Ruhani's POV

'Is everything alright?' Max asked as soon as I went back in the restaurant.

'Yes, I am sorry but I want to go home, I am not feeling well.'

'No problem, I will drop you home and then I will go to meet Shanaya,' he said.

'I hope that she will like the earrings we bought for her birthday.'

'Of course, she will love it and thank you for coming with me to buy gift for her.'

'It's okay. Anything for my friend,' I said as we walked out of the restaurant.

He dropped me home and I went in my room and changed my self into night dress and then I started reading a book to distract myself from all the incidents happened today.

After few hours mom called me for dinner and after dinner I went in my room and when I was closing my window , I was shocked to see him and I went downstairs and thank god mom and dad were in their room. I silently opened the main door and went outside.

'What are you doing here?' I asked him. He was sitting on a bench and having a burger.

'Eating burger.'

'What are you doing in the ground in front of my room?'

'As much as I know this is a public place. Look around, kids are playing football here,' he said and looked around.

'What are you doing here, Vikram?' I asked, again and was controlling my urge to punch him.

'From today after office I will be sitting here and sleeping here at night.'

'What?' I was confused.

'It will give me a satisfaction that I am ten steps away from you and our baby,' he  explained his previous sentence in detail.

'So everyday you will be sitting here, eat that unhealthy burger and sleep on the bench?'

'Yes,' he replied.

'Do whatever you want to do. It's your life and your choice. Sit here every night, have that unhealthy burger everyday but if mom and dad finds out then you better have an answer.'

'I know your parents will not see me as this ground is seen only from the room of your window and unless and until they come to your room and stand near the window they will not see me,' he told the truth.

'Goodbye, Mr Malhotra. Have a nice night with the mosquitoes.' I said and was leaving.

'I am so sorry Angel,' I heard his voice but didn't turn around.

Next morning I went in the office to see a rose and a piece of paper on the table. I opened the paper to see five words written on it.

'I am so sorry Angel.'

I threw the paper and rose in the dustbin and sat on the chair.

Why is he doing all this?

I heard a knock on the door and he entered my cabin.

He kneeled down in front of me and touched my stomach.

From the day I told him the news he tries to touch my stomach at every chance he gets.

I jerked his hand off.

'What are you doing here?'

'I came here to meet our baby and baby's mommy,' he replied.

'Okay, now you can leave.'

'I am so sorry Angel,' he apologized again.

'How will you believe that I am sorry and I love y---

'Nothing. Please leave,' I said cutting him off but he was still there.

'Leave,' I said, almost shouted and he left after asking me to come in his cabin and take the files.

I followed him in his cabin and bought all the files I had to complete and kept it on my desk

As soon as lunch time came Max came in my office.

'Shanaya loved the earrings. Thank you for helping me in choosing the earing.'

'I am so happy that she loved it.'

I opened the lunch mom packed for me but today I didn't wanted to have the lunch mom gave me.

I wanted noodles and I wanted it so badly.

'Sit here. I will come in few minutes,' I said to him and didn't even hear for his reply and got out of the cabin and walked towards the canteen.

After almost twenty minutes I was returning to my cabin with noodles.

I was so excited to have it and on the way I was fulfilling my craving by smelling the noodles and then I bumped into someone and the plate of noodles fell off from my hand and, here goes my plan of having noodles.

'Are you mad? You can't see when you are walking?' I yelled at the man who was in front of me.

He was wearing loose black silk shirt with leather cuff and black trousers. He had tousled dark brown hair and his face was strong and defined his features.

'It's all your fault. You were so busy in taking the smell of the noodles that you didn't see me,' he said.

'So, now it's my fault,' I was very angry because I lost my noodles.

'Okay, calm down we can again go to the canteen and buy---

'No, you noodle destroyer, I have a meeting in five minutes,' I said and went in my cabin.

'What happened?' Max asked and I told him everything and started having the lunch mom packed for me and after completing my lunch I went in the conference room and was surprised to see noodle destroyer.

'Noodle Destroyer?' I questioned and I heard him chuckle.

'Noodle destroyer? Do you know him?' Devil asked me but I didn't say anything.

'He is our client, Aniket Agarwal. Boss of Agarwal group of companies,' He introduced us and we started the meeting.

After the meeting was over I was going in my cabin.

'There's a place I know and they have best noodles,' I heard a voice and turned around to see Aniket.

'No, its okay you don't have to---

'But, I want to,' he said cutting my words.

'I am sorry that I yelled at you,' I apologized for the way I behaved rudely with him earlier.

'It's okay, so will you go with me as I don't want to be known as noodle destroyer.''

'I don't know you except your name. What if you are a serial killer?' I teased him.

'We will know each other if we go out and why will I kill such a beautiful girl like you?' he replied and I heard a ring and saw Devil was looking at both of us but I ignored him and focused my attention back on Aniket.

'That was such a bad line. You should try something new and okay, I will go with you after my office hours,' I said and he laughed at my earlier comment.

'So, when will I pick you up from here?'

'Seven.'

'Okay,' he said and left and before going in my cabin I saw that Devil was still standing there.

I ignored him and went inside my cabin.

I called dad and asked him not to pick me up from the office. He was insisting but I declined his offer.

As soon as it was seven I left the office and I was surprised to see him already waiting for me in a car.

As soon as he saw me he got out of car and came to me.

'You are punctual,' I said as we were walking towards his car.

'I can't let this beautiful girl wait.' he said and I started laughing.

'You should improve your lines if you want to impress girls.' I told him as he opened the door for me and I sat in the passenger seat and went and sat in the driver's seat and started the car.

I looked out of the window to see Devil looking at us.

'What happened. Did you forget something in the office?' Aniket asked me.

'Uh... what?' I asked him.

'I mean, you are looking towards the office so I thought you forgot something,' he told me.

The whole car ride we both were silent and I distracted myself from devil's memories by looking outside the window.

In almost twenty minutes we reached in front of a noodle shop and went inside and we sat at the far away dining table and I asked him to ordered noodles as he knows this place better.

'You work there?'

'Yes and what about you?' I replied shortly and asked him a question as I didn't want to talk about my life .

' I stay with my dad as my mom died when I was maybe five years old.'

'Shit! What happened?' I asked.

'Heart attack,' he replied in short and I realized that he does not want to talk about it.

Before I could say something our noodles arrived and I hurriedly took a bite.

'This is the best noodles I had ever had,' I exclaimed excitedly.

'I am glad that I introduced you to the best noodles. Now, I will not be known as noodle destroyer,' he smirked.

'I am sorry, I am not usually like that, actually I was dying to eat those noodles and in a second I bumped into you and it fell down and I was angry and I yelled at you.'

'Its okay, I am happy that because of the noodles I met you,' he told me.

I was having the noodles and he was just staring at me.

'What happened? Is there something on my face?' he asked.

'No, I am looking at the way you are enjoying it,' he replied.

'Are you flirting with me?' I asked.

'Is it working?' he asked and he had an mischivious look on his face.

'No,'  I said and again we laughed.

After so many days I was laughing so much.

'I know that it is not working. By the way can I get your number?' he asked.

'My number?'

'Yes. I want to spend time with you,' he replied.

'What?' I asked, almost shouted.

'It was nice to spend time with you today so maybe we can meet some other day?'

'I also had a good time with you. And I needed this laugh.'

'Is everything fine?' he asked as he kept his hand on top of my hand.

'Yes,'  I said and I pulled my hand away from him.

I wanted to pay the bill but he insisted that he will pay the bill. We exchanged numbers and after that he dropped me home.

As soon as I went in my room, the first thing I did was to open the window and I found him sitting on the bench.

He looked at me and we kept staring at each other and then I closed the windows.

I was happy with Aniket but I saw him and all my mood went off.

I remembered the time when he confessed his love for me. He said the three words I was dying to hear but---

'Ru,' I heard mom's voice.

'Yes mom?' I said and she came in my room.

'Today after so many days I saw you happy.'

'I am happy, mom.' 

'You can't lie to me. I know the difference between fake smile and real smile,' she told me.

'After so many days I saw the real smile today as you came home. And I want you to be happy always,' she said and I hugged her tightly.

We talked for some time and then I left the room after asking me to come downstairs after some time to have dinner.

After dinner as mom and dad went to their room I went outside to talk with him.

'So you are serious about coming here after office and sleeping on the bench and eating fast food?' I asked.

'I have never been so serious in my life, Angel.'

'I will never forget the things you said to me,' I said truthfully.

'And, I will ask for your forgiveness everyday and how was the noodles?'

'What's that to you? And I will never forget how much fun I had today with Aniket and he made me forget every pain you gave,' I said and left before he could say anything.
