Ruhani's POV

It was Saturday and I was having pizza with Aniket but I got upset when I suddenly remembered the day Vikram bought me here to cheer my mood as I was crying.

Yesterday as I confessed him that I kissed Aniket, he left without saying anything.

''Hey! What are you doing here?' I asked.

'By the way, meet my friend Aniket and Aniket this is my best friend Anaya,' I introduced them.

Anaya gave him a small smile and looked back at me.

'I want to talk with you,' she said.

'Is everything alright?' I asked.

'Yes, but I want to talk with you.'

'You both can leave, we will meet some other day,' Aniket said and I looked at my last slice of pizza and Aniket chuckled.

'Take it with you,' he said and I smiled sheepishly.

'I am sorry that I have to leave,' I apologized.

'It's okay, Ruhani,' he said as I took my last slice of pizza and followed Anaya.

'Where are we going?' I asked but she didn't reply.

She took an auto towards her house and I came to know that were going to her house.

I realized that she was angry with me but why?

What have I done?

I bought myself out of my thoughts and finished the pizza.

From the day I came to know that I am pregnant, I am craving for all the fast foods.

I liked fast foods before also, but now a days I am craving for it more.

After almost twenty five minutes we were at her house.

'Why are you angry with me?' I asked as I went and sat on the sofa.

'What do you know about Aniket and how much you know about him?' she asked making me confuse.

'He is boss of Agarwal group of companies and he lives with his dad and he has a cousin sister,' I told her.

'That's it. Other than this you don't know anything about him? You know what happened with Rakesh, right?' she asked and realization dawned upon me.

'But Aniket is not Rakesh, he is a good person,' I tried to make her understand.

'Rakesh also seemed nice. We almost lost you, Ru,' she said and we were quiet for few seconds.

'There are many monsters in this world, Ru and you have to save yourself from all those monsters,' she continued.

'I am saving myself from the devil,' I said, softly.

'What?' she asked.

'Yes. I am saving myself from the Devil. I don't want to get hurt again. What if he will not trust me in the future? What if he asks me to leave again? You know that day when he professed his love for me, I don't know why but I remembered the day he shouted and asked me to leave his house. Now if he asks me to leave again I will not live Anaya. I will not forget the days I was so broken without him, I will not be able to bear that pain AGAIN,' I told her everything, truthfully.

I told her about yesterday's incident with devil in my cabin.

'What? You lied to him that you kissed Aniket?' she asked.

'How do you know that I lied to him about kissing him?' I asked surprisingly.

'I know you, Ru. I am your best friend. I know that you will not kiss any other man when you still have feelings for Vikram.'

'I love Devil very much and I can't think about anyone because a girl can never be with another man when someone has already touched her heart ,soul and body,' I said.

'I know,' she said with a smile.

'You love Devil very much right?' she asked and I nodded in a yes.

'Then why did you lie to him?' she asked.

'I tried everything, Anaya. I lied about Aniket buying a gown for me, dinner plans, going to fare but he didn't say anything. I was surprised. How can he change so suddenly? People never change and---

'And what Ru?' she asked.

'I was afraid. Those day when he left, it was the hardest part of my life. I never slept and I never enjoyed anything, even my food. If I forgive him and he again leaves me what will I do, I dont want to get hurt. Maybe we are not meant for each other,' I spoke my heart out.

'You want this? You want that he should leave you forever?' she asked.

'Yes.'

'If you want this then I am with you but I want to tell you something. If he had not changed he would not have let you roam around with Aniket. He would have yelled at you, or force you with some blackmailing, or followed you but when you were with Aniket he was there waiting for you. The Vikram I know would have never done it. You stayed with him, you know him better than me. Ask to yourself, has he not changed?' she explained.

Yes, I thought that he will follow me like he had did before, I thought that he will yell at me. Whenever Aniket used to pick me up from office, he watched us but didn't say anything.
Aniket used to drop me home and Vikram knew it but he never uttered a word.

'Tell me one thing will you be happy if he is not in your life. Do you imagine your future without him?' she asked breaking my thoughts.

No.

I can never imagine a life without him.

'But, I don't think he will ever change. He will be the same mad, possessive, angry Vikram,' she said before I could reply her previous question.

'Anaya, I don't want him to change. I love him even if he is mad, possessive, crazy . I never wanted to change him. If I will change him and love him then that is not love. I love him as he is. I just wanted his trust towards me but I know that he still does not trust me, as yesterday when I lied to him about kissing Aniket, he left without saying anything.'

'Maybe all this days he showed that he trust me so that I could forgive him but I know he still does not trust me,'  I continued sadly. 

I just wanted his trust towards me.

'You said everything yourself about loving him and we will talk about this later as I have to go because just now Sameer messaged me that he has to leave and I don't want Shamika to handle the shop alone,' she said.

'By the way how's Rudra's new job going on?' I asked.

'I am happy he got a job as I was feeling guilty that he left his previous job for me but the schedule is very hectic. Today is Saturday and he had an off so we went to dominos to have pizza but he got a call from office and he had to leave as some urgent work came. As I was leaving I saw you with Aniket and I was angry as you don't know that man and was roaming around with him, so I wanted to have a serious talk with you,'  she told me and her protectiveness towards me made me smile

'Okay, let's leave,' she said as we came out of her house.

'I will come to coffee shop,' I said.

'Why?'

'You will know.' I said as we started walking towards the coffee shop.

We reached the coffee shop in almost fifteen minutes and I saw that Shamika was serving the customers.

We went in the kitchen and I called Shamika in the kitchen.

'Yes, Ruhani Di,' she said and I gestured her to sit beside me.

'So?' I asked.

'What?' she retorted back.

'You know that every morning a man comes here to have coffee' I said and her eyes widened.

'What are you saying?' Anaya asked.

'You will know Anaya.'

'Di, I don't know what you are saying,' she replied and shook her head.

'You know whom I am talking about. Aniket loves you Shamika. He is crazy about you,' I said and Anaya's eyes widened.

'I also had the same expression Anaya when he said that he loves a girl who works in a coffee shop named 'The friendly bean,' I said to Anaya and looked back at Shamika.

'So he asked you for dinner and you agreed and went out with him but then you started ignoring him. Why?' 

'Oh! So that's why she stopped coming to coffee shop at mornings?' Anaya asked.

'Yes. I do not want to see him,' Shamika replied.

'And here I thought that you were busy with your studies and that's why you don't come to shop at morning,' Anaya said.

'So, tell me,'  I said to Shamika.

'I loved sameer but he said he loves someone.'

'He loves someone?' Me and Anaya asked in unison.

'Yes and he proposed her and now they are together,' she said softly.

'Then Aniket used to come and sit for an hour to have coffee. He used to stare at me and tried to talk with me and then he started asking me to have dinner with him. After rejecting him for almost ten times, finally I agreed,' she told us.

'You didn't enjoy spending time with him?' I asked

'No. It was actually the opposite. That day with Aniket I was so happy. I forgot all about Sameer and that frightened me . I started ignoring him from next day. I don't want to get hurt again. I know how hurt I was when Sameer said he loves someone. It's not Sameer's fault. He never saw me more than a friend. It was my fault that my stupid heart started loving him. I was upset for so many days when I came to know Sameer loves someone but with Aniket after so many days I felt happy. Sameer didn't even cross my mind and that's why I am afraid because I don't even know why Aniket wants to stay with me. I am just eighteen, a college student and he is twenty-four, and has his own company. Maybe, I will be good for him for few months but why will he want to spend his whole life with me? I cannot bear the pain again,' she said and was almost crying.

'Maybe because he fell in love with you. I am not saying you to go and stay in his house, but don't ignore him, give him a chance, give yourself a chance to be in love again, and age and status will not stop you from falling in love. The only thing who will stop you from falling in love is you, yourself. Talk with him but don't harm your studies for him, concentrate on your studies and I know he will also understand and he will never ask you to sacrifice your studies, college and tuitions for him. I know him Shamika, maybe not that much but one thing I can tell you he is a nice man and he loves you. I saw the love and pain in his eyes.' I tried to explain her.

My mobile rang and Max was calling me and he said that he wanted to give me something and asked me to meet him at the restaurant near office. I asked Anaya to accompany me.

'Okay bye, we have to go and you can handle the shop alone, right?' I asked.

'Yes sure,' Shamika said and tried to smile.

'Think about what I said to you and maybe Aniket was made for you so give him a chance,' I said to Shamika before leaving.

'So you didn't even tell me about it?' Anaya asked as we sat in auto.

'I promised Aniket that I will not share his secret,' I said.

'And I wanted to check something?' I continued.

'What?' she asked.

'I wanted to check whether Aniket loves her or she is just a fling for her. Shamika is like a sister to me so I wanted to make sure that he is good for her. As I talked with him, I came to know that he really loves her because most of the time he talked about her only,' I replied.

'At his cousin's birthday party he thought of taking her with him but she was ignoring him so he asked me to accompany him and I am glad that I accompanied him,' I told her.

'Why?' she asked.

'At his cousin's birthday party I was sure that he loves her very much because he was very upset as she asked him to leave from her life forever so today I broke the promise I gave him and talked with her to know what is going in her mind. She loves him. I hope that he will give herself and Aniket a chance.'

'They will talk with each other but I am still surprised that he loves Shamika,' she said.

' I was also very surprised when I got to know about it. After two to three days of our meeting, me and Aniket were passing by our coffee shop and he was looking at our shop. I asked him what was he looking at, but he avoided to answer and after insisting for sometime and promising that his secret will be safe with me, he said that he loves a girl who works there. My first thought was that he loves you but then he said that her name is shamika,'  I said as we paid the auto driver, got out of auto and walked towards the restaurant.

'Why did you call me here?' I asked as I saw Max sitting and we sat opposite him.

'Vikram sir asked me to give you this,' he said and handed me a envelope.

'Vikram sir?' I asked as today is Saturday and office is closed on weekends.

'Yes. Today I got a call from him and he asked me to come to his house and then he asked me to give you this. Okay, now I will leave as Shanaya is waiting for me,' he said and left and I opened the envelope.

There was a rose and a letter in it.

Angel,

I love you. I love you very much but I know you that hate me and you want me to go out of your life otherwise you would have never lied to me about kissing Aniket. Yes, I know you lied to me about kissing Aniket.

I know that you will not kiss him but the question is you hate me so much that you lied to me so that I can leave you?

Yesterday when you said that you kissed him, I knew you lied but then I realized you really want me to leave and, I am leaving Angel.

I love you and our baby and I know you will always take care of our baby.

I know I hurt you very much. I don't deserve you and I hope you will always be happy."
