Scars Pov

The pridelanders watched in horror as their mighty king Shiloh was hit in the chest by a log. He then went under the water.  A few seconds later I saw him climbing another log. I decided it was time. I threw back my mighty head, my long jet black mane waving in the breeze. They all stopped and looked at me. The pridelanders were growling while my pride was a yowling victory.

" Shiloh has disappeared. I will find him and bring him back to the Priderock. Now all of you go." I roared my pride and the hyenas followed my orders but the Pridelanders stood their ground.

" Why should we trust you. You were the one who started the battle. If we go and you don't bring him back we will attack you and your slobbery mutt friends." Atieno growl before flicking her tail and running off with her pride following her.  I ran to where he was now trying to climb up the edge of the gorge. He looked up at me with fear filling his eyes. He was near the top.

" Scar, brother help me," He said I looked at him for a while before lunging down and grabbing his paws in my claws. He roared in pain and I leaned down to his face.

" Long Live The King" I growled then threw him down I watched as he hit a rock and fell to the bottom. I stood there watching the water as it trickled to a small stream. I jumped down there and grabbed his scruff and tugged his limp body in my teeth dragging him to the base of Priderock. 

"Atieno, I found him I was too late he had drowned. I am sorry" I roared she ran down the side and with her pride following her sat around his body with their heads bowed down in sorrow.  I leaped up onto the priderock and lifted my head up to release a mighty roar.

" Since you have no leader I will take over. I will allow the hyenas and my pride to join us but you are now my pride. I am going back to my old territory to get the other half of the pride. Then we can do the burying ritual" I finished then ran down the side running in the direction of the old border. When I got there both hyenas and pride where there I signaled them to follow me. As we were nearing the other half of my pride the hyenas stopped.  

"What are we doing here" Splish howled.

" We are going to live here from now on" I answered then let them loose in the clearing before jumping back onto the priderock.

" I am now joining our pride and pack together as one. First I must announce a few things. First, the queen of you is going to be Autam. And the future queen will be Shadow our hunting patrols will be out threes times a day. The first patrol will be Splish, Beatriz,  Armoni, Dior, Tango, and Apiyo. I am going to take the cubs out to explore the territory so Atlas, Shadow, Ash, Juno, and Arrow meet me at the base of the rock"
