~Yoona Point of View~
"No."
I stepped back from the ledge, shaking my head.
"I can't do this, Jimin!"
The pair of us were stood at the edge of the roof, ready for Jimin to teach me how to use my wings for the first time. But one look over the side made me realise I could fall potentially to my death, and that thought was not appealing in any way.
"Yoona," Jimin chuckled, once again taking my hand in his. "Do you trust me?"
I sighed, but nodded, and his smile widened.
"Good! So now unfold your wings."
I huffed but did as he said, well attempted to... But no matter how much I squeezed my eyes shut, held my breath and tried to force them out, I couldn't feel any pain in my back, meaning they hadn't revealed themselves.
"Jimin, it's not working."
I pouted, realising I was being quite whiny today but not really caring.
"It's not?" He suddenly smiled, but there was something different about it. Something more sinister. My eyes widened as he took a step closer to me, and I instinctively stepped back.
Before I knew it he'd pulled my arm and thrown me off the roof.
"JIMIN!!"
I screamed as I felt myself fall; I knew the building was tall but I also knew I'd hit the ground any second - my heart was thumping and my arms were flailing...
Until my body was scooped up into a pair of strong arms and I felt the whoosh of air as I suddenly shot upwards.
"Jimin," I breathed, grabbing onto his torso tightly, my heart beat still pounding in my ears.
Jimin was above me, his wings - covered in cream and brown feathers - flapping gently in the air, the clear pale blue sky behind him. He really looked angelic; his brown hair falling forward as he looked down at me fondly.
"I've got you, Yoona," He laughed. I realised how close our faces were and how tightly I had pressed my body to his, but right now that was the least of my concerns; I was scared.
"Hey, you won't fall, I promise," Jimin smiled softly, and I nodded slightly, I believed him.
"Take a look behind you."
I obliged and glanced over my shoulder and gasped.
There were my wings.
"I'm going to let go-"
"No!" I shook my head violently, hugging him tighter, and he chuckled.
"Yoona," Without saying anything more, he let go of my body, shifting so I was beside him, but not letting go of my hand.
"Jimin no!" I wailed, but slowly realised I wasn't actually falling.
My wings were flapping gently behind me, still a little irregularly but keeping me up. Or maybe it was because Jimin was still holding my hand that I wasn't dropping from the sky.
"See," Jimin sighed in content, and turned to me with a small smile. "Pleasant, isn't it?"
I nodded - the feeling was unreal. It was chilly, but the view was incredible.
"So let's go a bit faster!"
"Well that was awesome!" I grinned as we both landed back on the roof of the house.
Well, Jimin landed. I crashed. But let's not go into details of that.
"Yeah? Pretty cool right," He smugly smiled, and I nodded. Jimin had taught me the basics of how to control my movements, but of course I needed plenty of practise.
After returning inside, I flopped onto the sofa in the living room, where Taehyung immediately started laughing.
"Have you been flying, by any chance?"
I cocked my head.
"How did you know?" I asked, confused.
"Take a look in the mirror," He snorted, and I jumped up to head for my room.
"Oh damn," I giggled at my own reflection, then stopped when I heard another laugh join mine.
"Bird's nest," The boy chuckled, stepping into the room and standing next to me, his eyes on my unruly, windswept hair, and my eyes on him.
His gaze flicked towards my eyes, and we found ourselves staring at each other in the mirror. Our hands were close enough to brush against each other.
The little scar on his cheek. How did he get it? I wanted to ask him but I figured it wasn't the right time. Yet.
Instead, I wanted to ask about his...other side.
Just as I was about to, there was a knock on my door.
"Yoona?" Yoongi poked his head around the door just as Jungkook turned himself invisible. I tried to pretend everything was normal and not let my eyes flick to where Jungkook was just standing.
Yoongi looked slightly worried.
"I think you'd better come downstairs. It's important."
I nodded, and the boy withdrew from the doorway. Jungkook didn't return to being visible until he heard Yoongi's footsteps down the stairs.
I flinched when he materialised right beside me.
"Do you know what it's about?"
Jungkook shrugged, a half smile on his face.
"I have a...vague idea," He turned to me and smiled. "So then, shall we?"

Kinda a filler chapter, sorry - the next chapter will make everything clearer with the reason behind Jungkook's other side and where the interesting bit starts, so look forward to it! :) keep voting and commenting :) x
