'Contestant number 172, Elena.' The speaker boomed as everyone waited nervously for the results. A few days ago, we had given our auditions, and now all of us were called back again to know whether we had got into SM or not.

'Elena, omg you got in!' I exclaimed, pulling her into a hug, and she laughed.

'I knowww, this is amazing, omg.' She replied as she hugged me back. 'I hope you get in too...'

'Yeah...' I replied, sitting straight again as I let out a deep breath. I wasn't going to, I knew it, my voice wasn't as good as Elena's or anyone else's that had auditioned; everyone told me it was just my self confidence that was bad, but I knew better. Honestly, I didn't know why I was here in the first place; I had only auditioned as a joke, I had never thought I'd actually get in. But now here I was, hundreds of miles away from my home in an entirely different continent.

'Wait what?' I heard Elena exclaim from beside me, and turning to her, I saw her look at the speaker in shock.

'What?' I asked, surprised at her state. She turned to me immediately.

'Didn't you hear what they said?'

I stared at her blankly.

'Um. no?'

'Both of us are going to be with 3 other people in a group...'

I felt my eyes widen. I should have known that I wasn't going to just be a solo artist or whatever, and that I was going to be in a group...but I just didn't think of it.

'Whatever, let's go.' Elena continued, standing up with an amusing determined and triumphant look on her face.

I looked up at her in surprise.

'Go where?'

She looked down at my face, which I could imagine looked really confused, and started laughing.

'You really haven't been paying attention to the speaker, have you, you zone out so much!' She finally said. I laughed nervously in reply, looking down guiltily; I wasn't the best at maintaining my attention on something.

'We need to go to the main hall; we're going to see the other people we're going to be in a group with..' She said, bringing my attention back to her.

'Oh. Of course.' I nodded, standing up, and both of us started walking towards the door; but I froze in a sudden realisation.

'Wait...' I mumbled to myself, and Elena turned back, looking at me questioningly. 'Does this...does this mean I actually got in..??'

She burst out laughing.

'Yes!'

I stared at her in disbelief. This was not happening. But then it was...

'Now come on, before they reconsider!'

I nodded, biting my lip, and followed her as she walked through the door to that large hall I had given my audition in; I had sung Never Ever by Got7 - one of my favourite songs, and it was one of the most terrifying moments I had ever faced, standing on my own in front of that camera recording my every move. And now here I was again, walking to the three girls who stood together nervously, mumbling together; but I turned to the slightly raised platform in front of all of us, and froze as I saw three figures that I had looked up to all my life, one of them being my bias; it was none other than Chanyeol, Xiumin, and Sehun, all standing together, laughing. I glanced at Elena immediately, and noticed she was looking at me too - as soon as we made eye contact, she grinned; she was an EXO-L like me, although not to the same extent since she was more a major ARMY; if this was BTS, she would have died inside, I know it.

'Hello~' I heard a voice say, and me and Elena both looked in the direction of the voice to see the three girls we had seen at first looking at us; they were all now smiling. 'Are you Ae Sook and Elena?'

I smiled, nodding, and bowed. 'I'm Ae Sook, and -'

'-I'm Elena!'

'Oh ok.' One of them smiled. 'I'm Trina, and this is Kyla and Jocelyn.'

One of the two other girls grinned, and the other smiled and waved.

'Nice to meet you.' Elena smiled, but I was in a slight state of confusion - I had three internet friends called Trina, Kyla and Jocelyn; and I was kinda close with them, but I hadn't actually met them..

'Wait....Trina? As in thebtslifeu?' I suddenly said. 'And Kyla, as in bts.x.ami and Jocelyn as in marsjimin?'

All three of them looked at me with a confused expression on their faces.

'Um...yes?' Trina finally said, but her eyes widened. 'Wait...SOOK?'

'OMG!' I laughed. 'I can't believe it's you guys! I was so nervous thinking it's three random people I don't know.'

'Yayayayayayayay!' One of them said, clapping and jumping slightly. I laughed. This had to be Jocelyn. Which meant the other one was Kyla.

'Ahem.' We all heard, and all of us looked towards the three exo members standing in front of us; I realised Chanyeol was the one that had coughed as his mouth widened to a grin.

'So~ the five of you have been selected to be in a group together, and it's going to be called..um..' He glanced back at Xiumin and Sehun, and Xiumin immediately whispered 'Zen' in a surprisingly loud voice for a whisper.

'Zen.' Chanyeol concluded, turning back to face us. I stared at him, slightly surprised; they had decided all of this really quickly...

'And you're probably wondering why we're here right now instead of your future manager.' He continued, starting to walk backwards and forwards. I kept looking between the three of them; Xiumin with a wide grin on his face, Sehun with a slight smile, and Chanyeol just talking whilst continuing to walk back and forth.

'Woah~' I heard Elena whisper from next to me. 'That's amazing..'

'So because of your high level skill, we're going to be training you to develop your skill. And by 'we', I mean EXO.' Chanyeol concluded. 'We've allocated different members to you according to what you're going to be doing, in terms of vocals, rap, etc. '
