The road lights flickered once in a while as I walked down the street. I fiddled with my earphones, switching songs now and then. It was absolutely freezing. Then again not surprising since it was winter after all. There wasn't much cars on the road but sometimes motorbikes would zoom past. I let out a small sigh, attempting to warm  my hands up by rubbing them together.

My eyes widened as I noticed a small snowflake fall on my hand and instantly melt away. It hasn't snowed in London since I was probably like 15?!My mind instantly threw me back to the memory of that very day. The last good memory I had of mum after the..incident.
While crossing the road I suddenly stopped for a few seconds and glanced up at the sky, watching the snow fall as the memory replayed in my mind.

"Charlie!" An average height woman with warm green eyes and sun ray blonde hair, her cheeks and nose gone pink from the cold, yelled out as she ran towards the fifteen year old teen that was walking down the street.
"Mum? Mum! Why are out of bed?!" Charlie frowned, rushing over to the older woman and embracing her in a hug.
"Look! Look honey! It's snowing!" The woman pulled away from the teen, holding on to her weakly while pointing with the other hand up at the sky. It was the quieter place of London and so not many other people where on the street as the two stood there, watching the snow slowly cover the streets-

My vision was suddenly interrupted as realisation hit me. I was standing on the road.
Car headlights blinded me and within a second I was on the ground. I groaned in pain and tried to look around in an attempt to understand what just happened.

A worried voice called out to me from where the light was coming and soon I felt warm hands turn me around. A blurry image of a man with curly hair came into my view, his lips separating as he questioned me, hoping to get some sort of answer. However my vision became even more blurry and my eyes closed, the man's faded voice echoing through my mind as I blacked out.
