Chapter 25
"Zayn?" I shouted, pushing through the mob of sweaty bodies dancing around me.
"Hey baby."
I whipped around, expecting to find a very drunk Zayn, but instead, came face to face with a large, bald, sweaty man.
"Can I help you?" I growled, clenching my fists.
"Here's my number." The man slurred, sticking out a piece of paper.
He let out a disgustingly long burp, then looked around. His eyes landed on me and he shook his head disapprovingly.
"Excuse you, never mind." The man said, disgusted.
"Whatever." I sighed, as I kept looking.
I slid through a few people dancing and grinding on each other, and finally made it to the back. I checked the booths lined on the wall, but they were all empty. I walked over to the bar to find a bartender.
"How can I help you, miss?" The man asked, wiping a rag across the counter.
"I'm looking for one of my friends, and I think he might be in one of those rooms." I told the man, gesturing at the private rooms.
"Name?"
"Zayn Malik." I replied.
The man chuckled and shook his head.
"Nice try, sweetheart. You're the fourth one to ask me that. I'm not stupid, I know he's a celebrity."
I took a deep breath, trying to control my temper, but it didn't work and I ran my hand through my hair, trying to clear my thoughts.
"Okay, look, I realize that this is probably one of two or three jobs for you, and you're trying to make ends meet so if you tell me what room he's in, I'll pay you. A lot." I said, trying to bargain.
"Sorry, but bribery doesn't work for me." The man answered.
"Okay, look here douche pants. If you don't tell me what room he's in, I'll take that stupid dishrag of yours and shove it up your ass." I growled, clenching my fists.
"You really think your threats are going to scare me?" He asked, rolling his eyes.
"I swear to God." I added, reaching for the rag.
He jerked it away and looked down. He exited from behind the door and handed me a key. I smirked at him and walked over to the room. I knocked once, but didn't hear anything.
"Zayn?" I called, pushing the key in the lock. "I'm coming in!"
I opened the door, expecting him to be making out with some girl, but instead, he was laughing. A beer glass in his hands, bent over in laughter, watching the girl in front of him.
"Oh, hi." The girl smiled, waving.
Zayn turned around, a smile plastered on his face.
"I'm sorry, I was just looking for Zayn." I smiled, closing the door behind me.
"Yeah, he's a little drunk." The girl told me.
"Just a weensy bit." Zayn giggled, falling onto the bed.
"I'm Diana." I said, shaking her hand.
"Perrie." She replied. "I hope it was okay I brought him here. I'm not some weird fan I promise, I just couldn't find who he was with."
"No it's fine, thank you." I sighed, watching Zan drop his phone on his nose and then burst out into more laughter.
"Are you his girlfriend?" Perrie asked me, watching Zayn carefully.
"No, we're just friends." I said.
I helped Zayn up and he shoved his phone at Perrie. "Put your number in." He yawned.
She smiled and did so, handing him back his phone.

I helped all three guys up to the door, almost crushed under their weight. Before I opened the door, I listened to what seemed like an argument between Liam and Harry, but I couldn't tell what it was over. I knocked once, trying to keep the guys upright.
The door swung open, and Harry stood in front of me, a pissed off expression on his face. When he saw the guys, his ace relaxed and he helped me with them.
"Okay Niall." I mumbled, letting him fall onto his bed.
"Sweet dreams!" He called, still giggling.
"Good night." I smiled, closing the door.
I made sure all the other guys were in bed before walking back downstairs. Liam was nowhere in sight, and Harry was sitting with his arms crossed on the couch.
"Hey." I sighed, sitting down next to him.
"Hey." He mumbled, sipping his beer.
"Harry, what's wrong? I heard you and Liam arguing earlier, is everything okay?" I asked, absentmindedly picking at my cuticles.
"No." He replied, his eyes fixated on the TV.
I drew my eyebrows together in confusion, about to ask what happened, when Liam came back in. He looked from me to Harry, worry present on his features. I smiled and waved, causing his face to relax.
"Come on, Diana." Liam mumbled, taking my upper arm.
I loosened his grip and stood there, looking from my two friends. What the hell was going on here? Harry looked down at the ground, his jaw clenched in anger, while Liam looked at me, his eyes pleading.
"Guys, seriously what the hell is going on? It's obvious you're pissed," I pointed to Harry. "And whatever he's pissed about, seems to be one of your problems." I said, pointing to Liam and then crossing my arms.
"Can we please just go, I'm not in the mood to discuss this now." Liam begged, trying to pull me again out the door.
Harry started to retreat upstairs, as Liam continued dragging me towards the door. I ripped out of his grasp and balled up my fists at my sides.
"No!" I screamed, causing them both to stop and look at me. "Tell me. Now."
"You want to tell her?" Harry asked.
"No." Liam scoffed.
"Oh yeah, that's right I forgot, you've always been terrible to her. She's always deserved more." Harry snapped.
"Like who? You? Please, she'll never think of you as more than a friend. Just because you're a little jealous doesn't mean you have to pout and mope like a five year old." Liam replied, stopping at the bottom stair.
"Are you kidding me? All I've ever been is there for her, whether it was Caroline or Danielle or whoever the hell you were ditching her for, I was there. Not you. You've never been there, you just like to say that you have been to make yourself feel better. Ask any of the guys who's been there for her, because I can guarantee it won't be you. So you can tell her yourself what your sorry ass did." Harry told him, walking back down two of the stairs.
I was confused. I knew they were they were talking about me, but whatever they weren't telling me looked a lot worse than I thought it was. Zayn, Niall and Louis appeared at the top of the stairs, rubbing the drunken sleep from their eyes.
I waited.
But all they did was stand there, fuming at each other, probably about to fight it out. I was starting to wonder if whatever this was about, had to do with what Caroline said on the radio. Of course I missed it, but I knew whatever it was couldn't have been good.
"Guys?" I asked quietly, watching them stare each other down.
"Tell her." Harry growled. "Or I will."
