~6~

Tom sighed, leaning his head back onto the seat of the car and closing his eyes. He's been waiting for half an hour now and yet there was no sign of the girls. His mind slowly crept back to the girl from work. The blonde with bright blue eyes and a crazy personality, who for some reason didn't even notice he existed. Maybe all of this helping was keeping his mind of his little troubles at work. Then again it wasn't very useful.

"HEY TOM!" Leah's voice interrupted the man's thoughts and  he almost jumped up in surprise, but soon settled back to get ready to drive. I waved awkwardly and sat beside him at the front seat. He smiled at us as soon as we got in, showing off his pearl white teeth.  Any girl would swoon for that smile, but I already have someone on my mind. Jason. I sighed dreamily without realising it and both Tom and Leah turned to look at me questioningly.

My eyes widened and I could feel my cheeks burn red, " What!?" I exclaimed. Tom shook his head and simply continued driving while Leah gave me the 'tell me later' glance.

Tom's tall figure stood leaning against the wall of the shop as we waited for Leah to come out so we could go to the café. It's been and hour and I've given up with trying to drag her out. Honestly no idea why Tom was still here. My gaze fell upon the brunette beside me, but before I could ask him anything his question brought me out of my thoughts.

"Does she always take so long?" Tom smiled, looking down at my small form. I chuckled awkwardly and nodded, "Yeah, she likes going shopping...." I sighed, glancing at Leah who was holding some fabric while checking out another. I turned back to finally ask Tom why he was still here but instead found him frozen with wide terrified eyes as he stared at a certain someone that walked down the street. It was a girl, her blonde wavy hair ruffled by the wind and her bright blue eyes fixated on the view in front of her, her heels making her legs look longer and skinnier as she walked. She looked like a model, her clothes all pretty fashionable and nothing of the normal people's kind. It was unusual. She seemed like one of those first page on magazine cover girls.

Once in a while people would walk over and ask her for something while the eyes shone with excitement. I was nothing compared to her. Shaking my head I glanced back at Tom with a raised eyebrow. He was still frozen to the place, his lips slightly parted. I rolled my eyes and waved my hand in front of his eyes to try bring him back to reality. Tom blinked a few times before looking down at me, frowning when he saw my mischievous grin.

"So? Her fan or something?" I laughed. Tom sighed and scratched the back of his neck as he tried to come up with a reply.

"I um worked with her and um I kind uh..." He struggled to form words so I decided to help him out.

"So you fell for her?" I grinned. Tom bit his lip and nodded slowly, looking slightly worried. My lips formed a smirk as a plan developed in my head. Maybe this wasn't the best idea but hell why not try it, "Hey Tom, I've got a cunning plan. Wanna join?"
