"So you and Mom were in same uni.. uni" Arya scrunched his nose closing his eyes getting trouble pronouncing the big word.

"University" Neil completed the word for Arya and curved his lips in a thin smile.

"So you both fought!" Arya stared at Neil, waited for his reply.

"Nope it's me" Neil said averting his gaze away from him and released a humourless chuckle.

"Then do patch up...say sorry...
Mom doesn't stay angry longer" Arya retorted.

I tried but..

He let out a deep sigh.

How would I make him understand that it's not so simple to resolve everything we have between us.
How would I say him that his Mom is still carrying those baggage inside her ; we had in our past.
How would I explain him that the person behind is me who messed up everything that might had been between us, or we could have had.

"Granny and Mom fight every single week..those marriage thing you know...but they end up resolving it everytime...so it's not a tough task to repent things up with my Mom.." Arya gave an assuring smile.

"She is her mom...I'm no one" Neil bit his bottom lip releasing a deep sigh under his melancholy mood on this topic.

"Then marry her,Mom will forgive you.."
Neil let out a heavy sigh of sadness straightening up his body leaving the spot he was sitting on his toe while talking to Arya.

"It's not so easy you know that"

"Neither too tough" Arya added getting up on the bed mattress.

"Why don't you talk to her?" Arya cocked his head gazed at him deeply.

"We are leaving tomorrow...you have only tonight to make things easier..
It's already 7 in the evening.. within an hour we will leave for Ju's reception..you only have few hours before the morning comes"

"Yeeeah I know" Neil nodded being stressed.

"Are you still mad at me! calling you dadda!!
I have already apologised" Arya looked a bit sad.

"I wasn't" Neil pick him up in his arm.

"Really!!" Neil chuckled hearing his enthusiastic voice and seeing the happiness spread all over his face.

"You can call me that if you want" Neil smiled mischievously.

"Around Mom's presence as well!!" Arya knitted his brows plastering an amusing smile.

"Obviously yes" Neil rolled his eyes tugging his hands around him much comfortably.

"Are you sure!!" Arya rose a brow and in response Neil did the same "she is your Mom not mine" Neil narrowed his eyes and said confidently.

"Dude you are too smart.. I like you" Arya appreciated with a smirk and Neil made say-me- something-I-do-not-know-already  look.

"Do you have her number!!" Arya wrapped his arms around his dadda's neck and they moved towards the downstairs.

"Mamma what are you doing!!" Avni walked holding two cup of coffee in her hand inside the room Neelama was taking out the clothes she has chosen to wear it on Juhi's reception.

"Where is Aryan!!" NeelaMa asked still busy looking for some stuffs inside her trolley.

"may be somewhere around the lawn or upstairs in Dev's room" Avni rolled her eyes saying Dev's room instead taking the name Neil.

"Humm I saw Neil and Aryan has come along really well" NeelaMa rose her eyes at Avni away from her clothes.

Avni passed one coffee mug to her Mom and sat on the bed silently sipping hers.

"He is a nice boy and Handsome isn't he!!" NeelaMa took a sip from her coffee and bring his gaze at her daughter.

"Dev is so friendly...He showed me his girlfriend's pic yesterday...she is so pretty" Avni knows which direction her Mamma would pulled up the convo now so she coverted it to another way talking about Dev.

"I have heard you both were in same University!! You didn't tell me Avu!!" Neelama didn't quit being diverted by her daughter. She bring it back at the exact topic she was talking to. Her gaze wasn't as normal as she look always. There was glint of suspicion in her tone.

"He was in senior year... Just an University mate...that's all" Avni gave a sigh of giving up the intention she had made to avoid the topic.

"Mrs. khanna, Neil's Mom she said she likes you and..." Avni got up immediately and tighening her jaws she said cutting off her Mamma"I need to get ready and Arya as well...Juhi must be seeing our way to arrive there soon"

Avoiding Neelama's curious gaze over her she stepped forward to leave but stopped by her Mamma for a while reaching at the door.

"Can't you see Aryan needs someone to call Daddy... isn't he deserves a complete family!!" Neelama got irked gripping tightly her coffee mug, she raised her voice.

"We are enough for eachother...we are complete the way we are.." Avni responded in a deep tone turning her stern face towards her Mom behind.

"If they will show any interest...I'll agree" shrugging off her reply as always NeelaMa tighented her jaws matching her daughter's same stern gaze.

"Over my dead body" this was the firm reply came from Avni before she strode across the door leaving her exasperated Mamma behind.

Why God?? why me always!! Now again he will get a solid reason to bring up the question all over on my upbringing, my status, my class, my qualifications, every single thing those he has better than me.

Every self-esteem I have grown inside me from last few years moving here in this country, he will just destroy with a swap of his finger pushing me back to those years I used to be all weak and self-doubting.

No, I won't let him do anything like that this time.

This time Neil khanna would face that Avni Mehta he had never thought to face even in his dreams ever.

If anything stupid he will proceed this time to push me down I won't let him go the way I did, years back.
This time I would give him back all the answers he had ever planned for.

I can't treat him similar I had been treated but I could show him his place that he holds in my present unlike my past.

"Avni Avni Avnii" I jumped on my feet by Juhi's voice when she called me out shaking my shoulder.

"Yeaah" my voice shook a bit. I smiled nervously looking her curious gaze at me.

"Is there anything happened annoying!! Your are looking so lost!!" She sounded concern.

"Everything is fine" I held her hand and broadened my smile.

"You can share me Avni..you know that.." Juhi didn't tear her gaze away.

"C'mon Ju it's your reception don't spoil your mood...I was just thinking about the pile of work I need to face the second I'll join the institute tomorrow"
Avni smiled nervously avoiding the eye contact with her bestie.

"Are you sure it's only the reason!!" She asked again.

"Nope Actually I was thinking my jiju wouldn't get too horny seeing his beautiful wife tonight" Avni bit her lip suppressing her naughty smile.

"Shut up" Juhi flushed her cheeks, faked an angry face.

And Avni chuckled in response waggling her eyebrows teasing her more.

I was wandering where Avni has gone. I haven't seen her the moment we reached Juhi's reception at her Sasural.
Averting my gaze standing along with my family afar my gaze fall on Neela Aunty. She was staring at me talking to Aryan sitting beside him in the couch other side. I felt conscious under her gaze but she tear it apart giving me a soft smile before I could broadened a smile returning mine to her. Then again I got busy looking for my only interest I have found on particular someone, since I met her again here years back.
And then I spotted her standing there beside Juhi on the bridegroom reception platform talking to her and smiling saying something leaning towards my cousin.
And immediately my gaze got stuck on her beautiful face.

While coming here by car Mom tried many possible plan to leave us together in the same car but Avni chose to travel with Bubbly Aunty and Param Uncle over me. Even she didn't sit with her Mom in the same car and I ended up coming with my other cousins in another car.

She is looking sexy, alluring. My every nerve uncharacteristically pointing towards that only direction, no matter how much I tried resist not to gawking at her.

Yes sexy yet classy in that saree the way she draped the fabric around her petite milky waist.

I licked my bottom lip gulping inside my dried up throat eyeing at her each curve.

I know I shouldn't but it's quite natural looking at the girl this way you just discovered you like her crazily.

Gawwwwd this girl left the cold hearted guy like me feeling hot in this chilly weather.

Hey it's not that I'm stony or frosty in these kind of stuffs. Girls keep throwing themselves on me every party I attend. But those are all temporary feelings, if least we consider. It ends with the night we get parted. But this one is going to be permanent I have no doubt whatsoever.

I haven't felt this much attracted towards anyone before, not even at the age people do stuffs, not able to control their hormones falling for the opposite sex every often, frequently.

Unknowingly this girl had done something probable that she hadn't cared to put any effort to do such things to be happened...She actually pulled that Neil khanna out it's shell, anyone has ever thought of it's existence.
Not even he himself.

I smile on my own thoughts these days.

"I would get you know how lovable Neil khanna could be, only for you..." I pulled out my pH off my pocket and eyed on her number Aryan gave.

And I tilted my head straight at her direction.

Now she is talking to Dev along with some of my other cousins standing around the cocktail counter.

Excusing myself from Del and his friends I walked towards them.

I was chatting with Dev and with their other cousins I have come across during this wedding. We became really good friends all of us enjoying all the functions back to back.
An announcement has been heard forming instantly our heads turned towards that direction pausing the topic we were talking about and then my eyes fell on the person coming towards us plastering a smirk on his perfect jaw line.

This Man.
The more I want to act like he doesn't exist, and everytime more I get stroke by his appealing aura around me.

My naive emotions couldn't keep it's head up before my over powered hormones.

Look at him. In that plain cream white suit.
I fumed looking around, the way girls drooling their lustful eyes over him ripping his clothes off inside there mind.

There should be law ,a Man should have been imposed penalty looking this much irresistible.

Neil paused on his way coming towards us twirling his head away at the same direction where everyone's attention was then.

Thank god this sudden thing stopped him to join us or else another awkward moment would have arose between us being around eachother.

Couple Dance there an announcement made by a teenage girl leaving everyone hooting around. She is Del's cousin, Juhi's sister-in-law in that sense.

We were all asked to get into the lawn area that has been decorated specially for this event.
As per as said we all headed to that place.

Just now while writing I have felt my sore throat, I got cold today evening..so I couldn't form a mind to think about the song Avniel will dance. Or else I'll definitely write that exact scene so I wrote it upto this part.
