Crimson looked at her with wide eyes. Diamond looked fearful. "Wait..." he said. "If you're the princess, why are you all the way out here? On an island this close to the sky wall?"

"Why? You said why?" yelled diamond. "My mother was taking me to be betrothed to the prince of the Brealon kingdom! Would you not run away if someone was telling you who to marry?"

He opened his mouth to answer, but she talked over him. "I would never marry someone who acted like a spoiled brat all the time!"

"Okay okay." said crimson. "Would fruit make you feel-"

But he got cut off again by rustling in a bush. "What are you doing with my daughter?!" yelled a voice.

A voice that Diamond knew well. Too well.

"Mother?!" Diamond said in disbelief. "Yes, Diamond. me. Do you think I wouldn't notice you fly away on our way to your betrothal? I am smarter than that." "now come, so you can be betrothed."

Diamond tried to pull away, but her mother gripped her arm and flew away. Diamond looked back at Crimson with an expression of sadness. As they flew to the Brealon kingdom, Diamond

Let out a sigh. Well, she thought. My time to escape will come again.

This time I will go to a place where my mother will not be able to follow.

When they finally got to the Brealon kingdom, they flew into the door and into a ballroom where everyone was waiting for her. Her mother led her over to the middle of the room to a handsome looking red dragon. Oof, Diamond thought. He's probably the prince.

Well if he is, I am going to punch him in his spoiled little face.

In the middle of the room, there was also a chair with another red dragon on it. (his name is kefrhg by the way) as kefrhg stood up, all of the dragon's eyes in the room turned to him. "Welcome to the Brealon kingdom. I hope everyone is having a good time. Now with that out of the way, we will now start the ceremony."

Just as they were about to start, a person, (let's call her tyui) ran into the ballroom yelling something like: "Aaaaaaaaaaahhh! The therom is here!"

Diamond knew Now was her chance. She flew up to a skylight in the ceiling and into the sky. She flew as fast as she could, in fear of her mother finding her. As she got close to the sky wall, she suddenly heard wingbeats behind her she wheeled around and glared at her pursuer, expecting to see her mother, but who she saw, was a green dragon with aquamarine eyes. "Crimson!" she said in surprise. "I followed you, because I was wondering what you are doing here," he said. "You really want to know?" Diamond said.

"Of course," he said. "Okay." she sighed. "I will tell you. I must go through the sky wall."

to keep him from protesting, she started to tell him about all that had happened. After she told him, she finished with: "And that is why I must go through the sky wall." Diamond explained.

crimson paused. "I understand. But I will only let you go on one condition." "what's that?" she asked. "You must take me with you."
