SHADOWS POV

My dad was standing on the top of prideock telling the cubs to meet him at the base so I ran over to where he was. He lowered his head and rubbed my back before hitting me his muzzle. The other cubs came over. Arrow my brother looked disappointed he looked to our father and glared at him.

" Why is she your chosen heir. I'm your son and only boys will be king. She will never be queen. It should be me." he growled looking from him to me. Scar just ignored him and went off calling the cubs names.

" Arrow I know you're here same with you Shadow.  Ash" he said

" Yup"

"Atlas"

"Yes"

" Juno"

"yes"

" Good so we are all here. First, let's take the route around the priderock through the tall grass and out to the water hole. Follow my lead and beware of strangers if you hear, smell or see one tell me and I will deal with it. Let's go" He said we started out at a slow walk then made our way to a jog. We stopped at the edge of the tall savanna grass. In front of us stood a huge pool of water were animals were all over. I saw a small mouse so I lowered my body and crept forward before poncing the mouse looked up at me in horror but I was to fast and I had it between my claws. I picked it up and brought it back to the patrol. Scar looked at me with concern, anger and a tad bit of fear in his eyes.

Where were you I told you to stay with the patrol." he growled I flattened my body against the ground before answering.

I I I was hunting"  I said very scared because he looked mad at me. His gaze softened and he started purring. I looked up and smiled he did it back before lifting his head and smelled the air. I did to it kinda smelled like me and my dad but fainter. He opened his mouth in a roar.

" Come show yourself or are you too scared." he roared when he was done a young male lion came out from behind some tall grass. He looked just like Scar but without his scar over the eye. Scar looked surprised to he walked up and smiled at him. the strange lion just looked at him.

" Akuma is that you. We all thought you had died. Where is your mother." Scar said I looked him waiting for him to answer.

" Yes it's me, father and I don't know where my mom is " he then turned and rubbed his head against my fathers head.

" Are my long lost brother?" I asked

" Yes I am," he said
