Chapter 21 - Normal Day as a Titan

THIRD POV

After the mission, the team went back to the tower after picking Red Hood who was stopped by Ronin in capturing the truck.

Currently some Titans were medbay as Raven, somewhat of their main healer, was checking if they got any serious injuries. She just finnished checking Velocity.

Raven: "Surprisingly, you went through this time without a scratch."

Raven said which got Cayla excited.

Cayla: "Really!?"

She exclaimed in high pitch noise.

Raven: "No."

Raven smirked as Cayla frowned.

Raven: "Can you tell Y/N he's next?"

She asked her on which Cayla quickly thought of an idea how she could pay back for Raven's lie. So she instantly run in super speed out of the room on which now Raven frowned.

Raven: "I hate it when she does that."

Not even second later Cayla came back.

Cayla: "He's not outside or anywhere near."

Raven knowing already by this routine, which already has been happening for a year, she should've knew he wasn't going to be here anyway.

She sighed and thanked Cayla before getting up and went towards the place where she thought she could find him. His room.

She walked down the hallway until she reached his room. She stepped near the door, which automatic ally opened as she stepped in the dark room. Lights were off and nobody was in here, she couldn't sence any presencse in the room.

So she steps outside the room back into a hallway. She looks left and right to see if he's around, but he isn't. She then walks away down the hall. When she dissappered out of the view, Y/N droped down from the ceiling, still wearing his Red Hood gear.

He looks around to be sure she left for real. When he's sured she left, he goes to the doors and enters his room. He takes off his helnet, but suddenly lights turn on in the room.

Y/N: "Damn it..."

He curses under his breath as he turned around. He sees that Raven was standing near his bed with crossed arms and with stern look shot at him.

Raven: "Y/N, we talked about it."

Y/N: "Did we? Because I don't recall what I said last time."

He placed his helmet into a closet as Raven sighed annoyed.

Raven: "You can't just avoid checking in the medbay, especialy since you got your - -"

She stoped as she looked at his dislocated shoulder, well it was dislocated.

Raven: "... Did you seariously put your shoulder back into the place?"

She asked him as she gave him an annoyed look.

Y/N: "Well, I have a somewhat of an healing factor so it should be okay."

She told as he leaned on the closet.

Raven: "No, that's still not a good thing to do, just putting the bone back into the place."

Y/N: "I can take care of my injuries myself, you know."

He sharply responded. Raven groaned at his stubbornness as she sat down on his bed.

Raven: "Y/N, I have seen some of your wounds which you badly stiched and they got infected."

They stood there in silence before Raven montioned to the bed and walked to where she left the medkit, which was on the nightstand in the corner.

Raven: "Come on, I know you got some injury after Ronin threw you of the truck."

Y/N hesitantly flicked his butt of the closet and walked up to her near the bed.

There was a long moment as they both started at each other, uncertain of what their next should be. Y/N's sharp words still hung between them, an echo of thing he hadn't really want to say - the same defensive mrchanism of his loneliness he exeperienced through the years. The same fear. That same thing of no need for other's help. Well, she wasn't fucking having it today.

He wet his lips and Raven remembers now how imposing as Red Hood he really could be. Standing five feet and 10 inches (173 cm), he was 2 inches (5 cm?) taller then her. She held her ground, tilting her head up to meet his stare again.

Raven: "Take of your shirt..."

He started at her for a long moment before sighing, finally gaving up, as he started taking off his jacket and vest.

After he removed the vest, he reached up between his shoulder blades and pulled off his black shirt in one swift movement.

It was diffrent in the lights of the room in the darkness outside than it was in the bright light of the late morning. His back was a map of where he'd been - the scars he was forced to carry, the pain that wove into the muscles of his back. His body was a ragged thing, gnarled and broken and a used, and he was forced to endure it all. Alone.

Y/N caught her shocked stare and narfowed his eyes, when he sensed the pity in her.

Y/N: "You've seen this before."

Raven: "... It doesn't make it any less painful."

She had absorbed his pain for a few of these scars, had tried to to take away the hurt, but most of them had been there while he was believed to be dead, and he had to suffer through those all by himself. She didn't want to think about that - about what it must have been for him, to just feel the constant ache and pain from the wounds that never quite healed.

Shifting, she looked back up into his eyes

Raven: "Lay on the bed."

Y/N glared at her, but turned slowly and settled onto the bed, taking moment to find a comfortable position. Finally Raven crawled up beside him and got to work. She could instantly heal his wounds, but she won't because they need to be done by hand.

It was a slow work, but she took as much time as she could, feeling his barriers disapper with time. Her fingers resting on a raised scar at the base of his spine, tracing it down as she watched the fight drain out of his muscles. But when she came to across the bigger and fresh scar, he winced at the touch.

Raven: "Sorry."

She whispered as she now concreated on that scar, as Y/N closed his eyes and sunk deeper into the blankets on the bed, his breathing slowing and his body becoming lax.

When she was finally down, she put everything in the medkit.

Y/N: "Raven."

She turned to Y/N who was now laying on his back, looking at her. He gulped and after few seconds responded.

Y/N: "Thank you... I'm sorry for...earlier..."

She gave him a shy smile

Raven: "It's okay."

They both looked away, with tiny bit of red on their cheeks, but luckly for them, then Cayla came in the room.

Cayla: "Hey Y/N, can I - -"

But she stoped as she saw them, but luckly, medkit was near so it didn't make it more awkward, but he still was shirtless.

Y/N: "Trust me, you caught in more awkward moment. What do you need?"

Cayla: "Oh, emm, Damian and I decided to watch the Star War marathon so I wondered if we could borrow your dvds."

She said as Y/N and Raven nearly laughed, knowing exatcly why, Damian especialy, wanted to watch them know.

THE NEXT DAY

Y/N was watching Kori fighting these space lizards that once held her captive when she was younger in The traing room, while Raven was meditating behind him.

He watched as Kori destroyed last one, by hitting him in The head with her staff as she lands down, pieces of hologram falling infront of her.

Red Hood: "I think you just finally understood what headshoot means, but with an melee weapon."

Starfire then noticed that Terra came into the room, who was leaning on the wall.

Starfire: "Terra.

She stand up as Y/N also noticed Terra.

Starfire: "Would you like to us me? The staff helps clear the mind."

Terra: "No thanks. I'm just trying to avoid green bean for a while. I never cared much for the zoo."

Red Hood: "Ha."

He snorted as they walk up to her."

Starfire: "If he's bothering you..."

Terra: "He's just a jerk."

She shrugged. Then She looked on her left and saw Raven meditating.

Terra: "Is it true what they say about her, that she has her father trapped in that Jewel on her head?"

Red Hood: "His name is Trigon. He's a Demon, but satan more likly. They have... issues."

He said, as the last part reminded him of his realtionship with his father was like that, maybe still is.

Terra: "Well, she knows where she can find him."

Starfire: "You should talk to her more. You'll find that Raven can be quite interesting."

Terra: "No thanks. Too creepy for me."

Then she turned and started walking away, as Raven opened her eyes and turned as she watched Terra walking away.

In ops room, Dick was working on the files they stole from the HIVE base. He moved to another computer as he also took another slice of pizza when nottification came.

Computer: "Accessing most recent footage on brother blood."

He turned as clip from the interview with Brother Blood poped UP on one of the screens.

Blood: "Lies. My church is a holy place and we strive only to do good."

Reporter: "Come now, brother blood. Isn't your church just a glorified cult?"

Blood: "Unlike you, Bryce, I believe in an America where all beliefs should be treated with respect. It's a shame the press doesn't."

He got up from the chair, threw the microphone off and walked out of the camera view.

Reporter: "I'm afraid that's all we're going to get from brother blood. I'm Bryce Peterson. Have a good night."

Clip ended as Damian walked in.

Robin: "Grandfather would have been impressed with blood, running a worldwide cult as well as H.I.V.E."

Nightwing: "They're the same thing. He just makes them look separate."

Dick corrected him as he then looks him more closely.

Nightwing: "Do you ever get out of that uniform?"

Robin: "Only when I bathe."

Nightwing: "Might be time."

Damian then lifted his arm up as he then smelled his armpit. "

Robin: "I'm good."

He shrugged as then then turned to leave.

Robin: "Goin' out."

Nightwing: "I hear you're gone a lot. Where do you go?"

Damian turned back to Dick, a little bit offended.

Robin: "You realize I'm not a child who needs permission to go outside. Correct?"

Nightwing: "Damian, I wasn't interrogating. Just taking an interest."

Robin: "Oh! I go out on patrol, with Y/N. By the way, I should offer congratulations on your cohabitation, Grayson. Starfire has proven herself to be a decent leader. I approve."

Nightwing: "Thank you."

Dick thanked, a little bit confused on the way Damian approved of his realtionship. Then Kori came in, just out of the shower, as Terra and Cayla also came, both leaning on the entrance of the room.

Starfire: "Have you found anything in the H.I.V.E. Files?"

Nightwing: "Nothing earth-shaking, but I'm still checking."

Terra: "Sounds like you got squat. I love endangering my life for nothing."

She sarcastically responded, as yesterday she dont the samething.

Cayla: "Amen to that."

Nightwing: "Which is why I've added the newest files to the ones too damaged to read, from the previous raids. I'm hoping the computer will find a connection we missed. It may take the program a day or two."

He explained

Robin: "Not your worst idea."

He said as Dick gave him a stare.

Robin: "What?"

Velocity: "He's not wrong."

She agreed with Damian, but also got a stare from Dick as she quickly shut up. Damian then started to walk out of the room when Gar, morphed into a bug, flied into his face.

Robin: "Ugh!"

Cayla: "Watch out. Bug alert."

She joked, as she knew how much Damian hated Gar for his morphing.

BB: "Hey, anyone seen Jaime?"

Terra: "Yeah, he's right there."

She pointed towards the screen where Jaime was hitting the boxing back quite aggressively then usual.

Starfire: "Something is wrong."

BB: "Yeah, there is. He's about to be crushed at foozball. You wanna come see?"

He asked her as he flied up to her face.

Terra: "Buzz off."

Starfire: "Maybe you should go. Might be good to have three of you down there."

She told to Terra, Gar and Cayla as Jaime on just punched the bag off the hook.

ON ISLAND, OUTSIDE OF JUMP CITY

Blood: "And I say to you. Those who deny the chosen, have no place in the Eden that shall be built. Sinners and blasphemers who do not share our values need not apply, brothers and sisters."

Followers: "Hail, brother blood! Hail, hail, hail. Hail, brother blood. Hail, hail, hail..."

Mayhem was walking down the hall as on a lot of screens was one of latests speeches Brother Blood did. She finally walked to the door and opened it.

Blood: "Ah, there you are, mayhem. Punctual as always."

He says as he was sitting in the pool of blood, as 2 of his servants were standing behind him, as Mayhem walk up to him.

Mayhem: "How can you be so calm? That was the third base the titans have destroyed."

Blood:" My plan is nine centuries in the making. In every age, there are always those who oppose me. But as you can see, I am always victorious."

He explained as Mayhem sees the reporter from earlier, hanged up by arms, dead as blood dripped down on the ground.

Mayhem: "Is that the reporter?"

Blood: "Yes. Our friend won't be asking impertinent questions anymore."

Mayhem: "His heresy does not compare to the titan's threat. We barely escaped them."

She said as Blood got up from the pool, as one of asisstens started to wash the blood of him with water.

Blood: "But you did, because one warned you. And another saved you. Our guardian angels."

He said, but colud see she was fretting.

Blood: "Oh, stop your fretting, mayhem."

He then put on one the towel shirt as he walked up to her.

Blood: "They'll keep the titans at bay. I've foreseen it."

He put his hand on his shoulder for couple of seconds before walking away.

Blood: "Plus, I pay the bastards enough."

Titans Tower, Night

In the tower, Dick and Kori were packing their stuff as they were moving to their apartment in the city.

Nightwing: "For a space Princess, you sure have a lot of stuff."

Kori was cleaning an small Pink circled necklaces as she looked at it.

Starfire: "I've had this since I was a little girl. It was the only thing I had time to take."

She sadly says as Dick comes to her into hug, but then tower starts to shake out of sudden.

Starfire: "Not again."

They run out of the room as they meet with couple of others ouside Terra's room. They entered and saw Terra was moving in sleep, which activated her powers.

BB: "Terra, are you okay?"

Robin: "She's going to bring the building down."

Raven: "I can help."

She walks to her and puts her hands on Terra's head as she started using her powers, which worked as Terra waken up, as she was covered in sweat.

Terra: "What are you doing? Get off me!"

She shouts as she pushes Raven away

Starfire: "You were shaking everything, Terra. We came to check on you."

Nightwing: "Are you all right?"

Terra: "It's a freaking nightmare. Just leave me alone. I'm okay, so, get going."

She said to them as she sit on the edge of her bed.

Terra: "You heard me. Get going."

After second time, Kori, Dick, Y/N and Raven started to leave the room, but gar and Damian stayed a little longer, both for diffrent reasons.

Terra: "You too, Greeny."

With that, they both then left room as Terra continued to sit on her bed.

Nightwing: "Does that happen a lot?"

Starfire: "It happens enough."

They talked as they started to walk back to their rooms, expect Robin, Raven and Y/N, who was leaning on the wall on Raven's right side.

Robin: "What did you see?"

He asked her as true son of the bat would.

Raven: "Nothing. And if I did see anything, it wouldn't be your business."

She responded harshly.

Robin: "Everything that goes on in the tower is my business. Just like it should be for all of you."

Raven: "The last I checked, Damian, Kori was in charge, not you."

She fired back as she turned and walked away, leaving the two as only ones in the hall.

Robin: "You think what I'm thinking."

He asked as he turned to his older brother.

Red Hood: "That something is off with Terra? Definitely."

THE GRAVEYARD

Same night, Brother Blood was standing infront of some grave stones as he was talking aloud.

Blood: "So good to see you again, my friends. It's been too long. Too long."

???: "Don't make this weirder than it already is, blood."

A voice said as he appered from behind an statue, but was still in the dark.

Blood: "Are you referring to the setting? I myself take strength from it."

He told him as he turned to face him.

Blood: "The cemetery isn't a place to be feared. It's a place of renewal."

???: "We have no problem meeting anywhere you want.

???2: "But we get concerned when our employer talks to himself."

Then another voice was heared as second person walked out from behind the statue on other side of it.

Blood: "I talk to the dead, for no matter how rotted the corpse, there's always a tiny wisp of life left. Sometimes enough life to bring them back. You of all people should know that."

Then two figures step out into the light, revealing to be Deathstroke and Ronin.

Deathstroke: "What do you want, blood?"

Blood: "I want to move everything up by a week. I've waited long enough, Deathstroke and Ronin."

Ronin: "That wasn't the deal we agreed on."

He said as they both were annoyed how someone cant follow an single contract these days.

Blood: "I'll double your prices and give you perfect chance to torment Red Hood before you kill him. Is that acceptable?"

He said to Ronin as he then turned to face Deathstroke.

Blood: "As before, I want all the titans, expects Hood, of course. Can you do it?" "

He asked as both mercenaries narrowed their eyes, 3 of them in total.

NEXT DAY, TITANS BACKYARD

Starfire: "To be ready for anything, you must train for everything."

Starfire spoke as they all were outside for an training session. She was standing infront of them with an staff in her hand. Terra, Beast Boy, Blue Beetle, Velocity and Robin were standing on one side, while Nightwing, Red Hood and Raven on another. Y/N was hokding his helmet underneath his arm.

Starfire: "That was the most important lesson instilled in me by the warlords of Okaara."

BB: "Them again?"

He blurted out as they heared enough times of those warlords.

Beetle&Velocity: "Dude..."

They both gave him a look to not start complaining again.

Starfire: "And so it shall be instilled in you. Let's pair off. Those not fighting, watch and learn. Nightwing."

She called up to him as he took out his escrima sticks and walked over to her.

Starfire: "Shall we dance, good sir?"

Nightwing: "But of course, my lady."

Red Hood: "Please get your ass kicked, Dick."

He told to himself and as he wanted, in the end, Nightwing got his ass kicked as Starfire catched one of the escrima sticks and then she hooked him by the leg so he fell on the floor, as she place her staff near his head, standing victorious over him.

Raven: "Guess we know who's taking out the garbage at the new place."

Raven told Y/N as she titled her head towards him. Y/N smirked at her comment as he turned to her.

Nightwing: "That was not a confidence booster."

He commented as he got up and scratche his head.

Starfire: "You did very well. You lasted far longer this time."

Terra snorted while Y/N's eyes widen in realisation that he heared the sentence in the wrong way and looked away.

Starfire: "I meant in training, of course. He's very proficient when we have - -"

Nightwing: "Kori!"

He stoped her before she could say it. She smiles embarrassingly as Nightwing scratches his head also in embarrassed.

Starfire: "Blue beetle, raven."

She calls out to them as both pairs change positions. Raven summoned telekineticed construction circled black sheild as Beetle's scarab made a cannon on his hand.

Out of black sheild, Raven sends out three arrow tangles at Beetle. First two one he dodged and third he blocked with his own constructed sheild. He then fired laser bolts at her, but she moved using her flying ability.

Then he shot an tekekineticed missile at him which hit him and pushed him back a little in air. Scarab responded to that with upgrading Beetle's cannon into bigger one.

Beetle: "Sorry, raven, the bug doesn't wanna lose."

Raven: "And you do?"

Then she sends an astral Raven at him which surrounds him, but scarab angrly beeps then shoots itself an powerful blast at Raven which she could block which hits her. As dust clears, Raven is laying in a small crater from the blast.

Red Hood: "Raven!"

He shouts as he runs up to her as Beetle lands next to them.

Beetle: "Dios mio! I'm so sorry. What the hell are you doing?"

He yells at his scarab. Y/N holds Raven up.

Red Hood: "Are you okay?"

Raven: "Ah, I'm fine."

Then she closes her eyes as crystal on her forehead shines for second.

Raven:" But dad feels I've disgraced myself. So that's nice."

Red Hood: "Well, now we are on same page."

He smiles as Raven chuckles at his joke. He helps get up.

Nightwing: "Robins, want to be next?"

Robin&Red Hood: "Obviously."

They both said in same time as they both smirked. Y/N puts his helmet on as Damian draws his sword out. But then Y/N spawns his All Blades, with ease this time which shocks Damian.

Robin: "Two swords!? That's not fair, Todd!"

Red Hood: "How? If you think this is cheating, it's not. It just dark arts..."

But to his luck, his blades started fade again. He groans.

Red Hood: "You know what? Fine I fight you with a kinfe."

He said as he pulls his knife out to which Dick chuckled.

Red Hood: "Chuckle as much you want, bird man, as long you still have those wings."

Without looking at him, he responded which Dick made shut up at which now everyone either quitely laughed or snorted.

Y/N took a stand with a kinfe. Then Damian charged with a sword for a swing. Y/N quickly rolled to the side, dodging the struke, and then blocked another incoming strike with a kinfe as they stood in stand lock. Y/N broke it as he let the sword slide foward, which suprised Damian, as Y/N then grabbed him by the hand, twisting it, which made Damian drop his sword on the ground.

Damian responded as he back fliped kicked him into chest, as Y/N let go of him.

Damian tried to went for a sword, but an grappling hook hooked around his leg, as Y/N then pulled him backwards, as Damian falls on the ground.

Then Y/N with his strength, started to spin Damian in circles, before slaming him into a tree, as Damian falls on the grass.

Red Hood: "You know. You can learn from others, but also from youself, which is ironic for me, because I did, face to face."

He told to Damian, which was acutually true.

Robin: "You're right about first part."

He smirked which confused Y/N, until he heared beeping. He looked down and saw the bombs underneath him, which remind him of an fight which happent 2 years ago.

Red Hood: "You little s - -"

Then he's blown away as he rolls on the ground. He groans as he then felt the sword near his neck, as he looks up and sees Damian standing over him.

Red Hood: "Note to myself: Always watch my steps ahead."

Damian helps him get up, as they walk over to others.

Nightwing: "Beast boy, Terra, you ready?"

He told those two as Gar gaves Terra a look to which she is uninpressed as they both walk foward. Kori gives him a look, reminding him how those two are around each other.

Nightwing: "Right. Sorry."

While those two started to fair off, Y/N walked back next to Raven.

Raven: "You got your ass whoped by the hobbit."

She told him as he scratches his neck.

Red Hood: "Atleast I wasn't the first one to get whoped by him."

She whispered as he secretly pointed his finger at Nightwing to which she giggled.

Red Hood: "Hey, are you okay?"

He asked her which surprised herca little bit.

Raven: "I already told you I was. Why?"

Red Hood: "Well, you - -"

Terra: "Who you calling a witch?"

Then they both turned to see that Terra made an tornado which sended Gar away, who landed hard as he was injured.

Starfire: "Terra!"

She shouted as everyone was shocked to what just happent. Then Terra made an giant worm out of rocks which was heading towards Gar.

Robin: "She's going to kill him!"

Nightwing went to get Gar as Beetle aided him by destroying rock worms with his cannon.

Terra: "Argh!"

Starfire shots her with her bolt which knock her out on the ground as Damian and Cayla run up to her.

Robin: "Terra, control yourself!"

Terra: "What? What's going on?

She asked confused to their surprised. She then notices as Dick helps injured Gar to walk.

Terra:" I'm sorry, it's not my fault."

Red Hood: "You think!?"

He shouts at her as Raven puts a hand on his shoulder which makes him calm down, as she then walks to Terra.

Raven: "Let me calm your mind."

Terra: "No! Don't touch me."

She stops her as she hekds her hand up.

Starfire: "It's okay Terra, we understand."

Nightwing: "Take a breath. We're here for you."

BB: "Yeah. I know you didn't mean to hurt me. I took it too far."

She looks at them surprised, shocked and confused.

Terra: "What's wrong with you people?"

She then starts walking away as everyone looks at her concered, confused and suspiciously.

LATER, NIGHT, OPS ROOM

Y/N and Damian were both leaning on the entrance while Dick was working on computer.

Dick: "I know what you're going to say. Terra needs more training."

He said as Raven and Kori came in.

Damian: "No, it's something else."

Y/N: "She knows."

Y/N said as he looked at Raven as everyone turned to him. Dick spinned in his chair to hear what Raven got to say.

Raven: "Since we talked, I have sensed something off about Terra."

Damian "She needs to be watched, Grayson."

He says firmly.

Dick: "She needs understanding not surveillance. Terra, has her rough edges. But Kori thinks she's worth it. And I agree."

Dick says as he gets UP from the chair and walks up to Damian.

Damian:" Making decisions with your heart will get people killed."

He tells as he then turns a leaves the room. Then rest of them turned to Y/N.

Dick: "And you agree with him?"

He asked, not believing that they are actually agreeing on the same thing, to which Y/N sighs and pinches his nose before looking at Dick.

Y/N: "It's been a year already and we still know noting about her. Last time when we let that happen, the world nearly got fucked and do you on who was the biggest choice at deciding the fate of the world?"

He asked, as Raven lowered her head down, knowing that he was fully 100 percent right.

Y/N: "Me. It was on me... And I don't want that to happen again."

3 titans are in silence as Y/N starts to take breaths to calm himself. Raven grabs her hands and purs then near her chest as she turns and leaves still looking down. Y/N watches her leave... and feels kinda bad. Maybe he went to far... he didn't mean... did he hurt her?

Raven walks down the hallway towards her room. She hears footsteps getting louder and louder until she felts on her shoulder.

She turns and looks up too see Y/N with concered look on his face.

Y/N: "Hey, did I... I hurt... did I went to far?"

He asks, stuttering a little. She gives him a weak reassuring smile.

Raven: "No. It's okay, you were right anyway... It's just..."

She stops, not knowing if she wants to tell him or not.

Y/N: "Raven..."

Raven: "..."

Y/N: "Did you... get you any sleep last night. Or days?"

She widen her eyes in surprise.

Raven: "How - -"

Y/N: "You have black bags under your eyes..."

She looks him into his eyes, looking of she can tell him, will he judge if she does? She sighs as she finally decided.

Raven: "It's my father... He thinks that his so clever... by makeing me lose sleep so I will slip on the missions."

Y/N looks at her with understanding.

Y/N: "He's definitely succeding in that department, because you could had blocked Jaime's blast easly but didn't. And not to forget that you nearly got me off the rafter other day."

Raven: "I'm fine..."

She goes to leave, but Y/N grabs her hand.

Y/N: "Stop..."

He spins her again to be turbed to him.

Y/N: "Let me help you, like you been helping me."

Raven: "You know that having injurues and sleeping problems are two completly diffrent things?"

Y/N: "And do I care?"

Raven: "..."

Y/N: "..."

Raven: "Even if I say, you won't stop?"

Y/N: "Nope."

She stare at his greenish E/C orbs before she sighs, finally giving up.

Raven: "Fine... so what do you have on mind?"

They were now in her room. Y/N was sitting on the bed, looking down, before sighing and looking up at Raven, who was standing infront of him, looking unsure if this was a good idea.

Y/N: "This is gonna sound crazy... but... you'll have to lay on my chest."

Raven's violet-blue orbs widen as she steps a step backwards.

Raven: "W-what!?"

Y/N: "I know, it's crazy, but... when I was in with the League, there was a person... who when I had nightmares at night would come up to me... and told me to lay on their chest and listen to their heartbeat. Noting else, just the heartbeat... which worked as it helped me to calmly fall back to sleep."

He can see she was still uncertain about his proposal, as she was glacing all around the room, but on him and was holding herself, with her arms to her chest.

Y/N: "Please..."

They share a look with each other. Then Raven for last time sighed and started taking sliw steps fowards, as he laid on the bed.

She walks to the bed and gets on it, as she crawled up to him and then sliely and carefully laid on his chest as both of their cheeks got a little shades of pink.

Raven: "So... just listen to your heartbeat...?

Y/N: "Yes...just concentrate on it."

He slowly starts to put his hands around her, uncertain how will she react.

On his surprise, she then snuggles on top of him as she lays her hand in the middle of his chest, on his red bat symbol with an R in the middle.

She then tries concentrate on his heartbeat. The beat starts to begin only thing she hears, as her father's voice starts to fade, getting lower and lower, until it disappers.

Her cheeks are now redder at the positions she's in. First time in long time after her mother and world died, she is in someone touch as gentle as his is. She shyly smiles.

Raven: "Thank you..."

She thanks as she closes her eyes. Y/N smiles at her.

Y/N: "No problem."

So he then also closes his eyes, as they both fell asleep in each others embrace.

I know i said that i only write long chapters when its an finale of the arc, but hell, this just happent.
