room, we are all very nervous. The pressure is on.

"Snow Ferrets,
Welcome to the fighting round! The Black Serpents and the Iron Wasps will go first. You will go against the losing team. The losing team of that fight will leave the Harmony Games. You have to keep your white flag away from the opposing team while trying to get their flag. You have twenty minutes before the doors will open. Good Luck." Ignis reads aloud.

"Hmm...." Anemos thinks, tapping his chin.

"What?" Nero asks.

"We're going to need a battle plan." Anemos says, not looking at Nero.

"How about we decide who will go for which elementalist." Terro suggests.

Anemos nods, "Good idea."

Kin looks at Nero, "I think Nero should go against the fire elementalist."

Anemos nods, "Yeah, and Blitz should go for the water elementalist."

Ten minutes later and we have the matchings. I would go for the water elementalist, Nero would go for the fire one, Terro would go for the lightning one, Ignis would go for the ice one, Neve would go for the metal one, Kin would go for the earth one, and Anemos would go for the other air one.

"We still have time." Kin says.

"Maybe we should do something to surprise them." Anemos muses.

"We could make it rain." Nero suggests.

"Or snow." Neve comments.

"Yeah! We could make a storm! That'll catch them off guard!" Ignis exclaims evilly.

"With lightning and everything." Terro confirms with a nod.

We smile but I can tell everyone feels the pressure by the way their smiles seem forced. I feel it too.

If we lose we go home. We go home. It would mean that all we did was for nothing. We would be considered failures.

I feel my hands clench at my sides.

We won't lose. I won't let us lose, we can do this. I won't let Dad down, I won't.

I feel my fists loosen at my sides.

I can't.

Suddenly the bell rings, making us all jump. The doors swing open and we all share a glance before running through them, preparing our elements, when we see what's in front of us.

In front of us is just a field. A huge field. I see the Black Serpents walk smugly across the arena into a metal door, someone waving a white flag proudly. Standing in front of us is a beat up team. The Iron Wasps.

I look down. The ground is wet, burnt, ripped, irregular and some parts are frozen. I gulp.

"Are you ready?" A voice booms. I turn to see the leaders seated on a balcony above us.

I glance at the rest of my team. Anemos nods.

Mr. Petram smiles at us, "Begin."

Instantly Anemos and Nero get to work. They move at the same time. Anemos twirls around and a huge cloud forms above the Iron Wasps. Nero does the same thing and the cloud starts to rain.

I shove my hands forward and concentrate on the cloud, reaching into the vast amount of electricity in my Shinju. The cloud starts sparking and then it booms.

I smile at the Iron Wasps faces. They are all staring at the storm in confusion and surprise. Lightning shoots down from the cloud and is about to strike the water elementalist, a girl, before Pointy Nose, who is on this team, makes the bolt curve and harmlessly shock the ground.

I frown and decide to attack. As instructed I go for the water girl.

I feel the familiar sensation of Darting, smiling as everything around me slows down as though everyone is moving in molasses.

This is too easy.

I run over to the water girl, smirking as I see her face break into surprise as my hands land on her arm. I release some of the electricity in me and she spasms before falling to the ground, out cold.

Suddenly I am shoved from behind and fall to the ground, the feeling of Darting disappearing. I slam into the hard ground and a body is on top of me, increasing the pain I feel on my side.

I start Darting again and try to wriggle out, but the body on top of me moves at the same speed I am.

I curse. It must be Pointy Nose.

I turn around and, sure enough, see the lightning boy. He is on me, his hand about to hit me. The ring with the wasp on it flashes in the light and I get an idea.

Just as he's about to hit me with the ring's sharp stinger, I grab his arm and shove his own hand at him with all my might. The wasp cuts his chest and his eyes widen before he falls off me, his eyes drenched in fear.

I frown. Why is he so scared? It's just a cut!

Then I see it. A purple ooze drips out of the end of the wasps needle and I hiss. The cheaters! They put some sort of poison in the wasps stinger's!

I Dart away from him in disgust before looking around. All the others are fighting who they were assigned to except for Terro, who is helping Nero fight the fire elementalist, and Neve, who is helping Anemos with the other wind elemetalist.

I frown. That means......

"Stop!"

I look up at the balcony to see Mr. Angin looking at us, a smile on his face. I feel my heart drop and glance over at our flag. My heart sinks even lower as I see it being waved in the air proudly in the hands of the metal elementalist, a huge smile on her face.

What? No! We can't lose! That means we'll have to go home and- I gasp. Dad! He's still hurt! What will I do? I had to win for him!

I let him down. What's going to happen? I can't even imagine the shame. Dad will be so ashamed...and hurt. Will he go bankrupt?

I start to get angry at myself. Why couldn't I get Pointy Nose off me sooner?!?

I growl at myself. I shouldn't have gone for the water girl, I should have gone for the flag right away! It's all my fault.

I couldn't do it. I failed.

I'm sorry Dad, I'm sorry Snow Ferrets. I think.

I let them down.

I lost.

And now it's all over. We're going to go home.

We lost.

"Congratulations Iron Wasps! You will be-" Kuki City's leader starts, but is interrupted by a woman running over and whispering something in his ear.

His smile slides off his face as he listens and is replaced by a frown. He whispers something back to the woman, who nods, and turns back to us.

"There seems to be a change of plans." The man says into his microphone, "The Iron Wasps were caught cheating. The Snow Ferrets made it to the next round!"

My mouth drops open. No way! What are the chances?

I feel my heart lift and a smile finds its way onto my face.

"Yes!" Nero exclaims, pumping his fist into the air.

I feel someone run into me, knocking me over and catching me by surprise. I turn and see Neve hugging me tightly. I smile and hug her back.

"We did it we did it we did it!" The younger girl exclaims, her hug getting tighter with each word.

"You're....suffocating.....me!" I gasp.

I hear Kin laugh and Neve loosens her death hug on me.

Kin's big grey eyes twinkle as she smiles at us, "Neve!"

Neve reluctantly lets go as the rest of the team comes over. I can't keep the smile off my face as we are led out of the stadium, back into the hover-cars, and back to our rooms.

"Yeah!" Ignis exclaims once we get back.

"That was certainly over fast." Anemos comments as he sits down.

"Yeah....I'm exhausted!" Neve sighs, sitting down on her bed and falling back.

"Me too!" Kin agrees, doing the same.

I feel the fatigue begin to take me and my eyes get heavy. I fall backwards onto my bed with a yawn.

A couple minutes later I'm asleep.

I just want to thank all you amazing readers for reading this far! I really appreciate it and ANY constructive criticism, any at all, will be greatly appreciated. I will not be offended unless you say something like, 'this story stinks you need to fix it,' because that's not constructive at all, is it? I just want to write a good story!

I don't know about you guys but this chapter just kept bothering me. I had to go over it, like, twenty times before I was satisfied! I don't know, I don't like it very much. Did you guys?

But.....

2.) Who's your favorite Snow Ferret member? (as in Ignis, Neve, Nero, Blitz, ect.)
3.) What do you think about the Iron Wasps cheating?
