A Choice

A choice is a decision that you make.An act of selecting or making a decision when faces with two or more possibilities. A selection between several things. A selection good or bad. It's your choice. A choice you'll regret or be glad that you made. It's your choice. Sometimes you'll think that your choice is the right one....but it's not. It's your choice. You have every right to this choice. from what you think about it to the choice itself. It's your choice. Be glad that you have a choice in some matters...because there are some who can't make a choice. It's your choice. Choose carefully...because you'll never know if you made the right choice...until you regret. May the odds be in your favor.

When Tyler announced that the pack wants a Luna ceremony, I immediately made the choice to refuse. I didn't want to join the pack. NO! Just no! I could hear Blaire disagreeing with me but I blocked her out. I didn't need her to confuse my messed up thoughts already.

"no"

Demetrius looks at me with confusion "No?"

"I won't do the ceremony!"

Hi eyes harden and he slightly narrows his eyes at me. "And why not?"

"because". I state glaring at him

"Cut the crap, Braelynn and tell me why!"

"I don't want to have the ceremony yet. I don't want you to mark me" I state

Hurt flashes through his eyes, but as quickly as it was there,it disappears. " I don't care"

I feel anger burst through my body. "I don't care if you don't care!" I start shouting at him. " It's my choice whether I want to join this pack or not!"

I hear the door close.

"How selfish of you." He accuses me. "All you care about right now is yourself, what about me? The pack? Can't you see that They, I need you! To be there. I need you to live" His voice turns into a quiet whisper.

He's no longer there.

I suck! I feel so fucking bad! It was selfish of me. I realize that I need Demetrius more than anything.

Pushing away my thoughts, I head down to the training center where Demetrius and Tyler are, currently training the warriors.

When I see him, I nearly faint. There he is SHIRTLESS! With his muscles flexing with every punch he throws at a boxing bag. But I can't be a horny she wolf, he's probably really mad at me. I clear my throat and I watch him stiffen. Take a deep breath and turn around. He dismisses the warriors with a flick of his hand,though I didn't miss the strange and curious looks. He turns towards me. Before he can say anything I blurt out "I'll do it! I'll join the pack okay? Just don't be mad at me!"

He stares at me for a minute. "I understand about earlier but Thank you"

"So when is the ceremony?" I ask.

"Tonight"

"Okay" I sigh.

I agreed to do this ceremony. But little did he know that deep inside me there was a negative part, who was insecure, scared of her past, a part who didn't want to do this ceremony. This part as stronger than the rest of me. I was afraid that this part of me will ruin me. Be the end of me. Make me loss my happily ever after.I was afraid that this part will out rule the part of me who wants this ceremony, the part of me who loves Demetrius to no end. The part that will bring me joy and happiness. This was the part that I wanted. I was afraid that the dark part of me, will lead me to do something that I'll regret.

3rd Person's POV,

It's the night of the ceremony. The pack is buzzing with excitement, their waiting for the moment where Alpha Demetrius marks Luna Braelynn in front of the pack as tradition. The pack has already gathered near the Ceremony Hall waiting for everything to start. It is very rare for our pack to have gatherings a Alpha is such a closed person, a person with several walls around him.

Several minutes later, Beta Tyler climbs up the stage and makes an announcement.

"Citizens of the Knight Pack!" He greets. "We all gathered here this fine evening for the Alpha to announce his mate as Luna of the Knight Pack, and he will also be marking her. So please ladies and gentlemen we would like you all to cooperate with us tonight and here is our Alpha , Alpha Demetrius." He finishes. The crowd goes wild showing there love and appreciation for their leader. Even though he is though and works us hard, he is the best leader that any of us could ask for.

Alpha Demetrius walks toward the stage with a powerful and confident aura around him. But in his eyes there was a hint of nervousness or even fear?

On the stage he looks at all of us with appreciation. "Good Evening dear members of The Knight Pack." He starts. "Before I start with the ceremony I would like to tell you all that I loved leading you all by myself, but now we have a Luna and together we will both make this pack stronger and better." He Pauses. "Now please welcome my Mate, our Luna, Braelynn"

A few guards open the main entrance door, and we all turn towards the door in anticipation. But as soon as the door opens we are all shocked to see No one there.

The Luna isn't there

She wasn't there

She's gone!
