Vikram's POV

'What happened?' Tamanna asked as she served me the lunch she bought in the office.

Her question confused me. 'What?'

'Why are you angry?' she asked.

'I am okay,' I replied.

'And, why was there a scowl on her face when I asked if you were busy,' she asked and I came to know she was talking about Ruhani.

It had been few days and we barely talked with each other except for work.

'I don't know.'

"'So, you don't love her?' she asked.

I was shocked as soon the words came from her mouth.

Love?

No, I don't love her.

There is nothing called love.

'No.'

'So, you hate her?' she asked.

'What' s wrong with you? Leave,' I shouted.

'Show your attitude in front of others. I am not afraid by you and when I will kick your family jewel then I will see how will you shout at me,' she shouted back.

This girl and her words. I saw her for the first time when I came to Pune. I was driving at night when I heard some screaming and I stopped my car and walked towards the voice to see two men forcing a girl. I beat them till they ran out of there.

Flashback

'I will not thank you for saving me because I would have easily beat the shit out of them but now that you saved me drop me to my home,' she said and walked towards my car.

'So, now I am your driver?'

'Yup,' she said and I opened the passenger door for her.

She gave me the direction to her house .

'By the way thanks for dropping me. I want you to come inside the house with me and I will prepare dinner for you in return of saving me,' she offered.

'No, it's okay I will leave.'

'And then give me the pleasure of staying in guilt that you saved me and I did nothing for you in return. No way! You are coming inside the house. Now,' she ordered.

'You don't even know my name,' I said.

'Don't worry, I will kill you with the same knife I will be cutting vegetables if you try something.'

'Are you always like this or?'

'Always like this. Lets go,' she said cutting me off as we get out of the car.

'So friends?' he asked.

Friends? How can someone be friends after the first meeting?

'I know that I am too hot and sexy and maybe you want me to be your girlfriend but I am sorry I don't do boyfriends,' she said and I chuckled.

'And, if we have met in different circumstances I would love to spend a night with you as you are one hot piece but then again when I saw you beating the shit out of them I lost the interest in you,' she continued and I laughed out loud.

'But usually when a guy saves a girl, girls are impressed. Right?' I asked with a smirk.

'But I am not one of those girls,' she replied.

'From today add Vikram Malhotra's name in the list of your friends,' I said as I went inside her house and that's how we became friends.

Story returns to present

'When you were busy thinking about something, I finished my lunch,' Tamanna said and before I could say something there was a knock on the cabin.

'Come in,' I said and Ruhani came in and looked at us.

I know she hates Tamanna and I thought of playing with her.

'Sir these page...' she was saying something but I cut her off.

'Wait, let me finish my lunch, You know you are the best cook,' I said to Tamanna and firstly she was surprised but then she hid her emotions with a soft laugh.

I don't know that she can act so well.

'Thank you for the lunch and not leaving my side when I needed someone, as nowadays, someone  claims to be in love with us and then they are with someone else,' I said looking at Ruhani.

'I will be back after the lunch,' Ruhani said and left.

'Are you sure that you don't love her?" Tamanna asked and I nodded in a 'no.'

'If you don't love her then why do you care if she is with someone else? Why are you hurting her?' she asked.

'Please leave,' I said calmly without replying her question.

'You better get your shit together Mr. Malhotra,' she said and left and as soon as she left I finished my lunch and  went back to my work.

Then I called Ruhani and cleared some query she had regarding some things and she left without saying anything.

At the evening I was leaving the office when I saw her waiting for an auto.

'Come, I will drop you to your house.'

'No,' she said, almost shouted.

Why the fuck am I worrying for her but I can't let her stand alone. Everyday I see her father coming to take her home but he still has not arrived today.

My brain was asking me to leave but my heart was asking me to wait till she gets an auto.

'Why are you standing here? Leave?'

'Attitude?' I asked.

'Yes attitude, Mr. Malhotra. Now leave,'  She shouted again.

'Hey!' we both heard Max's voice and he wrapped her hand around her shoulders.

"Hey! You know Max that there are some people who thinks they are always right but they never realize that, maybe they can be wrong,' he said looking at me.

'Yes, sometimes people don't realize that they can be wrong but why are you suddenly saying all this?' he asked.

'Nothing. Will you drop me home? You know that everyday dad comes but today he is not at home so...'

'Of course hop on my bike,' he said and they both left on his bike.

Why am I angry ? She can go with anyone she wants but how can she have so much attitude when she is the one who is wrong.

I also left for my house. I went in my room, freshened up and went in office room to prepare for tomorrow's meeting.

Next day me and Ruhani went to Diwan group of companies for the meeting.

She was standing beside me and she was wearing a white shirt and black skirt which reached upto her knee. Her hair was tied in a bun which always irritated me,even though we were not together.

After three long hours of meeting the deal was signed.

We came out of the office and were waiting for Mohan uncle to bring the car .

'I will take an auto, she said.

'Mohan uncle will drop and that's final. No arguments with your boss, Miss Jaywardhan,' I finally said and she became quiet.

She was looking very tired and stressed. With one hand she was preventing herself from sun rays.

My mobile rang and picked it up.

'Tamanna, I am not in my office, we will meet at my hou..'I was saying when suddenly I looked towards my side and saw she was falling down but before she could hit the road I caught her.

'Ruhani, are you okay?' I asked shaking her arms to see her fallen in my arms.

Shit!

What happened to her?

'Ruhani... Ruhani...' I was calling.

"Ye.... s I am o..kay. " she was stuttering.

'What happened to Ruhani?' uncle asked.

'I don't know and let's take her to the hospital.'

'No,' she said but I forcefully made her sit in the car.

'Uncle, take us to nearby hospital,' I ordered.

'No... no... please no,' she was on the verge of tears.

'Hello' I heard a voice to realize that Tamanna was still on the line.

'Tamanna, I don't know what happened to Ruhani, she suddenly fainted,' I told her and she was trying to get out of my hold.

'Leave me, I don't want to go to hospital,' she kept saying but I held her tightly.

'I am waiting for you as I want to talk to you about something. Leave her,' I heard Tamanna's voice and suddenly I was angry.

'What? You can't see that she is not well and in this condition you want me to leave her and talk to you?' I shouted.

'But, why do you care? Why does it matter to you if she is okay or not? Why does it matter to you if she is not well?' she was shouting.

'Because I love her,' I shouted and her eyes widened.

'I knew it... yaaa...mission accomplished,' Tamanna sounded excited and cut the call and after that I realized what I said.

I love her .

'Sir,' I heard uncle's voice as we were in front of hospital.

'Are you mad or what? I said that I don't want to go to hospital.' she said and her voice sounded so weak.

'But, you are not well.'

'How can you manhandle me like that? Forcing me to go to hospital ? You think that if you say you love me I will go in the hospital with you. Then you are wrong and I hate you. I am tired of all this shit. I am continuously telling you that I am fine, nothing happened to me but you are not listening to me and you were not enough but now your baby is also doing the same. Today I puked five times after the breakfast and...'

'My baby?' I asked and her eyes widened.
